al tossed the pillow above his head and sighed. he was waiting for dusti, they had a different class at the end of the day and he had made it back to the common room before she had. he was stretched out on one of the couches in the room and had fended off some second years who had tried to steal it from him so he wasn't getting up from it for a while, just for the principle of the situation. he let the pillow fall onto the ground behind the couch as he stretched out more and hung his head off the side of the couch and kept his eyes on the door of the common room. maybe he was being a bit weird but he wanted to see his girlfriend and spend some time with her before they were thrust into dinner and homework and before they'd have to go to bed without spending all that much time together, so he wanted to see her. a lot.

Dusti had been held back after class.

No surprise considering she'd tried to curse one of her year mates in the middle of class for an accidental wayward spell. It hadn't been intentional, but she'd been so on edge lately, that she just rubbed her the wrong way. And she couldn't control it. She was just so angry all the time. Even Albus had fallen victim to her anger a few times. Thankfully she managed to just walk away when it was him ticking her off though.

"Move." Dusti ordered harshly at a pair of first years as she stepped into the common room. They scattered like startled mice, having learned very quickly that she didn't have patience for them right now. She was heading straight to her dorm room, all in a huff, but stopped as she spotted a familiar dark head of hair reclining on the couch. For a split second, she wanted to just keep walking. She'd already snapped at him once today, she didn't want to repeat it. Especially because he still didn't know why she was so on edge lately...

After a moment though, she sighed, shook her head, and turned back to approach the couch. Without any words, she pushed his knees to the side, and plopped down next to Albus. Still, she said nothing. But she was pretty sure he'd know she was in a mood. Again.

"Move." al raised his brow as he heard dusti come into the common room and he couldn't help but chuckle when the first years scattered like frightened mice from her. he stayed where he was, his green eyes watching her as she came across the room to shove his legs off the couch and she dropped down next to him. he nudged her leg lightly with her knee before sitting up on his elbow. "you're scary when you're mad apparently" he said softly with a smile as he reached toward her, catching her waist with his arm and he moved to pull her down against his chest lightly. he could forgive her for being snappy, they both had their bad days and merlin knew he had had more than a few of his own, so he figured he wouldn't say anything about it, just keep his arm around her and give her the chance to calm down and relax if she wanted too.

Dusti let out a long, deep breath when Albus sat up a little, and said those words. "You already knew that." She curtly retorted. He'd always known that. Ever since first year, she'd been prone to lash out when angry. It didn't help that she had a short temper too. Basically people had learned quickly to stay clear of her. It was why she had so few friends when you thought about it. No one dared getting close to her, and she didn't let them. Albus, of course, was different. He was the same in that sense. The shared trait should have driven them apart, made them hate and despise each other. But it'd had the complete opposite affect. Because, for both of them? It had been someone that finally understood them. "It's not my fault people are bloody idiots today..." she muttered angrily after, her voice lowered so only Albus would hear that comment.

He didn't say anything else. Instead, she felt his arm snake around her waist and quickly yank her to him, pulling her down on top of him and tight against his chest. For a brief moment, her eyes flashed with anger, but it didn't last. That scowl softened after a deep breath, and she forced herself to relax and stop fighting his grip. She knew what he was doing. He'd done it before. Pin her till she calmed down enough that she wouldn't try to hurt someone. It was a good thing that Albus was one of the few people she'd never hurt in her anger, so he could safely perform such a maneuver with no risk to himself. Tucking her arms in close, she took another deep breath, letting it out slowly and feeling some of the stiffness in her limbs relaxing. By the time the breath was out, she'd finally relaxed enough that she laid her head down against his shoulder.

"It's not my fault people are bloody idiots today..." he bit back a laugh at that, he didn't want to make her anymore annoyed at him. he wrapped his other arm around her waist as she tucked in close to his chest and he could feel her start to relax. that was what he wanted, for her to relax and just take a few deep breathes. he rubbed his hand up and down her back lightly and when her head pressed against his shoulder he pressed a quick kiss to it. he noticed the common room had cleared of just about everyone except a straggler or two who were looking in every direction but the couch. "when dinner is over .. want to go watch the stars for a while?" he asked her softly, his mouth close to her ear as they lay together on the couch.

Albus made it difficult to stay mad, and she really, really, wanted to! Dusti just wanted to be angry, and fume, and unleash her anger on the world. She breathed in and let out slow, deep breaths, just letting the anger slowly start to seep out of her body. Albus was the first to speak after giving her a few minutes to calm down, and he asked her a question, asking if she wanted to star gaze after dinner. It was a shared hobby of theirs. But he'd added 'a while' at the end and huffed a little. "That means coming back in." She mentioned.

