Ondina loved Hogsmeade. It was such a wonderful escape from school. No homework to worry about, no annoying ghosts, and it was far easier to avoid people you didn't like. While Ondina wasn't known for playing nice with others, she had a knack for staying out of trouble, one reason being she didn't want to give the Professors a reason to revoke the visits.
The girl was currently at Madam Puddifoot's, sitting by herself with a cup of hot peppermint tea in her hands, a book propped open on the table next to a plate of pastries. Oh, she hadn't come to Hogsmeade alone, but she had abandoned her friends' at Zonkos. She just found the shop incredibly dull, though she thought the same of her Uncle's business. She'd grown up constantly seeing the newest developments in the joke world, and thus... she felt like she'd seen it all. That there was nothing more to really surprise her. They'd yet to catch up with her, or rather, her friends hadn't found her yet.
At the cafe the girl sat next to a window, her gaze flickering from the book on the table to the people walking past outside, sipping from her cup whenever she remembered. It was a gorgeous day out. While it was still cold, the sun was out and effectively melting the snow. Good. It meant Winter was finally coming to an end, but sadly, spring was on the way. She wished it would go straight to summer. She'd avoid the whole allergy season if she could, if only because it was a pain to deal with her asthma.
She couldn't help was smile as she continued to stare out the window. She quickly looked back down at her book, so no one would see. Raising her tea cup to her lips, partially to hide the smile even more, she used her free hand to flip the page of her book. The book was all about Animagi, very fitting for Ondina. It was no secret what her favorite, and best, subject was. It also wasn't a secret that she had a very strong desire to master the art of transforming yourself into an animal...
The bell above the door rang, announcing the arrival of another customer. Ondina looked up immediately, a sour look on her face. She'd been the only one here for so long, who was disturbing her solitude?

He couldn't stand her anymore.
Rose Weasley, that snobbish, borish, know-it-all, bratty-ugh! Scorpius had actually thought he may spend a bit of the Hogsmeade trip with her, heaven knows why he wanted to. But no, she was surrounded by her little eagles and merely glared at him as he walked by. This was normal for them, but today it was bothering him moreso than usual. He didn't need to let it bother him. He had better things to do. Bigger fish to fr- Aw.
As if by the touch of fate, it was at that exact moment that Scorpius saw Ondina Weasley through the window of the tea shop. Ondina. Such a complicated individual. Being one of Albus's list favorite cousins meant that Scorpius heard a lot of negativity about her, but that didn't stop that fact that Scorpius had always been attracted to her. No, it sort of just made him want her even more. Not in the same way he wanted to spend time with Rose, not that he wanted to spend time with Rose. But no, his attraction toward Ondina was a bit more... physical. She was a riot to hang out with too, which only added to his interest in her.
For two years they had been dating on and off. Breaking it off over silly things and getting back together over even sillier things. Today was going to be another one of those silly reasons for getting back together, but Scorpius didn't care. He needed someone who understood him, someone who liked being around him. For the most part, at least.
He doubled back, opening the door of the tea shop and turning to face her. She looked up at him, disdain in her face which no doubt came from being disturbed. He put on his best smile and moved toward her, bending down when he reached her in order to clasp her face with both hands. He kissed her, then pulled back just enough to look into her eyes. "I miss you," he said.
So, his intentions were probably most likely definitely to get Rose out of his head, but he didn't want to admit that to himself.

Scorpius Malfoy.
That was who entered the tea shop. Her expression softened immediately. Her relationship with Scorpius was... complicated. Being in the same year and house, they'd known each other for six years, sharing most of the same classes. And, since their fourth year, it was almost like they were on a teeter totter, the slightest breeze making them shift from love to hate, back to love, back to hate... It was a never ending cycle, the two always getting pulled back together. Not always for good reasons, of course, but logic seemed to have been thrown out the window a long time ago when it came to them. While Scorpius completely infuriated her at times, he happened to be one of the most attractive (in her perspective) boys at the school, with charms and manners to match. And, lets face it, he was a good kisser. While that hadn't always been the reason for her dating him, it had been a strong motivation a couple times...
There was that 'charm your socks off' smile of his. She knew it all to well, and couldn't help that small little smirk of her own as a response. She set her tea cup down quickly, out of harms way before he reached her table. He was here on a mission, and she'd rather keep her peppermint tea from becoming one of the casualties. It had been a smart move to, as he didn't even hesitate when he reached her table, confidently stealing a kiss with out a word.
She should slap him. She should yell at him. She should do something to make her displeasure and disapproval clear! After all, they weren't together at the moment. The only problem was? She neither disapproved, nor was displeased. In fact, she didn't even hesitate to kiss him back. Scorpius just had that affect on her... As stated earlier, they always got pulled back together...When he pulled back, she actually scowled for a split second. Not out of disgust for what he'd done, but rather that he'd stopped. It wasn't unusual behavior for her... Finally her own charming smile replaced it. "You do?" she teased, that smile never disappearing. "And what are you going to do about that?"
Oh, Albus wasn't going to be happy one bit...

