((takes place after the scorp/rose/ondina fight...))
Ondina had just stormed out of the Great Hall. She was mad as could be, but considering the flamboyant, loud, and rather aggressive argument that had just happened, it was no surprise. Neither was the fact that she was practically gasping for breath, a hand held tightly against her chest. Getting riled up was never good for her asthma, and she'd refused to stop when she felt it coming. She'd just let it get worse and worse, because she just couldn't stop. She'd just snapped, unable to hold back anymore. Now she had to pay the consequences.
She needed somewhere quiet to calm down...
She really didn't want to though! She was so angry that she just wanted to go right back up there, this time wand in hand! Her lungs protested the idea, which was why she crept into an empty room in the Dungeons, slamming the door behind her. The girl tried to take a deep breath, but her lungs felt like they were on fire. Slowly she leaned against the wall, before sinking to the ground. Pressing her cheek against the cold stone, she closed her eyes. Each shaky breath she took felt like sharp needles.
Why... Why did she have to be plagued by this stupid condition? It made hurting people so blasted difficult.

Cassius was watching the whole thing from the staff table. It was sad, the amount of pleasure if caused him to see their relationship end like that. However, the amount of pleasure he took in it was nothing compared to the worry that took hold as soon as Ondina was clearly having trouble breathing. Heck, the second she raised her voice he knew that she was going to be in trouble. He didn't wait for the fight to end before slipping out the staff entrance of the hall and heading to the hospital wing. She was going to need medicine, possibly, and he wanted to be prepared. He decided in that moment that he was just going to keep the potion on him at all times from now on. Especially if they were going to be engaging in activities that made one short of breath... anyway. He came around to the front of the Great Hall, medicine in hand, but she was too quick and was already huffing down the hall by the time he got there. He followed her, not speaking up just yet but letting her anger run it's course for bit. She was fast, though, and was soon storming into a classroom and slamming the door. He slowly opened the door, looking down to find her on the ground. He crossed to her, careful not to be too loud. "Ondina," he said softly, bending down by her side to sit. He gently slid his hand underneath her cheek, lifting her head onto his lap. He lifted his wand and pointed it at her chest, muttering something before lifting the little potion in front of her. "Take this," it wasn't a question and he lifted it to her lip, pouring the potion into her mouth. "I'm here, just take your time. Try not to kill me," he smirked. Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina didn't hear the door open. Or the quiet footsteps. But she did hear her name, recognizing the owner purely by the sound of his voice. She'd recognize it any where. It was a voice that, normally, captivated her attention, as if by magic. It was a little different now, her anger and pain in her chest dulling the sensation. She did slowly open her eyes though, her gaze still vibrant with raw rage, with a touch of pain of course. "It's.... fine...." She sharply whispered, her breathing making it difficult to form the words. She didn't mean to snap at him, not exactly, but she was angry and he was there. It just came out.
When he moved her though? She actually growled, her eyes flashing. She hated this, and he knew it. Hated being so... weak, especially around him. Her protests were weak though, and he'd forced the potion down before she could work up a stronger defense to stop him. Slowly, and obviously by magic, her breathing evening out, her throat relaxing from it's death grip. Taking in a deep breath, she closed her eyes again, curling up into a ball again but keeping her head in his lap. "It was under control....." She softly, bitterly muttered after several more deep breaths. ".... I'll kill you when I can move again." She added as an after thought.

