overall personality:
As Hogwarts Nurse, it's in the job description that one must be caring. I have a lot of compassion care for what I do. My job is the most important thing to me, aside from the students I care for. I happen to be quite the motherly figure, I've been told. I love kids, and I try to relate to them on any level I can. Teenagers are a little harder, so I always end up being some awkward "mom" person. But it all works out. I'm also quirky and bubbly. I'm always cracking jokes to make my patients feel better or to lighten the mood of any situation. I love being happy and having a positive outlook on life.
However, as an adult figure at a school, I do have a stern side. It shows particularly toward the Quidditch players. I don't like Quidditch specifically for the injuries that may, and usually do, occur. And when it comes to love, I'm a little skeptical. I'm easy to get along with as long as we avoid the things I don't really care for or like talking about. If we do happen to steer that way, well, I'm not always so bubbly and pleasant. Let's just say that, I may be a healer but I know how to curse your pants off.

Elijah Blacksmith, 52, muggle teacher.

Topher Blacksmith, 30, twin.

history:
Maggie Porter was a healer at St. Mungo's when she met muggle school teacher Elijah Blacksmith. From there, the rest was history. Elijah was weary at first about the wizarding world, but when the couple welcomed their first daughter, Adelaide, and she showed her first signs of magic, he become very welcome to the idea of a wizarding world. The two weren't planning for twins, or even a second child for that matter, but when Adelaide was five, Maggie and Elijah welcome the twins: Topher and ten minutes later, Caroline.
The Blacksmith family lived in London, as it was close to work for both Mr. and Mrs. Blacksmith. As expected, Adelaide got her letter first. Their father was surprised that a school such as Hogwarts existed. Caroline watched eagerly as her older sister went off to school to learn spells and become a young witch. Caro couldn't wait to attend the institution herself. She wanted to be just like her mother, a healer. Caroline took interest in helping others, always forcing her twin brother to play "doctor" with her whenever she could. It was her childhood dream.
A year before Caroline and Topher were to receive their letters themselves, tragedy befell the Blacksmith family. Maggie became ill. It was a fast acting disease that had no cure. Muggles call it "cancer." Caroline and Topher were forced to watch their mother waste away while their father took on more classes at a local university at night to pay the bills. Adelaide was at school. Unfortunately, Maggie passed before the twins could receive their letters, making the day that they did receive them a sad one instead of a happy one. Elijah was proud to live in a house full of young witches and a wizard. He couldn't have been any more proud of his children.
Growing up, Adelaide had been distant from her younger siblings. For Caroline, she was just an older sister that was never around. Of course, she still loved her, but she just wasn't as close with Adelaide as she was her twin brother, Topher. Unfortunately, all three of the Blacksmith children would grow further apart as they got older. It was during this time of distance she spent away from her siblings that she discovered she was more interested in women than she was men.
Caroline was sorted into Hufflepuff. She took on a fond love for Herbology and Potions, specifically the medicinal purposes they entailed. She was still determined to follow her dream and become a healer, and the death of her mother only cemented this deeper into her desires. She received Outstandings in many of her courses, granting her the ability to train under the head healers at St. Mungo's. Many people there recognized her for her name and the similarities she shared with her mother. She was proud to be a Blacksmith. And she was proud of her sexuality, which she had struggled with for years but still maintained a good GPA.
When Caroline was twenty-seven, she had completed her training and a position at Hogwarts had opened up. The Head Nurse had retired and heard of Caroline's endeavors and wanted her to take her place. Excited and more eager than ever, Caroline accepted and has proudly worn the title of Hogwarts Head Nurse proudly for the last three and a half years.
