it was hard to imagine being bored. he had never been so bored as he had in recent weeks. it was quiet, he wasn't working much and things seemed a little slow. he was in the casino that was also the headquarters for the purifiers. so he'd drawn a what could be resembled as a target on one of the walls in the hallway occupied by the purifiers only and he was throwing darts at it. making his own fun. god it was so petty. he blew out a breath as he yanked the darts from the wall and stepped back in order to throw them again, well he wasn't actually throwing them. they were hovering next to his head and with a wave of his finger they were launching themselves one by one at the middle of the target, it was fifty fifty on whether they hit the middle but all of them were hitting the target. not good enough, they all had to hit the middle. so he sent them again.

Ondina didn't spend much time at the Casino. Not because she didn't like the place, she did. Quite a bit. It was her sort of scene. But, her parents would grow suspicious if she was out to much. Today though, they were at her Grandparents, which meant she had he night to do whatever she wanted. And, unfortunately Cassius was busy. That was how she ended up at the Casino, mindlessly wandering with no real destination. She stopped just in time to have a dart fly a few feet in front of her. Then a second. She started walking again, and rounded the corner to find the source of the darts.
Nikolaj.
"That's dangerous."

"That's dangerous." nik smirked and raised a brow at the blonde haired kid before him. why were they all blonde. it seemed the kids that were still in school were mostly blonde. "you're in the wrong place if dangerous bothers you" he said simply as he tossed another dart into the air and flicked his hand toward it, sending it flying just above her head. if the fact the darts were pointy and able to hurt her were worrying her then he did think she was in the wrong place. he wondered why she was even part of their group actually. she was a weasley after all, weren't they for the greater good. blood equality and all that stupid nonsense.

"I didn't say it bothered me." Ondina retorted with her own eyebrow raising to match his. She knew that look. She'd gotten it more then once already. It was the look that questioned why she was here. It was a good question though. After all her own cousin was the Minister of Magic. Most of her family was muggle and muggle born lovers. Blood status and power meant absolutely nothing to them. Ondina had always been different though. Heck, none of the Weasley's had been Slytherins up until she and her two other cousins, all in the same year. That didn't mean much to most people though. Because the surname was still there. Weasley.
Ondina didn't flinch or even blink as the dart soared over her head this time. Instead she turned and pulled the dart from the wall, carefully turning it over between her fingers as she closed the distance between them, and held the dart out to him. "Do you think I'm in the wrong place?"

he watched her walk toward him and he folded his arms, the rest of the darts still hovering above their heads. he reached out and took the dart between his own fingers, letting it go as he mentally cast a spell on it so it would join the others above them. "Do you think I'm in the wrong place?" he did. he didn't think she belonged there. "yes" he said simply, no change in the expression on his face. "i think you followed someone here like a love sick puppy." he elaborated as he waved twin fingers to aim another of the darts at the board. "i mean, it's not like your family will just accept you back after this. is it?" he asked her, wondering if she even cared what her family thought. it made all the difference, you couldn't be loyal to people on the other side if you were on this side. it didn't work like that.

Ondina's eyebrows lifted in surprise at his quick response. Well, at least he was honest! As he continued she slowly started to smirk. love sick puppy? Well, she wouldn't use those words, exactly. But Cassius had played a role in her recruitment. He was only one piece though. There was much more to it. Before she could retaliate though, he was speaking once more. This time about her family. Ah. Yes. The Weasleys. Of course. That smirk widened even more as she leaned against the wall.
"Who said I wanted their acceptance?" Acceptance had never been her goal. Breaking free was. "I've lived in their shadow long enough. Besides-" She stopped, looking down to examine her nails as if disinterested in the topic. "Your sisters will probably have the same reaction as my own family."

