Anna was at the burrow once more. It wasn't really all that surprising, she actually spent most of her summers here growing up. However, this time she actually had plans. She was going to meet up with one of her cousins. Who knew what they were going to do, but whenever she got together with cousins she liked, it was definitely fun. Today Roxy was coming and Anna was excited. She hadn't seen her cousin since school ended and missed her.
Actually, Anna missed school in general. She missed learning and being with all of her friends. Now that she was back home, she felt like she didn't have much to do. Sure, there was summer homework, but she'd started that the first week of the break and now she was done. Boredom did bad things to her.
But no matter! At the moment she was outside, waiting for her cousin to arrive. Today would be a good day.

”Late, late, late” Roxy muttered to herself as she tore through her bedroom trying to find a show for her left foot. Well, not just any shoe, but the one that would match the shoe currently on her right foot. It would look awfully silly if she showed up wearing two different shoes. And it wasn’t exactly unlike Roxy to not be running on time. She frequently got distracted and then could never find anything she wanted to wear, which was probably partially blamed on the fact that it looked like a tornado had swept through her room and upended everything.
Finally, the blasted shoe appeared under a pile of sundresses and Roxy pulled it on and dashed downstairs. Today was very important. Today, she got to hang out with one of her favorite cousins; not that there were any she disliked, it was just that Anna was in the same year and house as Roxy and was so super cool and Roxy just simply adored her and missed her face. She couldn’t wait to catch up, so she called out a quick goodbye to her parents and shouted she’d be at the Burrow as she grabbed a handful of Floo Powder and tossed it into the fireplace. The familiar spinning sensation grabbed her, and once again Roxy counted down the days to her seventeenth birthday. It wouldn’t be much longer until she could apparate, and she couldn’t wait for that freedom.
Brushing herself as she hopped out of the fireplace at the Burrow, Roxy took a quick glance around the room. Not seeing anyone, she sprinted out the front door. The familiar mane of red hair quickly caught her eye, and with an excited shriek Roxy launched herself at her cousin.

Anna spun around, surprised but at the same time not surprised when she heard her cousin squeal. She laughed and toppled over when Roxy flew at her. She'd missed this. Missed being with enthusiastic people, her friends. Anna had to be one of the strangest teenagers in existence because she didn't like summer. She much preferred the school year, when she could be surrounded by her friends.
"Roxy, you all right there?" she teased once she'd finally got her composure back. She hadn't been ready for the "attack", though knowing her cousin, she should have been. "How has your vacation been so far?" Anna picked herself off the ground and sat down on a nearby bench. No doubt she and Roxy were about to do something incredibly fun. She might as well get the niceties out of the way first.
