hey there vinnie!
I know I didn't really ask you if I could do this, but I decided to bite the bullet and send you a letter at Hogwarts. I've been thinking about you a lot some lately and I thought that maybe I could offer you some help in your Transfiguration classes, since, you know, I'm pretty good at that. Since I'm an Animagus. (What I really hate about letters is that I can't even use the excuse that your pretty face is distracting me - though it most certainly is, in my mind.)
I hope you don't mind that this letter was delivered by doves and not an owl. My owl is busy handling all the letters I wrote to my sisters, and I'd hate to add to his burden. The doves were nearby and kind enough to offer their services to me since I told them that I really like you. If you could give them some bread crumbs or something, I'm sure they'd appreciate it. yours, dustin (bainbridge)

Dear, Dear Dustin,
My, my, you are just so full of surprises. Do you ever run out? Is that, like, some hidden Animagus ability? If it is, I may just take you up on that offer for help. What better way to learn than from the master, after all? Hm... I guess you've found your way into my mind a bit too, lately. Is that another one of your secret abilities? Can never be too sure.... you are full of surprises, after all. (What I really hate about letters is that they can't really show the faces of the writer... which, mine is rolling its eyes pretty hard right now.)
Well, I had a lot of explaining as to why doves were dropping off a letter. So, basically my secret love affair with a Prince was no longer a secret since, you know, sending doves made me look like royalty. Luckily, the doves came at a good time, as I did have some leftover toast to offer them so. Your workers are still happily employed!
So, do you make it to Hogsmeade often?
Nott Yours, Viovinnia (Nott)

hey there vinnie!
If I told you if I ran out surprises, that would ruin the surprise, wouldn’t it? As for finding my way into people’s heads: I’ve found that only really happens with the people that like me a lot. You know, little sisters, Quidditch fans, groupies, etc. I know you’re not my little sister (because that would make the kissing stuff a little weird), and I don’t think I could pay you to come to a Quidditch game other than mine, so I guess you must be a groupie. How does that make you feel?
As per request, I have not sent doves this time – I thought that parrots were more fitting for an exotic prince. Maybe you can tell your friends that you’re in love with African royalty or something. You’d get a lot of jealousy, you know. Parrots don’t like toast that much, but if you have some fruit, I would appreciate it if you could give it to them. Don’t want a bird rebellion, you know.
I’ll make it to Hogsmeade as often as you want, Vinnie. Just give me a time and a place and I’ll be there. yours, dustin

Hi Dustin,
Hm... maybe a being a groupie doesn't sound so bad. I mean, I haven't seen too many others at your games so that must make me, like, the lead groupie right? I can live with that.
Well, the doves were definitely more subtle. But I am convinced you take some weird pride in knowing you are embarrassing me... Either way, my friends did hear about these parrots and I took your advice and told them about my dating an African prince. Don't know if they believe me (probably not) but you may just have to send me some cool African souvenirs as proof. (Your parrots enjoyed some delicious fruit, by the way. Don't worry.)
How's this weekend? We've got a visit and I've got no plans.
Nott Yours, Viovinnia @dustin Figured this could have been the lead up to their Puddifoot date.

hey there vinnie!
If you haven’t seen groupies at my games, maybe you’re not looking hard enough. Seeing as you are my favorite groupie, I think that you could easily ascend to the position of lead. Though what would all your friends say about you being my lead groupie? I wouldn’t think they’d be pleased by that.
Okay. Subtle. Are these pigeons subtle enough? You know, I thought they lacked a lot of romance, but they are “subtle”, as you say. I’m a Gryffindor. We don’t really do that kind of thing, so I’m going to need some pointers. It’s too bad they didn’t believe my African prince story, though. They would have been really confused if they ever met me, seeing as I’m…not African. I’ll see if I can find some African souvenirs, though! (I trust in your ability to choose which food to give to pigeons. If not, I’m going to doubt your intellect for the rest of time.)
This weekend sounds just fine. Meet me in front of the tea shop. yours, dustin
