❊ tell you what, I don't know ❊ Lucy was quite not confused, when Peter has called everyone to the Leaky cauldron. She was expecting to hear something of this sort for quite some time, as the end of their summer break was near. She has been spending time with her mother at the castle, and couldn't meet him or any of her siblings much. She knew that it was not fair but she wanted to spend some time with her mother as she was missing her at school. Getting ready for the day, which was going to contain quite some confrontations, may be some arguments and a whole lot of drama. That was when she realised that it was good, he selected the Leaky, so as to not get disturbance from the paparazzi. Sometimes she wondered why they wouldn't leave them alone, but that seemed always impossible. Speaking of paps, she thought back to the article which had Peter and his new girlfriend, Isla. She was a bit surprised to read it in the article first than to hear it from him, nevertheless she was quite happy that Peter found a certain some one. She went to the Leaky and sure enough it was busy. She looked around hoping to find any of her siblings, but no one was still there. She knew she was on time, and wondered where the others where. She began to make her way to the table farthest from the usual crowd and settled down. She hummed out a tune softly as she waited for them to arrive. Edmund entered the Leaky Cauldron from the backside, since he'd recently been in Diagon Alley. He was in an unfortunately foul mood due to some unwanted events that just took place. This didn't bode well. Will called this meeting, obviously to talk to his siblings before they went to school, probably to tell them what to do in certain situations. Honestly, Ed only came so that he wouldn't be left out on what Will was planning. He was almost convinced that he wasn't going to agree with what was said, except maybe by Susan. Their relationship was growing, but new, so he wasn't sure what to expect from her. Either way, Edmund was determined to do his best to keep his temper under control. He might leave early, but he didn't want a shouting match with Will. That was the goal, but who knew if he'd actually reach it. He saw Lucy sitting at an isolated table and exhaled in relief. At least he got here before Will. That meant he could choose his seat. He sat in a seat that had his back to the wall, but was also at the end of the table. This way, if things started going south, he could leave without having to climb over anyone. What? It didn't hurt to be prepared. "Hey Luce," he said as he sat down. "Guess we beat Will and Sus, eh?" Edmund plastered on a fake smile. He wasn't in a cheerful mood, but his family didn't need to know about his problems. They'd never found out about this particular one before, so why should it be any different now? @lucyw (sorry, no promises about not starting a fight ... but I'll do my best) @susanvictoria @william

In the few days leading up to their return to Hogwarts, Hannah had given Susan the days off - she could have worked if she wanted to but she wanted to spend some time with Andy and some of her other London based friends before heading off to school. So when her brother William had requested the four of them meet before, she had suggested the Leaky Cauldron as a place. It was only witches and wizards, and with Will still being hounded by the media due to Isla, it would be the perfect escape from photographers prying eyes. He'd be apparating to behind the Cauldron by the entrance of Diagon Alley so the paparazzi wouldn't follow him. She had been in her room getting ready when she spotted the clock and sighed. She was supposed to have been downstairs five minutes ago. Typical, the one time where she should have been early, she had overslept and made herself late.
Glancing at her reflection one last time, she headed downstairs and almost immediately spotted two of her three siblings sitting by a table. Smiling brightly, she strolled over and gave her little sister a big hug. "Hello Lu," she said, then reached over and ruffled Edmunds hair, even though she knew he didn't like it. "And Ed," she said with a laugh, and sat down. She looked around and saw the eldest of the brood had not arrived yet. "Will still trying to evade the paps?" she asked good-naturedly.

Will gave his siblings a chance to get there and get a bit settled before he showed up. He'd rather they be relaxed before having this conversation. He arrived just a few minutes after their designated meeting time and was happy to see that they were all settled at a table together already. He smiled as he walked towards them, reaching them just as Susan asked if Will was still trying to avoid the papes. He chuckled, "who'd want to get caught sitting with this crowd?" he joked, gesturing to his siblings. He leaned forward to kiss Susan on the top of the head before moving around to sit by Lucy, putting an arm around her. Ed got a nod from him and a smile. "Thank for coming, guys. I can't believe you all go to school this week," he shook his head. Every time they left without him he got an insane sense of nerves. He was the man of the house, after all. "Susan, you been enjoying working here?" he asked, hoping to get some small talk in before getting down to business. @susanvictoria @lucyw @edmund

