Wednesday morning. Her day off. And Magdalena planned on spending it sleeping. She worked nights, after all. Most the time, she didn't get home until two... three... sometimes even four in the morning. Which meant mornings were not her friend, because all she wanted to do was sleep. The later, the better.
She'd gotten in pretty late last night. There'd been a brawl in the club, and a couple of the dancers got caught in the middle of it. She'd gotten out of it mostly unscathed except for a small sprained ankle, one of the other dancers hadn't been so lucky. Magdalena had had to take the other girl to St. Mungos, and didn't get to her apartment until almost five in the morning. All she wanted to do now was sleep it off. Fate was cruel though, because just after 11am, she heard loud knocking on the apartment door. She grumbled, sitting up as she tried to figure out what was going on. She'd managed to get her hair in a messy braid the night before, but she hadn't managed to make it into her pajams. She never did. Most nights she just slept in her underwear. IT wasn't like anyone would see, after all. Last night.... well this morning had been one of those times. She was sitting up for only a moment before realizing who it had to be. Nikolai. It was Wednesday morning. Of course.
That thought got her curling back on her side, yanking the blanket over her head and trying to go back to sleep. "Come back later, Nikolai!" She yelled, hoping the muffled shout would reach him at the door. She did not want to get up.

@magdalena <3 Nikolai had a long day ahead of him. Not only was he going to attempt to get Magdalena a new job, but he had to have the great job of waking her up. He didn't know how she did with mornings, but the last time had had caught her in the morning, she had got up on her own. This time...Niko was sure he'd have to be the one to get her up. Why, he didn't know. But he could just feel it.
Before leaving his house he had taken a quick shower, but left his hair to dry naturally on it's own instead of slicking it back with gel. He threw on a maroon colored long sleeved t-shirt and a pair of black jeans, with black boots. He looked...very handsome, to say the least. However, Niko did stop at a café on the way to her place. He figured she'd probably want food, and not to have to cook. Getting a coffee for himself and her, he also got a package of four muffins and two breakfast sandwiches. As soon as he got to her apartment and knocked, he heard nothing. And then...ah, there she was.
He couldn't help but laugh at her response. He wasn't going to leave. Trying to hold everything at once, he pulled out his wand and pointed it at the door knob. "Alohomora." Niko heard the click, and as he put his wand back into his pocket he opened the door. The cats were standing right there staring at him. His eyes widened slightly and kicked the door shut. He placed the food and coffee's on the table and walked slowly to her bedroom door. "Magdalena! Time to get up!" He said it in a sing songy voice, smiling. As he opened the door, he saw her body in bed, completely covered in blankets. "Get up!"

Magdalena heard the door unlock, magically, and groaned. Jerk. That was the problem with magic. A simple spell could get you through most doors. Not all, not those that were enchanted. The Ollivander shop doors were like that. Only those with a key could get in. But her apartment? She hadn't placed such enchantments. She rolled over, so she could glare at the closed bedroom door. He could hear him outside. So chipper and happy... It was disgusting. How could he be so energetic? A moment later, and the door opened, Nikolai standing in the door way, just as loud and energetic as she thought. Now she glared at him, before pulling the blanket back over her head so she was completely hidden from view. "No." She snapped, curling up into a tight ball under the blankets. "It's too early..." She complained. She knew she wouldn't be able to go back to sleep. Knew he wouldn't let her. But she could hope, right?

@magdalena <3 As soon as Nikolai opened the door, he saw her. Her hair was braided, but there were some strands of hair sticking out everywhere. She looked so cute when she was tired...and grumpy. He grinned at her. Magdalena grumbled to him and threw the blanket back over her head. Niko shook his head and laughed. "Oh...it's not too early! It's the perfect time to wake up! You can sleep later, get up!" He shut her bedroom door and walked closer to the bed, standing above it. Hmm....should he? Or should he let her get up on her own? No, that wouldn't be the Nikolai way of doing things.
Smiling, Niko knew what he was going to do. But, he wanted to be able to do it without having a mental breakdown like the other night. He wasn't going to touch her, he was just going to invade his own personal space. The distance that he kept from someone. But the more time he spent around Magdalena, the more comfortable he felt. But there was no doubt it was still going to be hard. He shut his eyes and tried to calm himself. He took a deep breath, in and out, in and out...Niko opened them and quickly walked forward, grabbed the blanket, and threw it on the ground.
His reaction was...not what even he thought it was going to be. She was...naked! Well, she had underwear on but...naked! Niko gasped and immediately turned around. "Why haven't you got any clothes on?!" His voice was loud, and shocked. At least he got through getting closer to her, but now his heart was racing for a different reason. He hadn't expected to see...that.

