The time had finally come. One month ago Lily and Adrian had devised a plan to turn her into a wolf, and it had worked. She got out with minimal damage, just the permanent scar on her left arm from the bite. Currently, she was standing in her and Adrians secret meeting place in the forest. The had kind of turned it into a tree house of sorts, though it wasn't elevated. They had separate rooms considering the whole wolf transformation thing could make for some very awkward naked moments if they hadn't planned ahead. She was waiting in the center now, however, wanting to speak with him before the transformation happened. The whole day her eyes had been on the sky and as soon and darkness came her eyes were waiting for the moon, until this moment. No, currently she stood, sleeve rolled up in order to stare and admire the scar on her arm. Yup, it was pretty downright creepy the way she was staring at it and tracing the marks with her finger. @adrian

Adrian had come up with a brilliant plan.
He hadn't told Lily, and instead skipped half of his classes that day to put this plan into action. The entire afternoon he'd been in the Forbidden forest, a heavy sack in hand that slowly grew lighter and lighter. He was basically creating a... scavenger hunt for Lily. It was her first time changing, and his first without the potion. He didn't know what would happen, and while the trail would entertain their wolf selves, it would also, hopefully, keep them far from the school. They did NOT need to run into any students when they were off the Wolfsbane potion. There were enough Werewolves in the school as is! Here was hoping his half siblings didn't pick up the scent.
Finally, bag empty, he looked up. It was getting dark. The moon would rise soon. He'd better hurry.
He ran through the forest, weaving through the trees with ease that only came from years of exploring the place. It took no time at all to reach the makeshift fort he and Lily had made. She was already there, but hadn't spotted him yet. She looked... entranced. He stopped for a moment, watching her. There was an almost... ethereal glow to her, and he felt a sudden and strong desire to go to her. He didn't though. Instead he circled around, coming out behind their fort and scaling up on top of it. Scurrying across a log, he plopped down, his legs swinging over the edge. "Can you feel it coming?"

Suddenly, she heard a noise behind her and a familiar voice.
She flipped around to see her Adrian sitting atop the fort with his legs swung over the edge. She looked up at him, arms folding across her chest. "Yeah, I do. If by it you mean that annoying attitude of yours," she then stuck her tongue out at him and flipped around, suddenly feeling a pull to look back to the sky.
There it was. It was beautiful.
"All right, time to separate. Don't go ditching me," she glared with a dangerous little smirk. "What took you so long, anyway?" she asked, flipping around to face him once more. They had a few seconds, max, but she still needed to scold him.

Adrian just shrugged at her instant attitude. He was used to it, but she was unusually snippy with the full moon coming. "Hey, you happen to like that 'annoying attitude', otherwise you wouldn't be here." He retorted, smirking a little. Suddenly she was looking skyward again and Adrian felt a shudder run up his spine. He didn't need to look to know it was coming. Soon... Very soon. He pushed himself off the top of the fort, landing in a crouch on the ground a few feet from her. He rolled his shoulders as he stood. They were aching, burning. They didn't have much time.
When she asked what had taken so long, he grinned. A wide toothy grin. Oh, and look, his teeth were sharpening a little already. "You'll see. Can't spoil any surprises just yet." He felt a few bones pop a little. "Now if you have any sense of decency, which I doubt, you better hurry." That wide grin didn't go away as he turned, heading into the fort.
They'd designed it with a plan. Because the transformation didn't exactly like clothes, the fork was split into two halves. Ones was hers, the other his. So they didn't have to worry about the other seeing them in their birthday suits. The idea of seeing Lily naked would have made him blush if his bones weren't already burning as he ducked into his half of their fort. Stripping quickly, he cracked his knuckles. He felt the full transformation coming. He'd endured this his whole life, and knew the feeling well...
Like a dart he bolted out of the fort, his dark fur making him no more then a streak of darkness.
And thus began a night he was sure he, and Lily, would always remember.