He was expecting that scowl that appeared on her face. In fact, he loved that look. She was definitely one of those people that was incredibly cute when she was angry. At least, in Scorps opinion. When the smile took it's place though, Scorpious smiled back. "You do? And what are you going to do about that?" That teasing tone of hers sent a little chill up Scorps spine. For a split second he thought of Albus, and how much Al was going to kill him for doing this again. Scor leaning in closer to her, kissing her one more time before suddenly pulling back, taking the seat on the other side of the small table. "Well, for now I'm going to sit here and have a conversation with you, as long as that lasts," he smirked, implying that they wouldn't be able to just talk for long.
Scorp was a very respectful sort of boyfriend, of course, and has never wanted or tried to push his relationship with Ondina too far. They simply just had loads of fun together, whether they were kissing, joking around or just having a conversation. He really liked her, even if they're relationship was incredibly rocky and even if he was only going back to her because of Rose-but no, there were other reasons too. She was great, and they got on well. That's why they had dated so many times.
He leaned forward, reaching to gently tug the book she was reading toward himself, "you've just been sitting here alone all day, eh?" he guessed, eyeing the cover.

Ondina loved to tease Scorpius, and especially the way he reacted to it. So, of course, she was more then a little smug when his response was to kiss her again, and she couldn't hide the emotion from her expression afterwards. He finally took the open seat across from her, and she shifted, crossing her legs in such a way that her leg foot very lightly touched his calf. The message was clear, she wasn't letting him leave anytime soon. Ondina didn't respond immediately though, instead picking up her teacup and taking a sip on her peppermint tea. Her gaze never left him. "Great idea." She caught the hint.
Ondina did like Scorpius, quite a lot. He understood her better then almost anyone else, and the girl could share anything and everything with him. They did have issues though, which Ondina felt was normal. One of the biggest, for Ondina, was Albus, her cousin and Scorpius' best friend. The cousins had never gotten along even as children. And so, dating his best friend always caused a lot of friction. Thankfully she still had her teacup near her mouth, as it hid that smug smirk of hers. Oh, she couldn't wait to 'accidentally' tell Albus.
"You make it sound like that's a bad thing." She retorted, finally setting the cup back on the plate and watching as he slowly confiscated her book. She didn't move to grab it from him. "I ditched the others at Zonkos." the girl finally added with a shrug. "I figure you didn't come here for a cup of tea." She raised an eyebrow, silently demanding he actually say what he wanted. She knew why he was here, knew what he wanted, but she was going to make him actually say it.

As she shifted so her foot was touching his calf, Scorpius felt that familiar tug of desire to go to her again. How did they ever avoid each other? Oh yeah, the literally avoided each other when they weren't dating. It was like they weren't even friends. In fact, he was pretty sure that they weren't. Still, he wanted her nine times out of ten when it came to a romantic relationship. "Great idea," that was his clue that she knew exactly what he meant, and that she was completely okay with it. He felt a rush of relief at the familiarity of sitting across from Ondina Weasley, feeling that connection spring between them once more. He pushed the reasons why they should be together aside.
He knew that Ondina didn't mind being alone, which was one of the things he loved about her. She could fend for herself. "Aw, well, Zonkos can be a real bore," he said casually, just making small take for the sake of filling the air in the moment. Then, of course, she called him out on why he came into the tea shop. That was so like her, and she got away with it too. Pulling his strings any way she wanted. And it worked too, every time. Scorp liked to think he was the one in control when really, Ondina had quiet a power over him. He leaned forward, placing her book back in front of her, setting it down so it was perfectly vertical with the tables edge. Then he looked back up into her eyes, "well, I think it's about time for a little reconnection between us," he explained, his voice low. "I think it's time we stopped pretending we don't want each other," his voice was serious almost, but the smirk never left his face.

