When Caroline had heard of the Tri-Wizard Tournament being held at Hogwarts, she was a little less than thrilled. More students meant more illnesses and more illnesses meant more filled beds. She already knew she would have to have three students to worry about during the tasks, constantly fearing injury for them. If it had been up to Caroline, she would have declined the hosting but as it were, it was not up to Caroline. Fortunately enough, St. Mungo's would be sending over extra help to be on standby during the tasks. But Caroline already knew she would want them behind her, ready to take orders from her and not on their own. These students were her own to take care of, no one else's.
No one except Aleksander and Cassius, of course. Caroline's two nurses that were always there to help. Again, if it were up to Caroline, she would have just rathered her own team always be on standby to help. They knew most of these students more than any stranger. But, Caroline had to be open to the possibilities that the champions may need more advanced medical care. Not that Caroline and the guys couldn't give it to them, but whoever St. Mungo's sent over was more qualified. Plus, Caroline didn't even know if she would want to go watch the tasks. She always preferred staying in her hospital in case any sick or injured student found themselves in her care.
It was early, the first full day everyone was back at Hogwarts. She hadn't seen the guys since last night but figured she would let them take their time getting to the Wing today. Not many students turned up ill the first day save a few first years who showed up by accident, lost or first years that brewed a potion wrong or found themselves accidentally blowing up a feather in charms class. So far, no one had wandered into the Hospital Wing so Caroline was going about her day as usual, humming a little tune as she put three signs at the end of three beds that read "Beauxbatons," "Hogwarts," and "Durmstrang" respectively. She was preparing herself. She was going to have these three beds reserved just for those champions. Though she hoped they wouldn't need them.

Cassius had woken up early and was already in his little office when he heard Caroline enter the wing. He didn't come out right away, finishing up what he was working on first. He was pretty happy to be back at work, in all honesty. As much as he hated the structure of having a job, this one was always interesting. Especially this year when the tournament would most likely be bringing some interesting medical challenges into their hands. He was pretty thrilled to see what sort of crazy things he'd have to work on. That was the reason he studied medicine, after all, to handle all the challenges and see all the new and unexpected things, You got some pretty goofy stuff at Hogwarts, but eventually he would move onto Saint Mungos he was sure. Probably after Ondina graduated...
That thought gave him pause. That meant he'd only be at the school one more year if he went on her schedule. When he realized what he was doing, scheduling his life around hers he quickly stood, shook his head and placed both hands on the desk. After a few deep breaths he finally stepped out of his office.
The signs with the school names over the three beds were the first things that caught his eye. He smiled, amused. "Ah, preparing for the chaos ahead?" he said, crossing toward Caroline, "can I help?"

@caroline & @cassius he'd spent the last few days getting himself familiar with the hospital wing and the area surrounding the long room on the first floor of hogwarts. the school was different to durmstrang, it was taking a while to get used to the idea of being back in a school environment but he wouldn't change his career choice if he could. he was here with his family and that meant more than potions to him. he did think with some sadness about the job he had left and loved, making potions was his calling. he was still going to do it when he could, hopefully bring some of the medicinal ones he had been working on to the school. though he missed his old job it wouldn't mean that he'd not give one hundered percent to being a nurse at hogwarts. he walked into the wing and whistled a soft tune as he spotted caroline and cassius standing at the end of three beds. he made his way over to them, worried he was missing some sort of staff meeting but he couldn't recall having heard anything about it. he stopped at the beds and saw the names over their heads and smiled slightly. caroline was a smart woman. as much as he wanted to think the students would be okay, he was almost certain these beds would see a lot of use. he touched his fingers to the blanket on the durstrang bed and looked at his co-workers. "lets hope the champions do not need these"

It was a sobering thought to picture students in these beds, so just as quickly as the thought had appeared, Caroline expelled it from her mind, and the joining of Cassius made that easier. "Indeed," Caro looked up at him with a small smile. "I think that's all we can do for now. Aside from ready ourselves for the amount of work we will be doing this year." She let out a sigh.
Caroline smiled lightly as Aleksander joined she and Cassius. She let out a slight chuckle at the young nurse's words. "Yes, let us hope," she sighed once more. "Will you boys be attending the tasks this year?" She asked, still smiling at the two young nurses.

Cassius nodded as she said that was all they could do for now and sighed along with her as she said they would have a lot of work to do. "Having a fourth member should help us out," he added, since Hannah Longbottom had been hired on for this year. The Aleks joined them and he hoped that they wouldn't have much use for the beds... Cass hoped the opposite. most healers wanted things to be preventative but Cass was rather the opposite. He wanted to see things take their course, study them, and then address them when necessary. He thought medicines and injuries were both fascinating in their own ways. But you couldn't have medicine without the other. "I'm sure I'll attend the tasks on standby, unless you prefer one of us stay here, I don't mind either way," he really didn't, too. He didn't mind the 'in the moment' patch up type healing, but he preferred the deep stuff, under the surface, under surveillance and time.

@caroline & @cassius "Will you boys be attending the tasks this year?" sasha had not been planning on watching the events unless he had been told he needed to be there encase one of the students was injured and needed medical attention. he had seen enough of them when his brother had been competing and he was sure he'd get the gist of what happened from the excited students he met in the halls. "only if we are required" he said with a slight smile as he leaned on the foot of the bed for the durmstrang champion. "I'm sure I'll attend the tasks on standby, unless you prefer one of us stay here, I don't mind either way," he nodded slightly, it seemed cassius had the same way of thinking that he did. though sasha would be happy to stay in the hospital wing if there was an event that cassius wanted to watch. "i saw enough of the tri wizard tournament when my brother competed .. i'll be happy if i don't watch again" he said as he looked at them.

Caroline let out a sigh of relief at the mention of a fourth person. "Ah, yes," she breathed. "Hannah is a very nice woman. Has quite a bit of experience too. After all, having a child like young Jayden Longbottom, I'm sure you'd have to," she attempted a light hearted joke with a small smile. The youngest Longbottom did seem to always be getting into trouble. Of course, he had been attacked last year as well. So, Caroline could see why Hannah wanted to be close to the school this year with her three boys.
The Hufflepuff alum was fairly pleased with the nurses' answers. "Well then," Caro said aloud as if making a decision. "I know I probably won't be going at all, myself. I'm worrying about those students enough as is," she took in an exasperated breath. "But I think it would do if two of us were to attend the tasks, and two were to stay here." She raised her eyebrows at the boys for their input.
@cassius @aleksander I don't know Hannah's account to tag her!!

Cass nodded as Caro commented on Jayden, and he chuckled as well. "All those kids, really," he joked back. Phil and Alice seemed pretty tame, but he was sure they had their share of injuries.
Sasha didn't seem to care much about the tasks, which was fine. They both knew they had more important things to do. Sasha said he was fine not to watch again, since the year his brother won.
"Well, if Hannah is up for it then she and I can go," he suggested.
