Edmund was nervous but trying not to show it. Today was Saturday and he was just leaving lunch with Addi. Not that she ate much. She wasn't doing much better today than she'd been since everything went down with Grey. Then those blasted letters. After talking with Grey personally, Edmund hoped that the letters would fix everything, but they made things worse. Addi was now convinced that Grey didn't want to be her brother and that he would always hurt her if she tried to let him in. Just from watching at mealtimes, Edmund suspected that Grey was faring about the same. They were both suffering, but neither one of them was going to do anything about it. So Edmund was. He came up with a plan that would actually force them to talk with one another and he really hoped it would work, that the siblings would be able to sort through their problems and not be too mad at him when it was all over. He left lunch early, asking Addi to meet him at the broomstick closet on the second floor around 1 and now was nervously waiting there. The truth was, he didn't just ask Addi to meet him there. He also invited Grey to come, but around 1:15-1:20. He didn't know how the two would react face-to-face with one another, so he asked them to come at different times. His plan was to get their wands, throw them in the broom closet and not let them out until they'd made things right with one another. He didn't think it would be too hard to get Addi into the broom closet, but Grey? That was going to be tough, but Edmund was determined. This needed to happen, for both their sakes. He only hoped that Addi couldn't tell how nervous he was. She'd probably find that very suspicious. He leaned against the wall, placing one foot on the wall and trying to act natural. He closed his eyes and took a deep breath. This was for the best. @jill2 grey xavier slater (wanna come in after Addi's in the closet? haha)

Edmund was acting weird. He wanted Addilyn to meet him at the...broom closet on the second floor. That was an unusual request, correct? At least Addi thought so. She wasn't sure what exactly he wanted, but she didn't plan on playing some closet games with him. Her emotions were all fluctuating today, and she wasn't in the mood for some joke. She was actually pretty sad, not angry today. Addi had already cried that morning over her brother; she wasn't sure why as she was pretty positive Grey would never cry over her.
Either way, she walked up the stairs to the second floor. As she turned the corner, she saw Edmund leaning up against the wall. A small smile formed on her face. He was so handsome. She loved his dark, shaggy hair and the freckles that came along with it. He was so sweet, too...always knowing how to make her feel better. Addi walked up slowly to him. "Hi, E..."

He smiled when he saw Addi approaching her, though he could see she wasn't doing well at all. "Adds," he greeted her with a small smile, trying to decide how to do this. How was he could to get her in the closet? Adding the fact that her current mood was way in the negative, he should probably try to do something to raise her spirits. He pushed himself off the wall and moved to approach her. He took her hand in his, pulling her a little closer to him. "Are you all right?" Edmund asked, looking closely in her eyes. He had a small idea of what he wanted to do, but he had to show he noticed how she was before he made her super angry.

His smile made her feel better. Him being so happy to see her always made her feel so good, so happy. Addilyn wasn't sure what she ever did to deserve such a perfect guy as Edmund, but she was going to take it. He was wonderful. Ed took her hand and pulled her closer, and she tilted her head to him, her face soft. "I'm as alright as I can be, Edmund. How are you?" Addi gave him a small smile and leaned forward to kiss him on the cheek. Her hand squeezed his, letting him know her mood was currently okay.

She said she was alright and smiled, making Edmund's mind up for him. Then she kissed his cheek and he turned so she was pushed against the wall, right next to the door to the broom closet. Not that she knew that though. "I have a feeling I'm going to be great," he whispered as he bent forward and kissed her neck gently. He missed this part of being with her, of being close to her. Ever since Grey started to ignore her, she'd been so distant that it was hard to be close to her. He kissed her cheek and pulled back for a second, looking into her eyes. He wasn't pushing this too far for her right now, was he? Edmund sure hoped not, but if she needed him to, he'd stop.

@edmund <3 After she kissed his cheek, Addilyn felt him turn her around and push her up against the wall. The roughness of it, including him going right in to kiss her neck, made her shut her eyes and she let out a slow breath. Were they really going to do this in the corridor? That was exactly what her brother had warned her about, but...he wasn't acting like a brother so she didn't care. When Addilyn opened her eyes she smirked at Edmund, a real smirk. He kissed her cheek and Addi bit her lip, looking from his lips to his eyes. "I think you're going to be pretty great, too, E."

Edmund grinned when Addi smirked at him. She was happy. He hadn't seen her like this since the beginning of the year and he was glad. Maybe she'd get less angry at him ... but he wasn't going to plan on that happening. He was going to expect her fury. That way, if she wasn't as upset, he could be happy about it. "That's what I thought," he mumbled before cupping her chin with one hand and leaning forward to kiss her, slowly. He lowered his hand and wrapped his hands around her waist, searching for her wand while he kissed her. Of course, he was loving the kissing, but if his plan was going to work, he had to get the wand. After a minute, he finally found it. He kissed her harder as he slowly slid it out of her back pocket and moved it back into his own pocket. He kissed her a little longer, loving the feeling. When he pulled away, he looked into her eyes with a smirk. "And how are you now?"