Magdalena didn't like being woken up. Especially at this hour. Even though it was a totally decent hour for most people. "Or I can sleep now and get up later." She grumbled back, refusing to uncover her head or any other part of her body. If anything she closed her eyes, trying desperately to go back to sleep. He wasn't going to let her though. The door closing was a little confusing though. Was he going to give her time to sleep? Or was he just trying to lock the cats out? Probably the later.
It was still for several moments. Quiet in the room except for.... deep breathing? It had to be Nikolai. She didn't move, didn't dare to as she waited to what he might do. Having the blankets ripped off wasn't what she was expecting. Because he didn't get that close to her. There was an immediate temperature difference when the blanket was yanked off, startling her, but she curled up even tighter into a ball. She opened her mouth to protest, but he beat her too it. Her eyes opened, only to have his back to her, Nikolai sounding and looking extremely flustered and confused. She sat up, her gaze searching for the blanket. IT was on the floor at the foot of the bed. Well... that seemed like to much work to get. Looking back at him, she didn't speak immediately, instead reaching up to rub the sleep from her eyes. She stretched after that, covering a yawn, before rolling onto her stomach and putting a pillow over her head. She seemed completely and totally unconcerned about her current predicament.
Only when she was good and comfortable again did she speak. "Underwear counts as clothes, Nikolai." was the start of her excuse, but she didn't stop there. "Not like you haven't seen it already either. You act like you haven't seen a woman's body before." She didn't realize how right she was with that statement...

@magdalena <3 Her words shocked him. Underwear was not clothes! And she didn't even seem phased by it! Raising an eyebrow, Nikolai nervously turned around a bit, only to see her now lying on her belly, with the pillow over her head. All she had on was the underwear, but he couldn't help himself from staring. Thankfully she wasn't looking at him, otherwise he would've been extremely embarrassed for staring.
Niko looked down at the ground and coughed, not bringing his gaze back up to her. "Uh. Actually...I haven't..." His voice was soft, very quiet. Why was he telling her this? He didn't even know. Things were just coming out of his mouth when he was around her, he couldn't think around her.

He hadn't.
Magdalena uncovered her head from under the pillow and turned her head to look at him. He wasn't looking at her, his gaze on the ground. She didn't say anything at first, just... looked at him. Her gaze softened. She hadn't expected him to answer in that way, or the honesty in his voice. She let out a sigh, brushing a stray hair from her face. "Can you toss me that shirt?" She asked, pointing towards a plain black shirt on the ground. She... didn't want him to feel uncomfortable. And if covering up a bit would help, well it was a small price to pay.

@magdalena <3 He saw her body moving on the bed but he didn't let his gaze move from the floor. He didn't want to be...well, he wasn't so much uncomfortable. Nikolai wasn't sure what he was feeling. Maybe uncomfortable for her sake? He had no clue. But she asked him to grab her a shirt and his eyes found it immediately. Niko bent over to pick it up and threw it over to her, looking at her once more before his eyes went to the bed. Goodness this was so weird.
"I bought breakfast and coffee if you want some." He spoke gently, a small smile making it's way onto his face as she put the shirt on.

Magdalena didn't move until he'd tossed the shirt to her. At that point, she rolled back onto her back, and sat up, and moved to put the shirt on to cover up at least a bit. She noticed his gaze linger for a moment, before casting downward again. It didn't surprise her. She was a professional dancer. Her job depended on being in good physical shape. So she knew she had a nice body. She was used to people staring at her body. Most the time she didn't care. It didn't bother her. She didn't even notice anymore. But she felt his gaze, each and every time he looked at her. And as his gaze had dropped there was a fleeting moment when she wanted to speak, wanted to tell him not to look away. Because in that moment she realized that she wanted him to keep looking. She swallowed hard, quickly yanking the shirt over her head. "You can look now." She softly muttered, her gaze searching for his own, waiting almost desperately to see if he'd look up finally.
She sighed as he mentioned food, and finally resigned herself to her fate of having to be awake. "Okay, okay. You win. What did you bring?" If she had to get up, she hoped he'd at least brought good food.

@magdalena <3 When she spoke again, saying he could look, he rose his eyebrows and glanced up at her. She had the shirt on thankfully. She still didn't have pants on, but Nikolai imagined he could get along fine with her walking around in just a shirt. He should be able too...right? He smiled softly at her, wanting to apologize for freaking out, but he didn't. It was too embarrassing to bring up again, he wasn't sure he'd be able to talk if he even attempted.
Magdalena finally stood up and his body posture became normal again, not so hunched over, but straight. He grinned at her and shrugged. "I got four different types of muffins, and I brought breakfast sandwiches as well. I wasn't sure what you liked, so I just got a variety." Nikolai should probably have figured out what types of food she liked, but all he knew so far was coffee, crepes, and hot chocolate. Not much to go off of.

