Well, they had finally done it. Finn, along with his best friends in the world, had graduated from Hogwarts. In the eyes of the Wizarding world they were full fledged adults now. The thought of being recognized as an adult made Finn laugh; he was the furthest thing from an adult. He liked horsing around, pulling pranks, and laughing at all times. He didn't want to think about being serious and...adult. But yet, he was increasingly excited about Auror training with Rai and Abby. He knew how tough it would be; Rai and he had been training by running laps around the Quidditch pitch for months now. He had already met the man who would be training them, and he seemed invested in their future. He felt that he was in good hands with Poet, and for now that was good enough for him. His parents had invited Poet to the party; he wondered if he'd show up.
His parents Lee and Alicia had put together an amazing party for Finn and his friends; Gryffindor scarlet and gold hung in banners, drapery and balloons everywhere, they had set up lawn games on the shores of their private beach; horseshoes, corn holes among them. Of course, per Finn's direct orders there was a ton of food; every cheese imaginable, mini hot dogs and hamburgers, sandwiches, big soft pretzels, corndogs, several varieties of chips & dips, salads for anyone who wanted to eat healthy, and a dozen varieties of sodas and other beverages. For dessert, they had set up a flowing chocolate fondue fountain sitting next to a fountain of butterbeer, plus every cookie, cupcake and candy imaginable (thanks to their connections at Weasley Wizarding Wheezes).
Finn came out through the sweeping glass back doors of his childhood home, rubbing his hands together and surveying the scene. This was exactly as they had planned for; this would be a night that none of them would ever forget.

Poe didn’t normally do parties. His work required a lot of time and a lot of focus, and going to parties ate up a lot of time, and wasn’t conducive to being able to concentrate on anything, especially if alcohol was involved. Poe wasn’t a heavy drinker by any means, but people noticed when you went to a bar and didn’t get a drink. They assumed you were pregnant or a prude, and considering Poe was not physically equipped to be the former, everyone assumed he was the latter. Poe wished sometimes that they were in the Muggle word, because no one got mad at the designated driver. As far as he could tell, wizards had no equivalent, because they could just Apparate home. How on earth they were capable of Apparition when smashed, Poe had no idea. The long and short of it was that Poe often forced himself to drink something even when he didn’t particularly want alcohol. Considering this was a party with recently-minted adults, Poe was more than a bit scared that it was going to devolve into a drunken revelry that no one else would remember in the morning. Only the fact that there were other adults at the party gave him hope. People wouldn’t want to get hammered in front of their parents and future teacher, would they? He certainly hoped not.
Finn’s parents had given him a time and address, and Poe intended to be there just as the party started, so if he needed to leave early, it wouldn’t seem as rude. When he arrived at the front door, it was propped open, presumably to let guests in. Stepping inside, Poe’s eyes were assaulted with scarlet and gold. He had forgotten that most of his trainees were Gryffindors this year. It was disheartening to see how attached they were to their former house, especially considering that was what it was now – former. There was something much bigger than house loyalty at stake in the real world, especially a world at war. He’d have time to talk about that with Finn later, though. He didn’t want to ruin the party with talk of such serious things. Approaching the host and his family, Poe nodded to Finn. “Good to see you again, Finn. Quite a party you’ve got here.” It sounded a tad facetious considering Poe was the first attendee present, but he was quite impressed with the whole aura created, aside from the obvious Gryffindor domination. Plus, there was a lot of food, and who could say no to that?

Rai was definitely a fan of parties. Not so much the alcoholic beverages, but she loved being surrounded with crowds just having a good time, especially dancing! Finns parents were fabulous, of course, and set up the graduation party for them with some help from Finn and his little gang of friends. Rai was happy to participate! She donned a pink dress and high black heels. She arrived early to mess around and help however she could and see people were arriving. Rai approached the first arrival and Poe as they greeted one another. "Hi! Welcome to the party!" she was possibly a little too ecstatic for her own good, but Rai was just happy to have so many friends in one place! Plus, new people! She smiled as more people seemed to slip in as well and waved to people as she stood beside Finn. "Aren't the Jordans amazing? So nice of them to host this party," she commented with her big loving eyes glancing about the room for Finns parents in order to give them that bright smile of hers. @finn @poet @everyone!!!

Anna was excited to go to Finn's party. Granted, she wasn't graduating, but she was excited for him. She could hardly believe that so many of her friends were about to leave Hogwarts! She was excited for them to begin their lives, but it would definitely be weird next year to not have them with her.
She walked in, looking at all the food and grinning. Of course there would be tons. She walked up to Finn. "Hey great party! Are you just so excited to start your training as an auror?" she asked, even though she knew the answer. She looked around the room at the people gathered and smiled.

Finn felt his spine straighten automatically as Poet Dimello walked into his backyard. He had invited him after he had found out he would be training the new Auror recruits, but he hadn't actually expected to come. “Thank you for coming, sir” he said, extending his hand to shake. He then gestured to his parents. “My mother and father, Lee and Alicia Jordan,” he introduced. Rai and Anna walked in then and he excused himself to bound over to the two of them. He threw his arms around each of them and gave a big grin. “Anna, glad you could come. Rai you're late,” he teased. He led them over to the food table, and piled his plate high.
“I am, very excited. Our new tutor is actually the man standing over there,” he told Anna in between swallows jerking his head towards Poe. “What about you, are you excited for seventh year?” he asked her, shoveling more food into his mouth.

Anna laughed when Finn led them over to the food table. Like that was a surprise ... not! It was so him. She turned to look when Finn nodded to the other side of the room. She wasn't sure what to think about the trainer, but then again ... she hadn't met the guy. And Finn seemed excited about it, so she was sure he was cool.
She smiled at his question, "Oh yeah! I mean ... I really hope this year is better than last year, but I like school. I think it'll still be fun, even though I'm going to miss you guys like crazy! It's definitely going to be weird being the oldest group in the school. Not used to that at all." She looked around the room. "So have you started the training yet or when do you start?"