@edmund <3 Directly after he mumbled to her, she felt his fingers on her chin and he kissed her slowly. Addilyn moved her hands up to his chest, feeling the heat of his body through his shirt. He suddenly began kissing her harder and she returned it, making a noise into the kiss. This was wonderful. She wasn't sure what had come over him, but hell, was she enjoying it. Edmund pulled away, too soon for Addilyn's liking, and he left her breathless. She took a deep breath, smiling at him. "I'm...fantastic."

Kissing Addi was ... heaven. Edmund couldn't believe he'd waited so long since their last kiss. He didn't want to stop. Honestly, he just wanted to stand here and kiss her. Forget the rest of his plan. "Good," he mumbled as he bent forward and continued to kiss her. He couldn't help it. He wanted to kiss her again before she got mad at him. Then again, he couldn't kiss her too long or Grey would be here and the whole plan would be shot. Still, he was going to enjoy the moment. He pulled her away from the wall, wrapping her in his arms this time as he kissed her, wanting to make sure this lasted as long as it could.
Finally, when he knew he couldn't wait any longer, he pulled away and put his forehead on hers. "I love you Adds," he started, staring into her eyes. He closed his for a second, swallowed and apologized, "And I'm sorry," he whispered, so quietly he wasn't even sure if she'd be able to hear it.

@edmund <3 As Edmund continued the kiss, Addilyn melted. She felt so loved, so fantastic and she didn't want this to end. Was this what he wanted her for? To make out in the corridor? If that was it, Addi would do this more often. There weren't many places that they could be alone, unless they woke up incredibly early and hung out in the common room. But even then, she liked her sleep.
And then he pulled away. And he looked sad. And he had his forehead on hers and he told her he loved her. Addilyn looked at him, her eyes suddenly concerned. "I love you too, Edmund...what's wrong?"

It wasn't surprising that Addi could see he was nervous, but Edmund wished he could have kept it from her. He didn't want to make her upset or nervous, though she was definitely about to get angry. "Nothing's wrong. Just ... don't get too angry at me, ok Adds?" He said before bending down to give her one last, intimate kiss.
His left hand went to the doorknob next to them and he pulled the door open. He pulled away from Addi. "I'm sorry," he mumbled before he pushed her in the open door and closed it right in her face, quickly pulling out his wand and locking it before she could open it again. His heart was racing and he felt so guilty, but at the same time he gave a small smile. His charm to make the door sound resistant was working. He was almost positive Addi was shouting at him from the other side, but he couldn't see a thing.
Taking a few deep breaths as he tried to calm his racing pulse, Edmund leaned against the wall again as he waited for Grey. This one wasn't going to be half as fun. In fact, it might turn into a duel if Grey was fast enough, but Edmund hoped he wouldn't be. He really just needed to get the two siblings in the closet together so they could work things out.

Addilyn was so confused. Edmund was just being so sweet, so great, and now he was upset. What had she done? All Addi could even think of was that she was a bad kisser now...but that couldn't be it. He was happy about it. Edmund apologized again and asked her not to be angry...angry at what?
As soon as Addi had opened her mouth to speak, Edmund opened the door, said he was sorry, and shoved her into the closet that they had just been standing next to. Her body lurched backwards and she hit the wall of the closet. He slammed the door, and Addi stood there, her face angry, her eyes wide, and trying to catch her breath. What the hell, Edmund?! She began coughing because of the dust, and she shook her head and went to grab her wand but...it wasn't there. That kid took her wand! That's the only reason he kissed her like that! Edmund has never kissed Addilyn so intimately before, and he just wanted to lock her in a damn closet!
"Edmund Michael Windsor you let me out right now!" Addi began punching the door with both fists, her anger releasing. Why was he doing this to her? Angry tears began falling down her face. "What is wrong with you?"