"Who said I wanted their acceptance? I've lived in their shadow long enough. Besides-" he raised an eyebrow slightly as she leaned against the wall, seemingly wanting to continue talking to him. well he was that bored he couldn't see an issue with it. yet. "oh i get it. and what are you going to do when it gets too much for you? run back to mommy and daddy? put on a show?" he asked, wanting to know if she had thought about it. he knew, as much as he detested his father's actions that he would be welcomed home, he was their son after all. their heir. they couldn't turn him away. her family though, was different. "Your sisters will probably have the same reaction as my own family." he scoffed. what did his sisters have to do with anything? they knew what nik was. they knew what he was like. he wasn't hiding from them. if they knew anything about him they would be able to guess easily. "well .. me being here, won't be that surprising to them" he said as he folded his arms over his chest.

Ondina frown a little at his words. He was really having a hard time with the whole 'Weasley' thing. Accusing her of running back to her parents when it got to be too much. Glancing back up at him she tilted her head. "I don't run away." she retorted simply and calmly. How would her family react? Some of her cousins, of course, wouldn't be surprised. Albus especially. He'd always seen past her acting. But the more she thought about it, the more she realized how little she actually cared. If anything it almost made her smirk again.
Ondina didn't know much about the Lestrange siblings, just that they didn't get along. At least, the girls didn't. All three had been in separate houses, and last year the girls had become honorary Longbottoms. There'd been a few rumors about it, but Ondina hadn't really cared enough to hear them. "Maybe not. But won't you have to deal with their new family when they find out?" She smiled sweetly. She didn't like the Longbottoms much. Or at all. They fell under the same category as her family. Predictable. Moral. Boring.

"Maybe not. But won't you have to deal with their new family when they find out?" nik smirked and gave half a snort of laughter as he looked at the smaller blonde haired girl. why should he be worried about the longbottoms? nothing really stuck out enough to worry nik about them. "deal with what? a has been herbology teacher who can't even protect his own chilren .. let alone a school of them. there isn't anything to deal with" he said to her as he flicked another dart at the wall. rory had already moved into his apartment and andy was the only one still left within reach of the longbottoms, though he didn't think it was going to last long. andy was more like their father than she cared to admit and he was plenty sure her true colors would show through soon and she'd come to the realization she couldn't stay with them.

Ondina slowly smiled at his confident retort. ”Good point.” she responded. Though she didn’t know Nikolaj well, she liked his attitude. The confidence in himself and his choices. Not caring to hide his true nature. As she twirled a blonde lock between her fingers she continued speaking. ”What are you planning to do then?” What sort of person was Nikolaj when it came down to this sort of situation? Was he the sort to face things head on? Would he strike from the shadow? Or was he like her, the type to manipulate and get yourself close to your prey and then stab them in the back?

”Good point. What are you planning to do then?” he raised a brow and smirked. she was asking him to tell her his plan? well maybe not really but he wasn't about to divulge any information to her. as much as she said she was on their side, she was a weasley. it would take a little longer for him to come around to her being part of the group than another. the weasleys were famous for loyalty, even the most cold hearted of them. she'd have to show him otherwise before he revealed anything. "well it won't be sneaky" he said simply as he folded his arms over his chest. he wasn't the kind to sneak, unless it was the only option. which in this case, it wasn't.

Ondina just grinned at his words and his posture. He way he folded his arms. She could tell he didn’t trust her. She didn’t exactly blame him. After all, Weasley was a well known name. And one not typically associated with dark magic. ”Want to go out with a bang? I didn’t take you for the flamboyant type.” Ondina admitted. There wasn’t anything wrong with that. As long as his confidence didn’t turn to arrogance. ”Well, just remember. You aren’t the only one with a grudge against the Longbottom’s. You’ll find plenty of allies if you ever need any.” She didn’t outright offer her assistance, merely put the thought out there. She smirked right after, twirling a lock of her hair between her fingers as she closed the distance between herself and Nikolaj. Only when she was just a few breaths away did she speak once more. ”If, you are willing to let those individuals prove themselves. Sometimes ‘famous’ last names can be used to your advantage.” She whispered, before finally stepping away from him and turning to leave. ”Until next time, Nikolaj.” She offered as a farewell, before disappearing down the hall.