Ondina propped her elbows on the table, her head resting in the palm of her hands. It was a habit of hers, and when it happened? You knew you had her undivided attention. She did it all the time when Scorpius spoke, as if totally enthralled by his words. Her expression was unreadable for those moments. It was unnerving, that she forced him to bear it all out there, and then, for a handful of seconds, looked as if he'd had no effect. After those heartdropping few moments though, a smile crept across her lips. She didn't say anything though, at least not yet. Instead she shifted, dropping her hands to the table and stood. Slowly she leaned foward and softly planted a kiss on his cheek, before pulling back just enough to look him in the eye, so close they were almost touching.
"I never pretended that I don't want you, Scorpius." She whispered, dead serious. The girl refused to call him by any other then then Scorpius, never shortening it in any way. She finally sat back down in her chair. It was a good thing they were the only two in the cafe, otherwise the other customers would probably be getting uncomfortable by now. Not that either of the two would care.... Ondina happened to like Public displays of affection, especially with Scorpius. She wanted the whole world to know that he was taken, and just who they would have to mess with if they wanted him. Ever since the transfigure incident, another female student hadn't risked her wrath. Even when they weren't dating, there were plenty of students that were.. cautious around the pair.

"I never pretended that I don't want you, Scorpius." Scorp almost gulped at that, considering the serious expression and the way her energy was moving toward him. He wavered for a moment. Thinking of... well, thinking of people he shouldn't be thinking about. He leaned forward even more, "perfect. Then I say screw it. Come on," he stood, crossing to her and offering a hand to lift her from her seat before kissing her once more, totally forgetting the fact that there were other people in the tea shop.
Oh, like the people who worked there. "Oi! You kids mind taking this elsewhere? Your scaring off the customers," he heard a voice say, but he kissed her for a moment longer before he was willing to pull away and give the worker a sly, apologetic smile. He had also forgotten that they were right by the window, which meant anyone walking past would see the two of them entangled in each others arms and lips.
He chuckled, turning back to Ondina and reaching a hand down to clasp at her fingertips, gently though. "I think she's right. We should take this elsewhere," he said. A few not so appropriate ideas of where they should go crossed his mind, but he brushed those aside. He felt a surge of anger boil in his chest, a surge of... revenge? "The three broomsticks would be nice," he added. Rose would be there. But then again, so would Al... whoops.

Ondina smirked when it took Scorpius a moment to react. If only she'd known why he'd hesitated though, she might not have been so smug. He recovered quickly though, on the move with out any more hesitation. "Aren't you eager." She commented. It made her wonder... What had changed his mind so suddenly? That smirk turned to a grin as she took his offered hand, letting herself be pulled to her feet and right into a kiss. She rose on her tiptoes a little to kiss him better. When she heard the waitress' protest, the girl smirked against his lips... and pressed a little harder against them. Hey, making people uncomfortable was fun!
Scorpius was the voice of reason in that moment, pulling back to give the woman a silent apology. Ondina just rolled her eyes, his disapproval obvious. She wasn't nearly as charming as him.... Why should she though? It took so much effort! She pouted when he spoke, until... he finished the comment. That pout turned to a broad grin, a mischievous look in those hazel eyes of hers. "Are you sure you can face the public yet?" She teased. He was unusually bold right now.... She loved it. Reluctantly, she pulled her hand out of his, just long enough to turn and quickly pack up her bag and sling it over her shoulder. Turning back she gave the waitress the sweetest look she could muster at the moment... Which at the moment was incredibly sarcastic. Taking his hand in hers again, she moved towards the door. A part of her.. a very big part... was hoping Albus would be there. She'd always enjoyed rubbing it in his face a little to much every time she and Scorpius got back together....

Scorp always loved the way that she went up on her tiptoes to be able to reach his lips. He felt a soft flutter in his stomach as she did so. He was eager, eager to get back into something familiar. Something that didn't involve... well, something that he understood.
He waited patiently as she grabbed her bag and took her hand as she came to him. "Oh I'm sure I can deal with the public, the question really is whether or not the public can handle us," he chuckled. Really, they were kind of a power couple whenever they were together. Crowds parted for them to come through, people commented on how well they looked together with their light hair and green accents. Well, here they were again.
This was normal. This was nice.
They stepped out onto the street and Scorp pulled her closer, sheltering her from any cold hair that may be coming their way. "So, have you just been by yourself all day?" not that this was abnormal for her, but Scorp was often crowded around by other people and he hated to think that Ondina didn't have many friends. He rarely saw any, though and that thought made him sad. Though, she'd probably kill him if he said that out loud.

