Vi raised an eyebrow at the Quidditch player. "Fix that, hm?" The idea sounded fine to Vi, but she just loved giving Dustin a hard time. A wide smirk returned to her face when Dustin said he remembered how much she liked cinnamon. "I would hope so," she said, teasing him again. The Slytherin inclined her head toward him and raised her eyebrows as Dustin spoke again. Vi did more than just tolerate him, of course, but she still had an appearance to upold even around Dustin. However, she still allowed herself to look surprised when he genuinely caught her off guard. And it happened more often than she liked to admit. But when he pulled away from the little peck he gave her, Vi blinked and could taste the peppermint left behind from Dustin's own lips. After a moment, she finally looked back up at him. "Well. I guess you are some kind of special then, huh?" This time she couldn't help the half smile that appeared on her face.

Dustin cracked a smile at Vi’s eyebrow raise and dubious question. “Not having ever tasted hot cocoa is a character flaw, Vinnie, I figured you would have known this by now, as omniscient as you are.” His smile flickered a moment, but Dustin pasted it back on. “Isn’t that what we’re supposed to do now that we’re dating? Fix each other’s every flaw?” He certainly hoped that wasn’t what Vi was aiming to do, because Dustin was sure that he was rough around the edges in a way that even Vi and all of her pureblood ways couldn’t fix. Hot cocoa was an easy one, though – it was just a drink. He chuckled a little when Vinnie said that she’d hope he’d remember her enthusiastic love of cinnamon flavored things, biting his lip while he smiled at her. “I’m more than one kind of special, thank you very much.” He said, nudging her foot under the table. “I just hope every day that they’re the kinds of special that you like.” People were always talking about how girls oughtn’t not change themselves for boys, but Dustin was one boy who wouldn’t mind changing everything for one girl.

Viovinnia let out a slightly sarcastic scoff, but again, it was more of a chuckle. "Hot cocoa wasn't really served at my house," she said, thinking about her family and the house elves they still employeed. "I usually drink water. Except when my parents were having tea," she shrugged. "Traditional home and all that." It wasn't such surprising news to Vi, but for someone like Dustin, it must be. Vi smirked when she felt Dustin's foot nudge her under the table. "They're... an okay type of special." She teased. Truthfully, Vi found Dustin's quirks and qualities more than special, and she really liked them. She couldn't let him know that!

Right. Dustin sometimes forgot that being a pureblood meant having servants. Not being able to make his own food and drink as needed would probably drive Dustin insane, especially if it meant missing out on something as amazing as hot cocoa. “What about at school?” He challenged. There must have been hot cocoa available in the Great Hall at least once in Vi’s seven years at Hogwarts. He rolled his eyes at the phrase ‘traditional home’. “Boring home is more like it.” He smirked. He couldn’t help but let out a chuckle of laughter when Vi said he was an okay type of special. He was going to retort, but at that moment, the waitress returned with their cinnamon tea, probably not caring that Dustin hadn’t quite finished with his peppermint. He finished it with a gulp before drawing the next teacup in front of him. “Hope this doesn’t disappoint you, Vinnie.” He said. She probably had high expectations, and Dustin would hate to see Vi let down.

Viovinnia had never honestly thought about drinking hot cocoa at school. She had never had it, so she didn't know what it was like to want to drink it. "I suppose I'm just so used to just water and tea," she shrugged. "I've never even had pumpkin juice. But, I have only gone to Hogwarts for two years." She added, though she made sort of a wrinkled face at the mention of pumpkin juice, as the drink had never really sounded good to her anyway. Vi smirked at Dustin's 'boring home' comment. He wasn't wrong.
At that moment the waitress returned with the cinnamon tea and placed the cups in front of either of them. Viovinnia's eyes widened slightly in wonder at the smell of the cinnamon tea. Without hesitation she placed both hands around the cup and lifted it to her lips to take a sip, which quickly turned into a rather large gulp. She set down the cup and she looked up at Dustin with a content look. "Definitely not disappointed," she said, taking another sip of the cinnamon tea.

Dustin couldn’t imagine a life that only involved water and tea. And not even a wide variety of tea, since Viovinnia had been shocked to see some of the items on the menu. Boring was one way to put it, definitely, but also kind of…tame. Vinnie was wild in every other way that there was to be wild, at least from Dustin’s point of view, so it seemed a little strange to him that her taste in drinks would be so vanilla. Ooh, vanilla tea. That sounded good. “One of these days I am going to force you to drink every drink I’ve ever tried. Not all at once though.” Mixing Coca-Cola with milk seemed like a bad idea. But forcing Vinnie to drink a lot of strange things, like papaya juice, seemed appealing. It would certainly be an atypical date.
Dustin smiled at Vinnie when she took a large gulp of the cinnamon tea. Most of the time his smiles erred towards the side of smirks, or were otherwise teasing, but there was something so innocent in watching Vi enjoy the simple pleasure of a good tea, and there was no way that he could not smile at that. “I’m glad.” He said softly when she said she wasn’t disappointed. He could have made an innuendo out of that easily, but for now, Dustin just wanted to bask in the warmth of the tea shop and being near Vi.