He had a good point... not that she would admit to liking anything he did. She knew he had felt it too when he jumped down to land beside her. As he smiled her eyes widened and she almost took a step back. "Awe, nice face," she muttered as he started to go on to sort of not really explaining why he had taken so long to come to her. Lily didn't like to be kept waiting, a fact that he was acutely aware of she was sure. Still, since he knew that, he was probably doing something that was worth it. So, she made the decision to trust him.
At the mention of decency she placed both hands on her hips, about to make some snarky comment about how he should just stick around but he was already moving swiftly into his half of the fort.
And her body was already aching.
She turned and quickly moved through the branches into her own area of the fort. As she moved she felt... strange things happening. "Ah," she yelped as a bone made a loud sound. She barely made it into her part of the fort before she fell to her knees, hands slamming into the ground as the horrible sensation started and a scream erupted from her throat.
As suddenly as it had come, it was over, and a wolf streaked with white and orange had taken the girls place, her robes and clothes in shreds around her. Great, real smooth, Lils. Suddenly her senses were wildly stronger and she knew Adrian was on the move.
She bolted out of her own half of the fort, chasing the dark shape ahead of her. Even though he was hard to see, she still knew where she was. Even moreso than when they were in human form, she could sense him....
And she was catching up.

Adrian felt a little bad for not warning Lily about how the transformation actually hurt, but i was to be expected! You're body was literally changing against your will! Of course it wasn't a pleasant feeling! Only years of experience kept him silent. He did have a bad feeling though when he heard fabric tear. She hadn't gotten out of her clothes in time. Great.
Adrian ran, and ran, and ran. His powerful legs carrying him with speed humans couldn't match. The wind against his muzzle felt like a release. The strong smells assaulting is sensitive nose thrilling. But then he caught another scent. For a split second, his wolf mind forgot he wasn't alone. It smelled another wolf. He skidded to a stop, sniffing the air... then recognized it. Lily. Her scent was overpowering, moving quickly towards him. Only a moment later she broke through the brush, her sleek white and orange body finally appearing before him.
So that's what her inner wolf looked like.
He let out a howl. Long, loud. As if out of joy that his best friend was finally there.

She broke through and stopped running due to the fact that the dark wolf in front of her had stopped as well. As they made eye contact she couldn't help her heartbeat skip about for a moment. Then he was throwing his head back and letting out a howl and she couldn't help but join in. It felt amazing. Lily had always felt in necessary to be vocal about her joys, in quidditch, all the time. But that was nothing like this. She felt as if every emotion she had ever felt was suddenly bursting from her body, and she never wanted to stop.
However, the wolf in her was getting restless. She bent down, back legs straight and growled playfully at Adrian- challenging him. What did he have in store for her tonight? Perhaps a good little wrestle to start out? She was a brand new wolf, after all, and therefore didn't know her own strength. Granted, he was more practiced than she... well, she'd challenge him and see what he chose to do next.

Adrian's tail actually waged a little.
NO! BAD! He was supposed to be the experienced, older, wiser, bigger, faster.....You got the picture. But, he couldn't help it. He practically pranced, way to excited, before flatting himself on the ground. He looked like he was about to pounce on her. He inched forward. Slowly... slowly...his tail still betraying him as it waged. Of course he'd had plans for tonight. She was supposed to have caught the trail he'd made and followed it. But it seemed neither of them had noticed that strong scent of peanut butter yet. Because who didn't like peanut butter? He knew his wolf self loved it.
Without warning he leaped forward. He'd never wrestled with another animal in his werewolf state, so his jump was clumsy, but at least he had raw instinct to draw upon! How hard could it be to pin Lily?

Lily chuckled but it really came out as another short growl. Her own tail wagged as he inched toward her. She readied herself, taking on a stance to prepare for the oncoming attack - wait, was that peanut butter-AH. She was suddenly flattened to the ground and the big black wolf was on top of her, only the landing was slightly lopsided. She had dropped her game at the smell of the peanut butter. She growled, snapping at him once before shoving hard with all four legs to push him off of her and jump back onto all fours.
She was only there for a brief moment before wrapping her paws around his big black shoulders in an attempt to shove his back into a tree behind him. She let out another playful growl and playfully snapped her teeth at him once more. She knew the peanut butter was for her, though, and expected they would be going after it soon. After she established dominance.

