@magdalena <3 3 am was not when Nikolai wanted to wake up. It wasn't when he wanted to eat, to drink, to do anything. Except sleep. However, his eyes shot wide open, and he felt kind of sick. Ugh. He took in deep breaths, in and out, trying to calm his nerves and stomach. Unfortunately, that did not work, as he immediately began pouring sweat. Niko jumped out of bed as gently as he could to not wake up Magdalena. He ran into the bathroom and got sick. Niko shut his eyes, leaning against the cold wall for a few moments. Flushing the toilet, he went and brushed his teeth. Then he snuck past Magi and went downstairs to put on a pot of tea.
Now that he was wide awake, he didn't really know what to do. He was going to let her sleep, of course. The tea finished, but he was drinking it with just milk, no sugar. Didn't want to upset his stomach any more than it already was. Nikolai was going to wait a few before he even attempted to eat. He opened the glass doors onto their patio and sat down in a chair, only in his sweatpants. Nikolai took a sip of his tea, and rested his head on his hands, shutting his eyes.

Magdalena hadn't been feeling that great all day. From lack of sleep, probably. The last couple nights she hadn't really slept well. Thankfully, tonight seemed to be better. She'd been completely out cold since nine, at least. She hadn't even stirred when Nikolai had come to bed, or when he got up. She was just out, totally and completely. Or, at least she was. As if a bucket of cold water was dumped on her, she jolted awake at the sound of the door to the bedroom closing. Typically, Magi and Nikolai kept the door closed to keep out the critters (aka cats and dog). So hearing it open and close.... Well, it wasn't normal for this hour. Well, normal for Nikolai. Magi sometimes sneaked in and out, but that was mostly because she had a hard time sleeping at night typically.
Sitting up, she rubbed her eyes, searching the dark room for some sort of explanation. It took a few minutes, but eventually she realized that Nikolai wasn't in bed. That was unusual. Yawning, she crawled out of the bed. Taking a blanket off the bed, she folded it in half, then wrapped it around her shoulders. The nights had been getting colder, but November did that. Leaving the room, she headed out into the house, trying to find him, and figure out why he was up so late... or early. That's when she spotted the doors to the backyard. Stepping outside, she finally spotted him. "Nikolai? What are you doing up..?"

@magdalena <3 Nikolai heard her voice. He hadn't heard her coming downstairs, but that tone was noticeable anywhere. He sat up, his eyes opening to look at her. She looked beautiful standing there in the rising sun. Granted, she was probably cold. But he had a fever and couldn't wait for it to go away, so the cold air was nice. Niko took another sip of his hot coffee and turned towards her a bit more.
"I ah...I got sick." He grinned slightly at her, shrugging. "Why are you up? I tried not wake you up." Nikolai stood, walking over to the door to her. He reached his hand up to her cheek, letting his thumb rub it slightly. Niko tilted his head at her. "You should go back to sleep."

Magdalena tilted her head as he stirred, sitting up ad looking at her. He didn't look that great. Pale. As he explained, it made sense, but it was.... surprising. Nikolai took extremely good care of his body, plus he understood the art of healing far better then her. She would have thought it was near impossible for him to get sick. Whatever it was he had caught, he must have given it to her, or vice versa.
She tugged the blanket around her shoulders as he stood and crossed to her. She smiled and leaned her cheek into his hand. "It's okay, I've had plenty of sleep tonight. Practically... six hours! It's a new record." She grinned a little, but it softened after a moment. "Are you okay?"

@magdalena <3 Nikolai shrugged. "I think I'm alright. Getting a bit hungry. But it was weird. I woke up and felt sick. Now I feel fine, just sweating." Nikolai's stomach didn't hurt anymore, and he didn't feel like he had a fever. But then again he was always hot so he wasn't sure what it was. Niko smiled at her. "Are you hungry?"

Just woke up and felt sick...? "Just all of a sudden?" She asked, slightly concerned. She shifted the blanket on her shoulder a bit, to free one of her hands so she could reach out and take his."Must be something going around. At least it's passed now?" At the mention of food, her stomach turned a little.... But not in a good way. "Not really, but you should go ahead and fix something for yourself."

@magdalena <3 He nodded his head at her, smiling. "Yeah, it's passed. For now at least. I hate getting sick..." He wasn't sure why, just assumed he might have ate something bad maybe. Nikolai squeezed her hand gently and tilted his head. "You're not hungry? You haven't eaten in awhile...what about something simple? Toast?"
He pulled her back into the kitchen, and shut the door, glad some of the coldness had entered. "I'm going to have cereal." He smiled at her, grabbing a bowl, spoon, milk and his favorite: cinnamon toast crunch.