"It never could before. It definitely can't now." Ondina retorted smugly. Ondina had always known they made a 'good' couple, but her family? They found it awkward. She was a Weasley, and him a Malfoy. The families hadn't gotten along for.... generations! But for some reason, that had never swayed the pair. Maybe it was because they weren't their parents. Or maybe it was the fact that Ondina didn't get along with her family. Either or, Or... Maybe they liked the fact that the previous generations of their families didn't like each other.
The girl snuggled up to him as he pulled her in, smiling contently. "You should know me better then that. I'm not antisocial, just easily bored." The girl had friends.... though she had a tendency to make more enemies then anything else. It really didn't help that she liked to stir up trouble. "You're one to talk though, since I don't happen to see any of your friends around either." she teased. It was unusual though. After all, he was Scorpius Malfoy. Quidditch player, charming, intelligent. He always seemed to be surrounded by people. So... Why was he all alone during a Hogsmeade visit?
Their presence, wandering the streets arm in arm, didn't go unnoticed. Just like they were hard to ignore in the halls. And the closer they got to the center of town, the more students noticed.

Ondina was right. If they're families couldn't affect them, then no one else was going to be able to. His parents had never flat out said that they didn't approve, but they did raise their eyebrows at him and make strange faces when he mentioned Weasley. He understood why they felt that way, but he still felt that it was incredibly stupid. "Well said," he added, leaning over to kiss her on the top of the head. He felt a wave of relief sweep through him. He didn't know how he could stand any time that he was single. Any time that he was without Ondina, really. As she talked about being easily bored, not antisocial, he nodded. He knew that was true. People loved him, but they didn't bother spending time with her... partly because of her personality but partly because of her knack for causing trouble. Luckily, he hadn't been victim to that. At least not that he knew of. "Aw, I just..." he started as she called him out, "I just needed some space today. Been bothered by some things," oh dear, he didn't want to start the first five minutes of their most recent relationship with a lie. Well... he could work around it. Ondina Nell Weasley

To be honest, Ondina never really felt much like a Weasley. She didn't have the characteristic red hair, she didn't get along with most of them, not to mention she was in Slytherin! Sure, several of her cousins had or were in the house, but it was still a shock to most people. Maybe that was why she and Scorpius initially got along, despite Albus trying to get between them... She smiled, gently this time, as he kissed the top of her head. She always found it so... adorable how he did that.
Ondina was a trickster, but not like her uncle George (and Fred...). They were (had been...) good natured about it (misunderstood, but good natured.). It had been fun and games. Her... Well, some people said she was a little like Peeves, the poltergeist. Malicious, cruel, and usually hazardous. It was more then common for people to end up injured when she set her sights on them. Scorpius was right to assume she'd never targeted him though.
She raised an eyebrow as he spoke, offering on a vague explanation. After a second though, she shrugged slightly. She wasn't nosy. If he didn't want to go into detail, that was fine. Maybe he and Albus had had a fight, that'd be nice. "I'm glad I'm not considered someone you needed space from." she commented, smiling once again.

"Me too," he replied, smiling back. He was always relieved to see that genuine smile in her face. He saw how she treated other people. She wasn't really... The most social butterfly. She, like they'd discussed earlier, found few things amusing and probably had even less things to smile about. He liked being one of those things... Even if it was inconsistent. When they entered the Three Broomsticks, Scorp find himself standing up a little straighter. Rose could be in here... Though, so could Al. Ooh, Al was going to be so mad. He didn't have time to be worried about that. "Follow me," it wasn't a command but rather a kind suggestion. He led her to a table nowhere special, not hidden but not in the middle of the room either. He pulled out a chair for her as they arrived at the table. Ondina Nell Weasley

((.... I offer no more excuses for my laziness...))
Ondina didn't spot Albus in the Three Broomsticks immediately. Was he there? Did he see his best friend once again locked arm and arm with Ondina? Oh she hoped so. She wanted to see that smug smirk of his wiped clean off, replaced by that scowl that she was always so proud of causing. It was a bit selfish, and rather twisted and she enjoyed riling up a reaction from her cousin,, but she just couldn't help it. There had always been something about Albus that just irked her. Scorpius had heard her talk about it many times, just as she was sure Albus had talked to him. It must be an awkward situation, literally having to play peace keeper between the two.
Taking the seat he offers, she smiled. "Are't you a gentleman." He always was. It was an endearing trait of his, though sometimes she wished he was a bit more forceful. That he'd surprise her more. But, maybe that was her job in the relationship. She was the spontaneous one and him consistent and sweet. "The usual?" She asked before he took his own seat. One of the waitresses had spotted the pair claim the table and was slowly making her way towards them.