Albus.... Knew what was going on in the seventh year girl's dorm. Oh, every Slytherin did. It was a complete and totally explosive combination. Dusti, Viovinnia, Ondina, and Lucy. Well, Rusti was there too, but she was mostly quiet. The fighting was between Dusti and the rest of the seventh year girls. They'd never gotten along, and relationships had always been strains for the girls in her year. Albus had probably always seen it. But this year had started off on a very bad note. There'd been an actual, physical fight between Dusti and Al's cousin, Lucy. A professor and several other Slytherin girls had gotten involved to break it up. Up until now, Dusti hadn't offered any explanation to Albus for the fight. But he'd know tensions were extremely high right now with his female year and housemates. More then once Dusti had chosen to sleep in the common room then the dormitory.

"That means coming back in." al smiled slightly and turned his head to look at her face. he nodded a little, he did want to come back in at some point and sleep before their classes tomorrow. he didn't want to let her go though, he was always stuck in that dilemma. he never wanted to feel his arms empty after she had been in them, it felt cold and he didn't seem to know what to do with them anymore. the only time he felt whole was when he had dusti wrapped up in them. "well i would like to sleep tonight" he said as he pressed a kiss to her temple and he hugged her tighter without thinking. he knew of the trouble she was going through at the moment. his cousin was one of the worst people al knew, he'd put her right up there with ondina and the people in charge of the purifiers. "i'll sneak you into my dorm tonight, you can sleep there" he offered up as a solution. there had been nights she had slept in the common room, he knew that. people had told him but he didn't want to bring it up with her, if she wanted to talk about it with him she would. if she didn't he wasn't going to press the issue, it would only cause more problems but he was keeping a close eye on it and he wouldn't have any problems confronting his cousin about what was going on.

Dusti let out a sigh, and with it the last of her anger, as he said he'd like to sleep tonight. Boring. She might have just told him to screw sleeping, but they had Qudditch practice in the morning.... Being the most experienced member of the team, somehow she'd been named Captain for her seventh year, so staying up all night wasn't the smartest decision. She lifted her head to look at down at him as he continued and said he'd sneak her into the boy's dorm tonight. It took a moment, until she grinned. "Break two rules in one night?" She questioned, Not that she was against it. Dusti had never hesitated when it came to rule breaking. Probably because of her parents, and how she'd intentionally gone out of her way to break their rules as an act of defiance. She leaned down to kiss him properly on the lips. She'd had enough of the forehead kisses, apparently. When she finally pulled away she put her head back down on his shoulder. and shifted a little so her arms were wrapped a little tighter around him. "Guessing you don't want another yelling match tonight?" She asked. She didn't doubt that the boys could sometimes hear the seventh year girls' fights. But Albus had thankfully never pushed for information. Which, she was grateful for. She still.... She hadn't told him about her.... well father issue. She'd tell him, when she was ready. But right now she was still struggling quite a bit emotionally by it, as was obvious by her severe temper streak lately.

"Break two rules in one night?" al laughed and shrugged his shoulders slightly. there were some rules he didn't mind breaking if they meant that dusti would get something out of them. she'd get the chance to relax outside then have the chance for a great nights sleep next to him in his bed. what was wrong with that really? he didn't see it and he would argue that point to anyone who caught them. "lets live dangerously" he said as she leaned down to kiss him. he smiled into it, resting his hand on the back of her neck as they lay together on the couch in that moment, not caring that there were others in the room. he lifted his head to follow her a little when she pulled away and he ducked his head slightly to kiss her jaw as she rested her head back on his shoulder. he smiled slightly and felt her arms tighten around him and he shifted a little, taking his lips from her jaw down to kiss her neck as she spoke again. "Guessing you don't want another yelling match tonight?" he mumbled something that was agreement. he didn't want to hear them fighting, he didn't want to feel like he needed to rush in there and protect her, because if there was one thing that dusti didn't need it was protecting. he didn't feel like talking much in that very moment, she had started something when she had kissed him and now he wanted to finish it.

Dusti grinned as he laughed. Leave it to Albus to have no fear in breaking the rules, and she had absolutely no problem with that. "Don't we always?" She asked teasingly. With a sigh, she brushed her hair off her shoulders, lifted and turned her head to give him better access to her neck as he kissed it. His 'words' only somewhat resembled English, so she assumed he was agreeing, but she wasn't positive. He was far to determined to keep kissing her then try to speak clearly. Dusti smiled, and closed her eyes for a moment, just enjoying his touch just a little longer. Finally though, she turned in his arms. She slipped her arms under his own, and rolled on top of him a bit. Some of her blonde hair fell back over her shoulders, and lightly brushed against his neck. Only then did that smile turn into a smirk, before she finally leaned down to kiss him again.