As she curled up into a ball Cassius set his wand and the empty bottle to the side. He placed on hand softly on her side while the other played with the hair around her face. She was angry and bitter, he knew that. He could basically see his death in her eyes, and this made him chuckle more. She lied and said it was under control, but he believed her when she said she'd kill him whens she was able to move again. He kept that smirk on face and let her get the words out, and let her glare for a little bit before speaking again. "I'd love to give you that chance, but I'd appreciate it if you were completely able to handle the stress of being beaten," he widened his eyes on pursed his lips, almost in a oh-no-I-didn't manner. He was messing with her and he knew that he would be punished for it later but he didn't really mind the idea of that. "Though, this classroom probably isn't the best place to hang out. Unless..." he removed his hand from her side to clasp his wand again, turning it toward the door and locking it. The sound of that lock clicking made his smile wider. "That's better."Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina had closed her eyes as she lay there, taking slow and deep breaths. It was always easier to trigger a second asthma attack if she brushed off a previous attack to quickly. It was why she wasn't moving yet, giving her body just a little time to recover. Though one of her eyes opened when he spoke, so she could fix him with a death glare. "Aren't you confident...." Was her quiet reply, her tone making it quite clear she planned on proving him wrong. She closed her eye then, turning a little more into him as she inhaled deeply. She'd learned the other day just how much she just loved the smell of Cassius, almost like winter pine. Cool, fresh.
She didn't speak when he spoke next, just grumbled as she turned her head a bit more into his leg, her answer obvious. She wasn't moving. Though there was a small twitch when she heard the door lock itself. Not out of annoyance though, it was silent agreement that he'd made the right decision. She was still angry as heck, bristling, but at least she was starting to calm down. Her breathing had evened out, and she wasn't shaking from anger. Progress.

He was glad that she closed her eyes for a moment. It made him feel trusted, which was a good feeling to have with a girl in your arms. She quiet mocked his confidence and he chuckled softly at the words. As she grumbled, turning her head toward him more he knew that she wasn't planning on going anywhere anytime soon, and that was fine with him. Just fine. As they sat there, he was analyzing her condition, of course. Her breathing had started to even and her body was shaking anymore. Granted, he was sure the shaking came more from the anger than from the asthma- but it was still a good thing to have dissipate. After a moment, he finally spoke again. "As much as I love this, you should probably sit up so that you can finish clearing your airway by breathing properly," even as he said it though he didn't bother trying to move her. He knew she would sit up when she was good and ready. Ondina Nell Weasley

Cassius was right.
Ondina knew he was. Did she like that fact? Not one bit! Was she planning on listening? Not immediately. She let out a little huff, silently acknowledging that she'd heard him, but was deciding to ignore him for the time being. Because ignoring your healer was always a great idea.
She lay there motionless for several more minutes, taking slow deep breaths. Enjoying the fact that it was just her and him. No one else. She didn't have to pretend like there wasn't something between them, and neither did he. Their little secret. She was relatively calm down, her breathing normal and her temper faded. Maybe she wouldn't kill Cassius after all. At long as she shifted, rolling onto her back and opening her eyes once more to gaze up at him. "I'm guessing you saw all that?" She meant the fight in the Great Hall....

After a moment she finally brought up what had caused this asthma attack to happen. As she rolled over to look at him, he nodded at her words. "I did. I'm sorry," he really was, too. It was probably horrible for Ondina seeing her own boyfriend run to someone else's aid, her own cousins aid for that matter. Cassius would never have done something like that to her. Still, he was horrified that she had to grow through something like that. He hadn't dealt much with abandonment, but he knew that he wouldn't do well with it... not at all. His hand was back to stroking her hair. "He should have ended it so you didn't have to go through with that. That wasn't fair," he was trying to stay calm, not show the anger in his voice. She knew him well enough though. She was close enough to feel his muscles tense and his heart rate pick up. "Still, it was amusing to see you call him and Rose out like that in front of everyone," he added with a genuine smirk. Ondina Nell Weasley

"Sorry?" She slowly, carefully asked. She looked unusually surprised that he felt sorry for her. Yes she was angry and mad at the whole situation, and most people would feel like she was the victim in this, but Cassius.... He'd know better. Especially when that smile started to creep across her lips. "Yes, sorry. Poor me." That tone. It was almost like.... Yes, there was no doubt about it.
She'd planned that whole thing.
Finally Ondina sat up, that terrifyingly dark smile still there. "Are you angry?' She asked, her head tilting to the side. Slowly she leaned forward, planting a gentle kiss on his cheek. "You should feel sorry for them. You think anyone's going to blame me for what happened? Poor, delicate, sickly, me? First Albus tries to kill me in the tower, then his best friend breaks my heart. Who's to say this wasn't their entire plan to begin with?" she whispered before pulling back, pouting slightly. "I'm just the helpless bystander, caught in the fire."