The Monsters walk among us The back and forth letters he had with Addi didn’t turn out the way he had planned. If anything, now it was worse than it was before. Grey had thought explaining everything that had happened would solve all of their problems, but apparently there was something he was missing still. Maybe saying that Addi was better off without him in her life wasn’t the best choice, but what else was there? She didn’t want him to cause her any more pain and that was the only option he could come up with. Grey didn’t understand girls, let alone his own sister. Apparently no matter what he chose was the wrong choice for Addi, and that was difficult for him to comprehend. Thinking about it was an instant headache and it was unavoidable since it was still so recent. Thankfully, Edmund had already approached him and wanted to talk again. Grey hoped it was about the owl incident, since it was inevitable that Addi would have told Edmund about it already, or he would at least asked her about it. That was the plan after all. Sure, Grey had screwed up the majority of it, but Edmund seemed to be pretty good at cleaning things up. He hoped the boy might have already fixed things with Addi in his stead. Today though, Grey had to meet Edmund on the second floor. He had watched silently as Addi and Edmund left the Great Hall, and after a few minutes, decided to get up and go to the meeting place. For whatever reason, he wanted to wait and make sure Addi was out of ear shot before he had his conversation with Edmund. The last thing he wanted was Addi cutting ties with both of them. Then they would really be in trouble. Slowly walking up the flights of stairs the separated the Great Hall from the second floor where Edmund wanted to meet, Grey ran through his head everything that had happened between him and Addi. He had her letters that she had sent him stuffed in his back pocket, unsure if Edmund wanted to see them or not. It wasn’t like he didn’t trust what Addi had told Edmund, but with the way she was now, it was hard for him to believe she would say the right things or tell the whole truth. There was no doubt that at this point both of them were in the wrong for what was going on. He wanted to make sure Edmund understood that. Finally cresting the stairs to the second floor, Grey spotted Edmund at the meeting place and approached him, pulling out the letters in the process. “Here. Before we start talking, maybe you should see these.” Grey said, handing the letters over to Edmund. “I’m not sure what she’s told you, but I did my best to fix things, and this is where we’re at. Most of it is my fault still…”

A part of Edmund really just wanted to push Grey in the closet somehow and get it all over with, but the other part of him couldn't. After everything that Grey and Addi were going through- which he actually blamed both of them for- Grey deserved at least something resembling a conversation before he got pushed in the closet with a furious Addi. Hmm, maybe it would help them get along, the fact that Edmund put them both in a closet. Maybe they would bond while they were angry with him. Not that he was excited for that, but he didn't see any other option. Then Grey walked up, holding out letters. Edmund nodded, his expression serious as he took them from Grey. Grey probably expected Edmund to wait and read them sometime when he was alone, but Edmund had no intention of waiting. "Give me a minute," he muttered as he opened the letters and quickly read through them. Though the letters were depressing, they almost made Edmund want to smile. He was right. He knew they'd both had a part in this. Then again, that was the depressing part. It was Grey's fault and it was Addi's. Apparently she wouldn't forgive him and Grey was just giving into that. Ridiculous. "So what now?" he asked as he folded them up and moved to give them back to Grey. He was curious about what the Gryffindor wanted to do, what he thought would help. If he thought of something better than Edmund's plan, maybe he wouldn't go through with it. But .. then he would have thrown Addi into a closet for nothing. She would be so angry. He wasn't sure what he wanted to happen now. grey xavier slater @jill2

The Monsters walk among us Grey waited hesitantly as Edmund took the letters from him and silently read through the pile. They were agonizing moments of silence, something that he hadn’t exactly anticipated from the Slytherin boy. For some reason, Grey had figured Edmund would be asking him questions, possibly trying to get to the bottom of who was telling the truth; Grey or Addi. None of that happened though. Silence as Edmund flipped from letter to letter. He couldn’t help but think that Addi might have done the same thing, showing Edmund, the third party in this circus, what Grey had written to her. To say he was proud of having to send any of those letters was silly. From what he had taken out of Addi’s letters, she didn’t want him to hurt her again, but also wanted to fix things. Those two things could not go together, no matter how much she wanted both to happen. It was impossible. So he had taken things into his own hands. Not being able to promise that he wouldn’t hurt her again was enough to solve the dilemma. Apparently that wasn’t enough though. Now it was time to make Edmund understand that. As Edmund seemingly finished reading, the letters were handed back to him. He wasn’t sure if he was supposed to take them or not, since Edmund didn’t really say much, other than what they could do now. Unless that was directed solely at what Grey could do? He figured that his job was done. Everything had gotten worse despite trying to fix it, and it looked like Addi never wanted to see him again unless he made false promises for something that he couldn’t guarantee. “I don’t know. You saw how she responded, and I’m sure you have an idea of what I said.” Grey reached out and took the letters back, jamming them into his right pocket, alongside his wand. “I’m not one to give up, but I can’t promise her that it won’t happen again. Because when it does, and I’m sure it will, then Addi will really be messed up. More than she is now. And I don’t want that. If trying to tell her that through letters isn’t enough to convince her, then maybe I’ll talk to her one last time. If she lets me, that is.” Like hell that would happen. Pulling it off would be a feat in itself. There was also no way he could find the words to articulate what he wanted her to understand. He had always been bad at that. “Is that a good idea? I don’t really know anymore.”MADE BY VEL OF GS + ADOX 2.0