❊ tell you what, i don't know ❊ Lucy stopped her humming, when she heard the voice of her brother, Edmund. She gave him a smile and spoke "hello brother o mine, how are you today?" She looked around the place hoping to find her two other siblings, but they weren't in sight. She knew that Susan worked at the leaky, but was on a holiday and of she guessed correct, then Peter will be hounded by the paps. As Edmund spoke, she gave a nod and said "We sure did beat them to first. But I don't know what's keeping them today." She looked on and was greeted with the presence of her sister Susan who looked as beautiful as ever. She returned back the hug and said "hey Susie, you are late" she said in a sing-song voice. As Susan mentioned about paps, Lucy's eyes began to dart back and forth the whole place as she searched for any one. She gave a shrug at Susan's question and said "may be. But I hope he is okay." Of all the siblings, it was no secret that Lucy loved her big brother more and she always like to be with him and talk to him. Ever since he left Hogwarts, she began to feel a little lonely Edmund and Susan have always been there for her. But no one could ever replace Peter for her. Lucy looked up at the cheerful voice of her favorite brother and watched as he commented about them. She pouted a little and said "yeah, you wouldn't want to be seen. But I don't mind being with you on the front page". It always was a news to the paps whenever they could find any of the royal family outside and more if it was Peter. She relaxed against him as he placed his arm around her. She looked up at him and said "of course we would come, won't we?"she said looking at her other siblings. Sometimes, she felt like the only person who ever understood all the three of them. She nodded her head and spoke "well, it is good thing we are going back, as I totally am missing being a witch." She loved both her lives but some times, the life as the member of royal family was a bit too much for her. She felt out of place when she couldn't use magic and can;t read books and practice spells. Those things have become a part of her as she grew up. She looked at Susan waiting for her to talk. WORDS: 426 TAGS: @edmund , @susanvictoria , @william

Edmund shrugged when Lucy asked how he was doing. "Oh you know, I'm fine," he answered noncommittally. He doubted she'd be convinced by his answer. She might even realize something was wrong, but hopefully Susan or Will would arrive before she had time to grill him on it. "They probably just want to make a grand entrance," Ed answered with a small smile, since both of them knew it wasn't true. "Just kidding. They're probably on their way right now. Don't worry."
Then Susan was there, ruffling his hair. Probably just because she could. Edmund rolled his eyes at her instead of getting angry. He was trying to keep his cool, especially before Will got here. Edmund ignored Lucy's concern about Peter. He'd be here soon. Before they could even finish talking about it, Will showed up. He nodded at Ed, who nodded back slowly, not that Will was paying attention. It didn't matter though.
"I'm here, aren't I?" Ed said, giving a small smile to lighten his words. He didn't want everyone to think that he was already being a grump. Even though he was. "And I can't wait to get back either," he said to Lucy. Then he sat back in his chair and waited. Obviously there was a reason Will asked them to meet. And it wasn't so he could ask how they're doing. Edmund really wasn't in the mood for chitchat. He was going to wait for the real stuff.

Susan smiled at her siblings. "I know I was late Luce, my alarm didn't go off this morning," she said, reaching out and gently tugging her sisters hair. She saw Will come in the back entrance; she was glad she had recommended it to him as she glanced out the window and saw several papparazzi pass by, cameras in hand. It didn't necessarily mean they were looking for Wil, they could have been looking for one of her other cousins, or any London based celebrity. All the same, best for everyone involved that they didn't see Will disappear into a wizarding pub. "I actually love working here. It's taught me so much in such a small amount of time. Not just what you'd think; waitressing, cleaning dishes, and the likes, but how people who don't have much money live and survive on their own," she said happily. And so it had been quite a fascinating summer, she had even grown to have a grudging respect for Raleigh Flint of all people. Now though was not the time to think of that; Will had called them here for a reason other than idle chitchat. She looked at him pointedly. "I am guessing you didn't call us here because you wanted to know how I found working at the Leaky Cauldron?" she asked pointedly.

At Lucy’s little choke about the front page, Wills heart stopped for a second. He and Isla had been on the front page of the muggle tabloids a few months ago. He wasn’t sure if it was a reference to that or not, but it still caused him to look up at Susan with a mischievous grin. Of course we would come, won’t we? Lucy said and Peter smiled down at her, ”I would hope so,” he chuckled, then he glanced at Ed when his brother spoke. He really didn’t know if Ed would, so that was where the happy surprise came from.
The more time Will spent with his siblings the more it he was made painfully aware of the fact that he was probably the only one who was interested in playing a bigger part in the muggle world. That just made his sense of duty even stronger in that regard, and the thought caused him to sigh.
”Susan, that’s great news,” he said with a genuine grin. He really was glad to see her growing up and doing things on her own, like having a job. She called him out on making small talk rather than getting to the point. He cleared his throat, smiling still, and sat up straighter. ”I wanted to talk to you guys about a few things. First thing, I think I talked mom down from being so worried about you at school this year. Just don’t get attacked by those freaks, okay?” he said, his tone slightly changed to a more serious one at the last part there.
”Second thing,” he started once they all got their words in on the first item of business, ”I wanted to discuss something with you about myself. I mean, a decision I want to make for myself, but I need your advice,” he started.