Cassius could feel the storm brewing as soon as she repeated back the word, sorry. His heart caught for a moment until that smile appeared on her face and then his own smile grew. She was one devious little thing, and he wanted to snog her right there because of that. But, he wanted to let her speak first. As she sat up he frowned briefly, but kept his hands to himself. Which was incredibly hard with the way she was acting. She slowly leaned forward to kiss his cheek, but he sat still. Her tone, her words… that dark monster behind her eyes was slipping through again and Cass felt his heart beat loudly with excitement at the notion. "I'm just the helpless bystander, caught in the fire.". At those words, Cassius was sold. She was the most amazing creature he had ever laid eyes on. He, finally, reached a hand out to lace it in the hair at the base of the back of her neck and held on. ”Well, at least let me burn with you,” he said before pulling her lips toward his. But, before she reached him, he stopped. He let their lower lips touch for a moment before speaking again, ”you sure you can handle it?’ Yes, he was referring to her asthma and was aware that the consequences may be bad, but it was too funny to pass up. Cassius was being so patient, it almost made Ondina smile. Because she knew he wasn’t patient. Not anymore anyway. She could see his desire to act in his eyes, but still he waited. Waited until she was done speaking.
His hand at her neck was like electricity, and she leaned into his touch. She wasn’t sure how to describe how Cassius made her feel. Love wasn’t the right word. It was a deep longing, constant desire. Almost obsession. It was an addiction, one she knew she couldn’t live without. ”Gladly.” she whispered back.
Cassius stopped just before kissing her, and practically taunted the girl. A spark of that anger from earlier reawakened in her eyes. ”If I can’t, it’s a good thing you’re a healer.” She finally breathed back. She wrapped her hands around the back of his neck and finished pressed her lips firmly against his.

She always knew what to say back to him, how to banter with him. He had never been with anyone who he could really be himself with and would be able to give it right back. It was exhilarating, to say the least. Finally their lips met and during this long string of kisses he pulled her even closer to him, as if he was going to lift her onto his lap. After another moment, he stopped kissing her briefly. "I'm serious though, are you okay?" awe, sweet gentle little Cassius often came out when Ondinas health was at stake. However, he didn't actually wait for an answer as he pulled her closer to kiss her more. He knew if he didn't put a stop to it he'd get lost there and not make it back to the hospital wing for his shift. She'd miss class or whatever else she had to do that day. Still, he didn't stop yet. He was hoping that she would be the stronger one in that sense... Ondina Nell Weasley

Ondina shifted as they kissed, moving closer to Cassius. This was a terrible idea. She’d just had an asthma attack after all! But did she care? Not in the slightest. That was the thing about Cassius. He made her not want to care. About what was right, or wrong, or even smart. When he was near she just wanted him, and to heck with everything else. She scowled as he pulled away, asking if she was okay. She opened to mouth to… well, basically shut up and kiss her, but he was pulling her back in before she could get the words out. She grinned against his lips, happy at his lack of self control in that moment.
Ondina was already planning on skipping her next class. She had to play the act of the heart broken girl after all! And she was extremely tempted to make him stay there with her. She knew she could. Easily. But Cassius couldn’t afford miss work. As much as she wished he could. But the girl didn’t pull away immediately. She kept kissing him her fingers laced through his hair. Finally her kisses started to trail away from his lips, following his jaw line before she pulled away completely though her hands didn’t move quite yet. She stared into those eyes so much like her own. ”Go. Before someone comes looking for me and catches you.”

He felt disappointment sink into his stomach as she pulled away from his lips and sighed a little as she kissed his jawline. When she pulled away he looked straight back into those eyes and raised an eyebrow at her. She was right, of course, that he had to leave before someone caught both of them. He frowned, lifting his right hand to gently catch a piece of her hair between his middle and pointer finger. But instead of tucking it behind her ear like in the cliché sense, he pulled it down so it was hanging in front of her face. He smiled, moving forward to kiss her forehead. "Fine. I'll be responsible. But I want you to come by later so we can..." he let a little smirk grow on his lips, "make sure your breathing is okay." He moved to stand, reaching a hand down to help her up as well. "See you later then?" he said, unlocking the door and slipping out.