Magdalena smiled and shrugged. "Nah, I'm good." Really, food did not sound that appealing right now. It just had to be whatever he'd come down with. Some stomach bug going around maybe. But thankfully it wasn't that bad. Just.... ruined her appetite. Had for a few days now. She thought she'd.... well, she'd been pretty sure she'd avoided him noticing. Sometimes she forgot just how much Nikolai noticed with those seeker eyes of his.
She followed him back inside without a fuss, letting go of his hand as he went about fixing himself cereal. She sat down at the table, pulling her legs up tight against herself and rewrapped the blanket around herself and legs. Resting her head on her knees she watched as he moved about, and raised an eyebrow at his cereal choice. "Are you sure that much sugar is good after feeling sick?"

@magdalena <3 His eyes narrowed at her slowly. He actually hadn't noticed her appetite much the last few days, they'd both been quite busy with work and just...well, living together. Nothing had been too stressful as of late, but he assumed she ate when he wasn't around. But now, as he really thought about it, he couldn't actually remember the last time she did eat anything.
"What? It's my favorite. And I feel fine now..." He grinned at her as he poured the cereal into the bowl and then added some milk. He put the box and milk away where they belong and sat in front of her finally. As Nikolai took in a spoonful, he rose an eyebrow at her. "Are you sure you're alright? You look sort of...pale."

Magdalena chuckled softly and rolled her eyes. "If you get sick again, I get 'I told you so' rights." She teased. She was thankful that he did add any other sugary contents to the mix. His sweet tooth could get a little out of control sometimes. Normally she thought it was hilarious and adorable. Especially because most people thought it was the girl's that should have the sweet tooth. She did have one, just a strong dislike for cakes. Her own eyebrow raised as he again asked if she was alright. "Probably just the same bug as you. It's fine." She smiled, appreciating his concern, even though she was pretty sure it wasn't needed right now.

@magdalena <3 Nikolai scoffed at her. He knew he'd give them to her anyways, but he didn't want her to say that to him, especially if he did get sick. That wasn't fun. He actually felt miserable when he got sick, just as anyone else did. It would be nice if Magdalena stood by him when that happened. He smiled at her, but was still concerned. "If you say so...but you don't look good, Magdalena."

Magdalena yawned, not bothering to cover it, before nuzzling a little more into the blanket wrapped around her. Despite saying she wasn't tired.... That'd been a bit of a lie. She wasn't tired. Just... drained. It had to be the bug she'd caught, there wasn't any other explanation. "Mmm... I always look good. Even when sick." She joked, before pointing at the bowl in front of him. "Eat your cereal before it goes soggy." She ordered softly. She was tempted to just move to the living room now, and curl up there, but she'd wait until he was done.

@magdalena <3 Nikolai laughed. She did always look good. But she just looked, well, sick right now. He felt bad, hoping he didn't actually give her anything. But he ordered him to eat his cereal and he stuck his tongue out at her. Although he did quickly eat it. She had yawned and definitely looked like she needed to go back to sleep. Nikolai burped and grinned at her. "Excuse me." Standing up, he brought his bowl over to the sink, rinsed it out, and put it, along with the spoon, into the dishwasher. He yawned himself and nodded to her. "You ready to go back to bed?"

Magdalena rolled her eyes as he stuck his tongue out at her. "That's mature." She muttered under her breath, but she was smiling none the less. And then, of course, he had to burp. "Disgusting." She made a face at him, to make her point known. Finally though, he seemed ready to go back to bed, and she smiled. "Yeah." She let her feet drop to the ground, and then stood, holding the blanket tight around her torso.
That was when the dizziness hit. It was only a few seconds, but it felt like time slowed down for her. First, she couldn't hear anything, just a dull ringing, drowning out all other noises. Then, her vision went completely back. And finally, she felt numb. She didn't even feel herself falling, didn't realize that the blanket slipped off her shoulders a second before her body crumpled to the ground.

@magdalena <3 "Good thing you love me, immature and disgusting." Nikolai grinned widely at her, shaking his head and letting his wavy, unbrushed hair move around everywhere. He had walked over to her as soon as she had stood up and wrapped the blanket around her, but he stopped in his tracks when he looked at her face. Uh oh. Her eyes slowly rolled into the back of her head, and Nikolai felt like it had been a year as he watched her fall to the ground.
Thankfully, he moved quickly. Nikolai grabbed her right under the back as she fell, and he picked her up swiftly, lying her down on the couch. "Oh my God. Oh my God. Oh my God." His breathing was erratic, and he ran his fingers through his hair, shaking his head and looking around the room. "What do I do?" Nikolai knelt down next to her, shaking her a bit. "Magdalena! Magdalena!" He stood up and ran into the kitchen, getting a big glass of water. He ran back over to her, not even realizing that he spilt the majority of the water in the process, now only having a 1/4 of the cup filled with water. "Wake up!" He threw the water on her face, his own facial expression of fear.