"Don't we always?" he heard her follow those words with a sigh but he didn't pay all that much attention to it. she wasn't pushing him away, telling him to stop or acting like she wanted him to, so he wasn't planning on it. it hadn't taken him long after they had let their feelings for each other known for albus to realize he loved her. it had scared him at first, he wasn't one to fall in love. not quickly, what he'd had over the last few years with some girls had been nothing compared to what he felt for dusti, even though they hadn't really been together all that long. in fact it had taken an effort just for them to start talking to each other again but he knew he didn't want to not be around her again. it was an odd feeling, being so drawn to someone when you were so used to being able to hide emotions, he couldn't with dusti. it just wasn't possible. he felt her turn on his chest in that moment and his arm tightened around her waist, his face still buried against her neck as he felt some of her hair tickle his neck. he couldn't help the shiver than ran down his spine and the small laugh that he felt in the back of his throat as he lifted his head from her neck to kiss her back when she brought herself closer. he slid his hand up her back lightly, resting it on the back of her neck as he smiled into their kiss, content with the world in that very moment.

Dusti would have been perfectly content to lay there the rest of the day with Albus. Just kissing him, and being together. But they were in the middle of the common room. Eventually someone would disturb them and ruin the entire thing. No doubt it'd be one of her dorm mates, come to pick another fight, or someone else that annoyed the hell out of her. So, after kissing for a few blissful minutes, Dusti shifted again. This time breaking the kiss as she straddled him. From this position he wouldn't be able to lean up to kiss her unless she leaned down, and right now she wasn't. She just smirked down at him, positive he wasn't happy with her pulling away like that and most likely wanting to change that as soon as possible. She pressed her hands against his chest, just to make sure he didn't move quite yet. "We still have a little time before dinner starts, you know." She started to explain, her voice soft but definitely suggestive. "It's a little crowded in here too." She continued. Finally she leaned down to kiss him firmly, and possessively. She didn't care if anyone saw it. All the Slytherins knew they were dating after all, and Dusti didn't care what they thought. But she had spoken to quietly to be overheard by anyone other then Albus. "Come on." She finally breathed as she broke the kiss, pulling away and getting off of him. Her hand found his own as she stood, to gently pull along. There wouldn't be any confusion about what she was suggesting. They'd been together only once before, if only because it was so blasted difficult to find someplace quiet where they wouldn't be disturbed other then the Room of Requirements. The entrance was all the way on the fifth floor though, which made it a bit annoying though. But the dungeons while dark and dreary, were underused, which meant there were plenty of unused classrooms and broom closets...

"We still have a little time before dinner starts, you know." he raised a brow slightly at the suggestion in her voice. he glanced around the room quickly and he looked back at her, the corners of his mouth twitching slightly up into a playful smirk and he nodded a little. "It's a little crowded in here too." he nodded again, just once as she leaned down to kiss him. he leaned up into it, his hand resting on the back of her neck as it seemed she didn't want to pull away from him any time soon. he was fine with that, being with her was at the top of his list for things he wanted to do so pulling away would be on his least. "Come on." he laced his fingers through hers as she tugged him off the couch and he stood up. he moved with her as he took the lead and moved toward the entrance to the slytherin common room and out into the dungeons. any place they found would be better than the floor of a bus he thought to himself as he moved along the corridor with her. the only place that would be comfortable was the room of requirment but that was too far away. he caught sight of a cupboard and he grinned a little. "want to pretend we're acrobats?" he said as he moved to the door and pushed it open, stepping inside and turning back to dusti with another playful smirk on his face and he raised an eyebrow slightly.

Dusti loved that smirk of his. The one that said he knew exactly what she was suggesting, and was just as for the idea as she was. It didn't take much to persuade him, and soon she wasn't the one leading the way out. He was. Holding his hand, she grinned as he lead the way, taking them out of the Common Room and out into the Dungeons to find a quiet pot. He spotted the small broom closet first, and she chuckled at his question. "Who says we have to pretend?" She teased as she followed him inside and closed the door behind her. She pulled out her wand and turned to the door. A small wave at the lock to ensure they wouldn't be interrupted, and then she finally turned back to look t her boyfriend. Dang, it really was a small space. Oh well.

She leaned against the door. "See? Isn't this better? Just us." She breathed as she wrapped one hand around the back of his neck to pull his lips to hers, while her other hand wrapped around his waist to pull the rest of him closer.

Just us." he chuckled, the sound low in his throat as he felt her pull him toward her. he didn't fight it at all, stepping into her and wrapping his own arm around her waist. though a thought in the back of his mind occurred to him. next time they were going to do this in a bed. so far it had been the back of a bus and a broom closet. that wasn't romantic at all and not really practical but he understood the need. he kissed her back as he rubbed his hand up her back, his hand slipping under her shirt to undo her bra as he started to pull her against him ...