HAH!
Adrian won. Totally won. He snapped back at her in retaliation, silently demanding she concede. That was when a mighty shove pushed him off. He hadn't even had any time to gloat! That wasn't fair. He dropped back into a pouncing stance, that tail still waging. But then she was back in the fray, paws on his shoulders to try and pin him against a tree. He felt his other shoulder rub against the bark, and snarled, barring that dangerous set of teeth of his. She snapped at him, and he snapped back. Rolling onto his back, he used his powerful back legs to push her off him, slinking back to all four.
They probably looked like they were trying to kill each other, if anyone saw them. But it was all in play. A bit of a dominance battle, but still play. That snarling, and kicking, and wrestling just felt.... normal. No, not normal. It felt amazing. Had he really been missing out on this awesomeness his entire life... or was it because it was Lily?
Letting out a snort, he pointed his nose in the direction they were both smelling the peanut butter, and sniffed deeply. Man, he loved peanut butter. Looking back at her, growled. As if ordering her to follow it. He'd spent half the day setting this up after all!

He was incredibly strong, she wasn't surprised by that one bit. She had managed to pin him to the tree for a brief moment before she was, very skilfully, pushed away. She growled again as she took another battle stance but it was clear wrestling time was over. The rebellion in her didn't want to go after the smell since he practically demanded she do it, but she was too curious. Plus, if Adrian had set up a little game then she couldn't deny him that. This was his night too, after all. They were a pack now. A family.
She didn't dwell on that thought for too long before taking off after the smell.
It wasn't too far off but it was enough to get her blood pumping and her heart racing again. Finally, she came to a stop and about fifteen feet in the air, hanging from a branch, was an opened jar of peanut butter. Lily sat, looking up at it and giving a slight whine for a moment. Then she bent her legs down and jumped in an attempt to swat the peanut butter down.

The Peanut butter was only the beginning of this scavenger hunt, but it was one of his favorites. He raced after her, his sleek form keeping up as she tracked the scent. Lily had gotten pretty good at using her nose as a human, but wolf senses were different, stronger. This sort of tracking was very different.
She was a natural though.
He followed her through the trees, those bright eyes of his fascinated at how quickly she picked up the trail and kept it. She tracked it all the way to the source, but that wasn't the fun part. Because you had to do more then track. He'd hung the jar from a tree, way to far up for their wolf bodies to reach. Adrian circled the tree and Lily, a sound that must have been a wolf laugh coming from him as he flashed those teeth again in an almost grin. What was she going to do? Would she figure it out? She jumped. Got some good air, but the distance was to much for them. leaping forward himself, he nicked at one of her back legs, that snarly laugh escaping again as he darted away. He was taunting her.

Lily knew Adrian was watching her, but she was trying to ignore him. He obviously had planned for her to get it down somehow, and she didn't want to ask him for help in any way. As he nicked at her legs and darted away, taunting her, she gave him a quick growl before an idea came to her.
She bent her knees once more and jumped, not toward the jar though but toward the tree. She pushed off the tree sort of like a second jump to propel her toward the hanging jar. Her teeth made contact with the jar and she brought it to the ground with her.
She ripping through it in one swift motion and began enjoying the contents. Once her face was covered with peanut butter she looked up at him with a goofy wolfy smile.

Adrian fully expected Lily to turn and snap at him for harassing her. But no, she was far too focused. Focused on solving the problem he’d created. He had to admit it, he was enjoying this. Watching her figure it out, the wheels turning in that little wolf head of hers.
She finally seemed to get the right idea though, using the tree as a spring board and get that last foot of air she was needing. The plastic bottle snapped as her teeth clamped down on it, and suddenly the smell of peanut butter was everything. Adrian sat there, tail waving as he inhaled deeply. Such a great smell. Oh how he wanted to dig into it… But no, this was her scavenger hunt. Adrian yipped loudly, and rolled onto his back. His wolf self was restless. A month being cooped up. He just wanted to keep running. Keep moving. To chase the night.

Awe, so he wasn't going to share with her? He had set all of this up just for her. She felt a strange pulsing in her heart for a moment but, of course, decided to ignore it. After a moment he yipped loudly and rolled onto his back. This made Lily roll her wolf eyes and take her sweet time finishing the jar to the best of her ability. Then, she tossed it aside and made her way over to him, casually at first before taking at a run and vaulting over him. As she did so, she threw her head back and let out another howl before landing on the other side of him. She spun to face him, eyes wide and tail wagging. Then, another scent caught her nose and she took at an instant run, going even deeper into the forest. in fact, she was almost sure this was the deepest she had ever gone... @adrian
