The corridor’s were quiet and Paris wondered why. It was the weekend, the weather was quite terrible and yet there wasn’t a student in sight. She thought that the students would have been bouncing off the walls in frustration but she did not pass a single one. There were no Quidditch matches, there were no special activities and she doubted there would be any kind of meeting for the student body that would result in all the students partaking. It was not lunch time, there were of course no lessons, so where was everyone?
Paris gave it no further thought, instead she thought about an upcoming lesson for her sixth years. She was going to need a few potions on hand incase any of them set their hair on fire. Paris thought it was quite a fun notion but she supposed she could not risk the students suffering too much. She could give them a preventative measure but then that would not give them a reason to focus properly. The potential to have their hair catch on fire should be motivation enough not to lose focus. If they did set themselves on fire … well then she supposed she could step in.
Paris arrived at the Hospital wing. She pushed open the double doors and made her way in. The beds were all neatly lined and pristine clean. The floors were spotless and the smell of disinfectant made her smile. She liked the smell of cleanliness. In fact she liked cleanliness a lot, she was a little OCD about it, though just a little, not enough to have any sort of disorder she didn’t think. “Hello? Madam Blacksmith?” She called out in a soft and cheery voice. The thought of someone catching their hair on fire was a little amusing to Paris. She supposed this was probably a sign of being a bit of a sociopath, possibly even psychopath but she wouldn't go that far. No, definitely a high functioning sociopath.

It was an uneventful weekend in the Hospital Wing. No Quidditch so there were no injuries to tend to, no students roaming the halls and casting jinxes at one another so there were no extremities to return to their natural state. It was, quite plainly, boring. Caroline sat behind her desk, knitting a scarf to send to her father. She wasn't hoping for someone to come in hurt, but being needed for something was surely better than sitting around doing nothing.
Caroline was just finishing up a row when she heard the main doors outside her office open. "Madam Blacksmith?" Immediately (and perhaps too anxiously,) Caroline rose from her chair and exited her office. She was quite surprised upon entering the main part of the hospital that it wasn't a student, but a coworker. The head nurse smiled nonetheless. "Professor Rose," she nodded in greeting. "How can I help you today?" Caroline bridged the gap between them in hopes of a warm welcoming. Maybe someone needed her help or perhaps Professor Rose was sick. No matter the reason, Caroline was needed and that felt good.
@paris ooc: Sorry this took so long. :]

Paros looked around at the empty beds and was quite pleased there wasn't a ridiculous amount of students around. Too many students meant she'd have to keep her voice even lower. She didn't want to have her surprise ruined. She liked her students to have at least a few fun lessons here and there. Not everything had to be serious and hard.
Paris looked towards the office door as the was a noised from movement and then someone stepped out. She was here! Great, that meant she didn't have to deal with one of the others. Caroline was a lot easier to get on with than the rest and Caroline also fell within Paris' odd definition of 'friends'. Paris smiled at Caroline and gave a small sort of quirky wave. "Good afternoon, Madam Blacksmith." Paris liked to keep things professional when they were in a common area where students could listen in or impose. There was no need for students to know which teachers got on, which ones did not and which ones had nothing to with one another. Professor's lives were nearly entirely on display at the school, they needed to keep some privacy or they'd go crazy.
"Could I please have a word with you in your office?" She asked. She definitely was going to be in need of some burn healing potion for her students. She doubted they'd actually set themselves, or one another, on fire but if they did she wanted to be prepared. She wondered how often she could get away with these sorts of lessons. Probably not often but it was fun for the kids and her. The essay's were always a hoot to read on this subject. It was all about personal choice. Paris had a love for the student's essays anyway. She loved how they reflected her as a Professor, how they gave her insight to her student's learning and understanding. There was a lot to be learnt from homework essay's.
@caroline no worries, lovely! ^.^

"Good afternoon to you as well," Caroline gave Professor Rose a casual nod. "I hope you are well." She said as she made her way over to her tea cabinet and prepared a pot of tea. She gave the cabinet a tap on the top of the counter and the bottom doors swung open and out floated two porcelain cups. "Tea?" She asked, smiling kindly at the professor. Caroline always liked to offer her colleagues tea when they paid her a visit. She felt it was a casual enough way to get to know them a little bit better.
"But of course," Caroline said, gesturing to her office. "Right this way." She led Paris into her office and once inside, she gave her wand a flick and the pot and two cups floated in after them. "How can I be of assistance, dear?" She asked, closing her office door once Paris was inside. Caroline had always gotten along with Paris, she thought her to be one of the few professors that was really invested in the students. Moreso than usual, she felt. She could see it not only in the time Paris put into her classes but also the students in her classes. Caroline had a lot of free time when there were no students in the hospital so she would often patrol the halls and she would sometimes see students practicing their transfiguration spells. It was always interesting to see how they all took it on.
