Andrew had a habit of not looking where he was going when he was excited about something, and boy was he excited. He had recently met another one of his siblings and she was the best one of all thus far. Ah, that was a rude thing to say... she was the nicest one of all! He hadn't really gotten a chance to contact Adrian, but he had kept it in mind. Jamie, his newfound sister, was all in for trying to get all the kids together to really bond and maybe talk things out a bit. He figured most of them were the only children in their house and therefore this meant having siblings would be new and exciting! At least to him...
So, he was skipping along Diagon Alley with that nonsense running through his brain. He didn't even notice the girl stepping out of the coffee shop. It was almost a perfect collision, the two of them smashing together like atoms. He pulled back, gasping, "oh, I am so sorry!" his strange Bulgarian/Chinese accent was thick due to the surprise.

▲ Liliana decided to take her free day off out of the house, instead of laying in bed. Granted, she was extremely tired, but she knew she spent too much time by herself in her apartment, and she had a few errands to run anyways. After taking a shower, she put her red hair up into a high ponytail. She put on some simple makeup, just mascara and eyeliner. Lili threw on a pair of black leggings, and her tall brown boots. She put on a light blue sweater with a brown jacket, and grabbed her wallet and made her way out the door. She had gone to Diagon Alley, and as it was extremely early in the morning, she made her first stop at a coffee shop. It smelled delicious when she stepped inside. There were plenty of people here, and she munched on a chocolate chip muffin she bought while she waited for her coffee to be made. That should hold her off until lunch time, maybe an early lunch. It was still slightly cold, but not too freezing. Her pale cheeks had a tinge of pink to them, but she didn't mind. Finally someone called her to tell her that her coffee was ready, and Liliana went and grabbed it and thanked them. As Lili made her way out the door, she unfortunately ran right into someone, not even realizing they had walked by. She heard a think, unusual accent and her eyes widened as she saw the man. "Oh, no it's my fault! I'm sorry I bumped into you, I should've been paying more attention." She noticed that he couldn't have been English, nor had she ever seen him before. @aaron ● 282 words ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

"No, no. My fault..." he muttered as he looked up into the eyes of the girl he was trying to knock down, apparently. "Let's just go with this- we both weren't looking and it was a happy collision. Eh?" he said with a little raise of both eyebrows. He felt bad that he hadn't been looking where he was going, but he was slightly glad that he was able to run into someone. Being somewhat new to the country, Aaron didn't have too many friends and... well, whatever meet-cute worked, right? "I'm Aaron," he pulled away from her in order to offer a hand in greeting @jill2

▲ Liliana looked at him as he spoke and she slightly rose an eyebrow. A happy collision? It made her smile all the matter. "Sure, sure, a happy collision; if that's what you'd like to call it." Lili chuckled a bit and looked him up and down, hoping it wasn't obvious. He seemed cute, however he also seemed quite goofy. He held out a hand and introduced himself as Aaron. Hmm. She herself grabbed his hand and shook it with a smile. "It's nice to meet you Aaron. I'm Liliana."@aaron ● 87 words ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

"Happy collision! Yes!" he said, chuckling at his own enthusiasm and her chuckle as well. They shook hand and Aaron sort of bowed his head gently. "What brings you to the Alley today?" he asked as he released his hand, placing both of his hands in the pockets of his jacket. He generally didn't have many days off but when he did he tried to be out and about. The last few times he had a day off he had spent it with his siblings, even if it was an accident most of the time. He was going to purposefully spend as much time with them as he possibly could, though, he just had to get to that point... @jill2

▲ He brought another laugh out of her and she shook her head slightly. A happy collision; what a sentence. He asked about what she was doing at Diagon Alley and she shrugged slightly. "Well, I really needed coffee of course. And I've just got a few things to buy for my flat actually. Just some things I've run out of. And yourself?" Liliana was trying to figure out who he was. He looked quite familiar but she couldn't put a face with a name. "I'm sorry, but do I know you?"@aaron ● 89 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

"Awe, yes, shopping is a very popular reason to come here because of... all of the shops, and whatnot. You know," he sighed, knowing he was clearly making a fool of himself. The she asked if he looked familiar and he bit his lip and gave a shrug, "erh, well, I'm a quidditch player. Do you follow quidditch?" he always hated this part, slash loved this part. Fame suited him, really. He liked getting to know people and there were always opportunities for discussion with fame. Granted, there was also the concern that they didn't care about him personally and just about his job. "I'm a seeker for Puddlemere United," he explained almost a little too quickly.