It wasn't like Magdalena was against pants right now, it was more about them being put away and she didn't want him trying to navigate her drawers to find them. Well... That and she really just didn't feel like wearing them. When he looked up and smiled, her head tilted a little, a strange.... fluttering in her chest. She didn't know what that was, but found her own smile appearing.
As she stood up, she felt a sharp pain in the ankle she'd sprained last night. The smile vanished, but otherwise she didn't show any signs of the pain. It hadn't been the first time she'd gotten hurt at the club, nor would it be the last. And it wasn't that bad.... "I think that's one of the differences between us. I'm less picky." She teased after composing herself. She stepped slowly around the bed, making sure not to put to much pressure on the ankle so there wouldn't be a chance of him noticing. "Let's go then, Least you can do for waking me up..." She covered another yawn, before yanking the bedroom door open. Both cats were right there. They had to have been siting outside the door, waiting. She tried to step over them, to which they both moved to weave their way affectionately around her feet. "Come on, let me through." she muttered. She got a pair of almost identical mews in response, and still no stop to the behavior. She sighed, and took a bigger step. She held back a cringe, but finally got past them. Thankfully the cats hadn't gotten into the food he'd brought. First thing she grabbed though was the coffee she was sure was hers. His had cream and sugar written on it, the other didn't. If he wanted her awake right now, caffeine was a must.
"You're still determined to go job hunting today?" She asked after she took a sip. She could think of plenty of more fun and exciting things to do....

@magdalena <3 Nikolai let out a gentle laugh. "Yes, I suppose that is true. Well...if you're not picky, I get the chocolate chip muffin then!" He grinned at her and gave her a wink. He of course was teasing...but he wasn't. He wanted that muffin. She walked slowly to the door, and as he watched her, his eyes narrowed. Magdalena looked like she was trying to hide a hobble. He didn't say anything about it just yet, he wanted to get a better look at it without her noticing.
When she opened the door and the two cats were standing there, he rose a brow and wanted to see how she'd get through this. Well she did it pretty well, if she did have a hurt foot or something. Nikolai followed her into the kitchen and grabbed his own coffee. He took a sip of it, enjoying the warmth and taste. He smiled. "Well, yes...I would like to get you a new job. Why? You backing out already?" Niko glared at her, and his eyes went down to her foot. As his eyes scanned it, he knew what it was from his healing studying. His eyes shot back up to hers, an eyebrow raised. "How was work last night?"

Magdalena shrugged. "Go for it." She didn't care which muffin she got. And if he wanted chocolate, well, he better grab it before she did. Thankfully the coffee kept her distracted long enough to forget about the muffin entirely. Only after a longer gulp, did she grab one of the breakfast sandwiches and take a seat at the table. "Backing out? I'm pretty sure I never actually agreed to it." She retorted, raising an eyebrow in response to that glare. He didn't keep eye contact long though, his gaze slowly dropping down to her ankle. She stood normally in response, ignoring the pain. She was pretty good at hiding it, just like her emotions. "If you came, you'd know the answer to that." She teased, lightly. She actually didn't know if he'd ever set foot in the nightclub before, to be honest. The night she was drunk, she assumed she was outside already. And the other night he'd been waiting for her outside the club. "It was fine. Nothing new." She finally answered. It wasn't a lie. brawls happened all the time. She usually didn't get hurt, but that wasn't his question.
Setting the coffee down, she leaned forward against the elbows propped up. "Do you really want to spend my day off looking for a job? This is London! Why don't we go do something fun?"

@magdalena <3 Nikolai immediately grabbed the muffin and the other breakfast sandwich after his coffee and sat down with her. "Agreed to it or not, Magdalena, you don't need that type of job. You deserve something better and not to...degrading." Nikolai shook his head in disgust. He couldn't imagine being degraded to that point of having men just watching you and wanting to do those things to you. As he thought about it, his anger began to boil, wanting to hurt anyone that thought that way about her. "You know I can't stand that place, or at least you should know that. However your swollen ankle says something else." Niko gave her another glare. "What happened?"
He took a bite of his sandwich, his face now slightly angry. She leaned forward asking him if that's really what he wanted to do. He swallowed his food and gave her a face that said 'really'? "Of course that's what I want to do! I told you, I don't want to see you at that horrid place again."

"Degrading..?" She repeated quietly, fixing him with a cold look. He was spot on, of course. But hearing him saying it made her want to twitch. It wasn't nearly as bad as the 'alcoholic slut' comment the other day though, thankfully. She should have been flattered at his concern. That it upset him so much. And in a way she did. But she just didn't recognize the emotion.
He didn't drop it though, reaffirming his feelings about the club. She opened her mouth to ask him how many times he'd even gone in. But then he mentioned the ankle, and all she could do was look away, not wanting to see that look he had her fixed with again. "I tripped." On a person. "It happens sometimes. It's nothing."
Nikolai wasn't phased by her suggestion to do something else, standing firm. She let out an almost depressed sigh, and folded her arms on the table and rested her forehead on them. "But it's a nice day out...." she muttered under her breath. IT was, from what she could tell from the view from the window.
