Finn frowned slightly at Casey's words; Fred had been provoking Casey more than usual lately, but he supposed he could see both of his friends points. Secretly, he felt relieved that with Auror training ramping up he would be too busy to play moderator - let James be the peacekeeper. The two definitely would need to have a sit down soon to talk things out. Or a blow up, but Finn preferred to hope for the former.
Relieved and glad for the change of subject, he elbowed Casey gently in the elbows. "What, gotta keep your mind sharp for mediwizard training?" he teased, though he knew that was most likely why Casey wouldn't drink. Finn only planned on having one with James anyway; he had no idea what was in store for training the next day and he had to have his wits about him. Glancing back at Buckingham palace, he laughed a little as he saw the guards scampering about, bubbles still coming out of their tall hats. "Should we put some of them out of their misery?" he said, then pulled out his wand. "Finite!" he called, and all but one of the hats stopped emitting bubbles; perhaps that hat was too far away, but Finn still found it hilarious.
They walked into the Hard Rock Cafe and took seats at the bar. There was a semi-decent crowd for the time of night, and a bartender came up to them right away. "I'll have a Twist & Shout Shake," he ordered, looking at the twisted milkshake menu fondly. He looked up at James and Casey. "Your turn lads," he told them with a grin.

James wore a somewhat somber expression. He hated seeing two of his very best friends arguing. Things were different, he knew, and that was likely why they were lashing out at one another. They were growing up and moving out into the adult world. James knew from first hand experience that when something was bothering, you sometimes tended to take it out on the people you loved most. He did that plenty with Albus and Alice to know better now. He knew he had to talk to them but he figured he should do it separately, another time.
As Finn pointed his wand at the guards and their bubbles all stopped spouting out except for one, James let out a laugh. "Oh, the joys of being of age," he let out a sigh. It really did come with its perks; and picking on innocent guards just happened to be one of them. James scoured the menu as Finn ordered his drink. James was still looking, however, when the waitor brough Finn his drink. Upon seeing the milkshake with the bacon on top, James's eyes widened and he immediately felt his mouth begin to water. "That. I'll take that." He told the waitor, pointing at Finn's drink.
James sat back and awaited his drink. "So, have you lot seen anyone from school since we left?"