▲ Aaron seemed to not be too impressed with himself, however Liliana smiled at him. She didn't want him to feel uncomfortable, not at all. There wasn't anything to be uncomfortable about in the first place, and maybe he had just spaced for a moment. "Yes, but there's also a lot more things to do, like eat and have coffee and whatnot." Her lips turned up once more, hoping he felt a bit better. He bit his lip and Lili rose a brow at him. Now why'd he do that? He continued to spoke and she nodded her head. "Hm...maybe I do. I do enjoy Quidditch, well, watching it at least. I'm too afraid of heights to ever fly on a broom." She laughed awkwardly, hoping that wouldn't make him run away from her. @aaron ● 131 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

He nodded as she said there was a lot to do in town. Then he explained who she was and she said that she does enjoy watching Quidditch. As she went on to say she was frightful of heights, he couldn't help but let his jaw drop a little. He quickly brought it back to meet the top of his mouth again. He shrugged, "Hey, it's not for everybody. That's okay," he found himself shoving his hands back into his pockets. He was always acutely aware of the scars on his arms and neck and face whenever he was meeting someone new. Granted, he was wearing a long sleeved sweater to hide the worst of it, but he couldn't hide his face and neck that easily. Or his hands. "I have a fear of nargles, soooo..." he shrugged again, chuckling. Ever since moving to this country he had been trying to get caught up on all the news, and that included that fabulous Quibbler.
"I hope I'm not keeping you... can I... can I get you lunch, or something? Make up for my clumsiness?"

▲ Liliana watched his jaw drop and her eyes widened slightly. A small smile formed on her face; she expected that kind of reaction, especially from a Quidditch player. She noticed he quickly shoved his hands into his pockets, but she didn't say anything about it, she was just curious as to why. Lili's eyes studied him a moment longer and she internally shrugged to herself. Aaron brought up nargles and she gave a small laugh. "No worries, I'm not judging. Everyone has fears." Her brows rose at his offer to lunch. She really hadn't anything to do today, and so she nodded her head. "No, you're not keeping me. But I may take you up on that offer for lunch." She suddenly realized that she was quite hungry, and hey, if a boy was offering her food, she'd take it. @aaron ● 138 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

He smiled as she said she wasn't judging and was oddly surprised that she accepted his offer for lunch. He nodded, "Aal right then," he said with an even bigger smile, gesturing ahead toward the Leaky Cauldron at the end of the Alley. "So, Liliana, what do you do? I mean, what is your contribution to society?" he chuckled, knowing that was a strange way to phrase the question. He would feel bad if for some reason she felt like she was contributing and then he would have just made a fool of himself. Nah, he was over thinking it. His question was completely innocent!

▲ Aaron gestured towards The Leaky Cauldron and Liliana nodded her head at him. She continued to walk down the path that way with Aaron right beside her. She hoped this wasn't going to be too awkward, it was only lunch and she was hungry. But Lili would make sure that it would be completely comfortable and friendly. He questioned what her job was, she was guessing and she laughed. "Well, Aaron, I'm a Curse Breaker for Gringotts." That was normally the first thing that came up in conversation for Liliana, so it was a swift and easy answer, as was the explanation if needed. @aaron ● 103 ● notes MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0

Aarons eyes widened at her words, "Wow! That's an impressive place to be. You must be very talented," he said, nodded with approval. "My half-sister is a curse breaker. Odette Greyback, do you know her?" he asked. It would be interesting to hear someone else's impression of his sister... though he wouldn't ask about that outright. As they reached the cauldron he opened up the door for her, gesturing for her to go in ahead of him.

▲ Liliana saw his eyes widen and she laughed. That was the usual reaction from someone who has never met her before and didn't know much about her. "Yeah, I suppose it's impressive. I wouldn't say I'm talented but I do enjoy my work." It was a rough and stressful job, but in the end Lili enjoyed what she was doing and tended to have fun doing it. She walked inside as he gestured and immediately turned towards him when he mentioned Odette. "Odette is your sister? No way." What a small world this was. "Enjoying work is important," he added. As she turned toward him at the mention of Odette his eyes widened in surprise for a moment. "No way, really? Were you in the same house as her? Erh... Ravenclaw, wasn't it?" he still had a had time remembering all those Hogwarts Houses and their names. Still, he tried to at least remember his siblings. "Yeah, we're only half siblings but, she's cool," he added, leading her toward a table and pulling out a chair for her before sitting across. "She's a bit of a firecracker," he chuckled. He had only seen the woman twice now but she was quite the lady. He was the eldest sibling, as far as they all knew, and Odette was next in line. He was glad she didn't have to deal with being the eldest, he wasn't sure if she or his siblings could handle that...
