Aaron swore in Portugese. So he was right. Elias had recognized the wolfsbane potion and, of his own volition, admitted to drinking it, too. Which meant he was just like Aaron. He smartly ignored to comment about his indulgence for the potion - he'd heard enough quips about his addiction to last a lifetime. His heart was sinking. He was hoping that Elias would be like Max and Odette, tainted of blood but completely harmless. But, no. Father dearest had come back for another son. Aaron swore again.
He nodded absently when Elias asked for another drink and went about fixing it. The boy had probably had enough alcohol for the day, so Aaron went to work pouring a butterbeer, the typical favorite of the pub's customers. All the while, he was still rapidly cursing under his breath. Aaron had never been a violent person by nature, but at that moment, he wanted to track down Fenrir Greyback and kill the bastard. He dug around under the counter for another wolfsbane potion and down it in a single gulp. While he was crouched under the bar, he counted his remaining potions. He would need to make a trip to St. Mungo's sooner or later. If any more siblings popped up out of nowhere and ended up at his bar, it would probably be sooner.
He stood back up and brushed himself off, letting the potion take effect. He carefully placed the fresh mug before Elias, trying to control his trembling hand. He pulled up the chair behind the bar that he hardly ever used and sat down. He was going to have a coronary if he tried to stand through anymore surprises. "So tell me about yourself, Elias." His voice was still a little harder than it should have been, but the potion would take care of that. It always did.

@aaron <3 Elias was shocked to hear silence from Aaron. He hadn't expected nothing from him; he had expected an entire ramble like he had gotten with Jamie and Odette. However, Aaron seemed more...calm about everything. He seemed very collected. That was, until he swore. Elias' eyebrows rose. Aaron had sworn twice, and Elias didn't really have the heart to tell him that he knew exactly what he was saying. His cousin, Maria, spoke Portuguese constantly, and Elias had learned a few things here and there from her. Including Aaron's current choice words.
Then he nodded and turned around to make him another drink...which Elias figured to be a butterbeer, and he was glad to have one. They were absolutely delicious, and they were always his go to drink. Eli was curious if Aaron felt bad about giving him alcohol, but maybe he didn't care. Either way, he continued to swear, and Elias continued to understand him either way. "I uh...I know what you're saying..." His voice was quiet, not wanting to offend Aaron in any way.
As he brought over the butterbeer, Elias took a sip of it and smiled gently at him and shrugged. "Well, I-I'm 17. I go to Durmstrang...here for the Tournament. Live in Bulgaria with my mum, and well, my only real friend is my cousin Maria...who I learned Portuguese from." Aaron seemed agitated, which Elias did not want to make worse. He wanted to get along with his siblings, and although Jamie might make that more difficult, Elias wanted to make it easy.

Aaron raised an eyebrow when Elias mentioned that he could understand the swearing. That was a new one. The boy didn't look particularly Brazilian, but Portuguese was a widely spoken language. He could've picked it up anywhere, and Aaron wasn't one to judge. He always switched to Portuguese when he didn't want someone to understand him, but he would have to refrain from that if Elias could understand him. The last thing he wanted was for his brother to hear him cursing like a sailor. It was bad enough when he did it in front of Jamie. She couldn't understand the words, but he was sure she had figured out the gist by now.
The potion was finally starting to take effect. Aaron felt himself relaxing, and he poured himself another drink. His tab was going to be ridiculous by the time this little shindig was over. He nodded casually as Elias described himself, smiling a little. His smile twitched when Elias brought up Maria. Aaron had heard plenty about the girl from Jamie, though he didn't know how much of it was legitimate. He tended not to judge someone, especially someone deemed "crazy" until he could verify the alleged craziness for himself. But apparently she was the one who taught Elias Portuguese. That was annoying. There went Aaron's safe place.
He pushed the thoughts out of his head. Now wasn't the time to dwell on such things. "Are you excited about the Tournament? Jamie told me about it - she's also our sister. Apparently it's a pretty big deal around here. There hasn't been one in awhile because students kept dying, I was told," he said conversationally. He really didn't understand why Hogwarts would host such a dangerous tournament or why people would be so excited about it, and part of him was glad nothing similar had been offered at Castelobruxo.

@aaron <3 At Aaron's raised eyebrow, Elias felt like he should explain. Granted, he wasn't Brazilian or Portuguese, but that didn't mean he couldn't learn it. And although he only knew a few choice swear words and some simple sentences, it wasn't like he could completely converse with Aaron in Portuguese. "I'm not Portuguese...I'm Bulgarian." He gave Aaron a small smile, not sure how else to continue with the conversation.
Elias watched Aaron pour himself another drink and he was curious if he got all of that for free. It would be amusing, but it would also be a bit worrisome. Having free alcohol at your disposal was not the best thing; if anyone was smart they would know that would create a bigger problem than any of the ones they had. As Elias thought about this, his mind was brought back to Aaron drinking the Wolfsbane Potion constantly. It confused him; it of course made him feel great in the long run and quite calm, but...he didn't think it was something that a person should drink everyday whenever something happened.
"Yeah, I'm definitely excited. I hope I get chosen, it seems fun. And I heard the same...I suppose the last tournament no one died. The guy who won is a Professor at Hogwarts this year." Elias knew of all the Durmstrang students entering. There weren't many, so he hoped he was picked out of the goblet. It was definitely stressful, waiting for Halloween. But Eli knew it would be worth it. Aaron's mention of Jamie made Elias huff in anger. That was not who he wanted to speak about. "Yeah. I've met her."

Aaron chuckled, mostly to himself. He could only imagine what would happen if both Elias and Jamie were chosen as champions. He knew Jamie wasn't too fond of Elias, so the competition would either put her in a better mood or make her hate him even more. Regardless, Aaron expected a few testy letters in his future. There was still some time before the champions would be announced, but he knew it would work Jamie's nerves until she got an answer. He could tell from the noise Elias made that the dislike wasn't just one-sided.
"It was great to finally meet you, Elias," he said, grabbing his dirty cup and wiping at it with a rag. He would have to put it under the bar with his potions to remind himself not to give it to a customer. "I hate to do this, but I have to get back to work. Maybe you can stop by again." He smiled broadly, but he felt a little weariness. How many more siblings would he discover he had? How far did his father's legacy extend? They were questions he didn't have an answer to and didn't really have time to worry about. "Welcome to the family," he concluded.
