Anna was excited. Really, she didn't understand why she got so hyped up any time she was going to spend time with Oscar, but today was no different. Today they were going to practice charms, to get ready for the tournament just in case either one of them got chosen to participate in it. They could have gone to the Charms Club a few days ago, but it didn't work out. No, Anna did not forget to tell Oscar about it. And no, her forgetting was definitely not on purpose!
The thing was, she could hardly believe that she and Oscar somehow got past their first argument and spending time with him now was interesting. She was getting to know him and understand his personality and she really just enjoyed being with him. So they agreed to meet in the charms club and practice for the tournament. Actually, she had no idea what exactly they were going to be practicing, but it would be fun.
She was waiting for him right outside the classroom, in the third floor corridor. She was early, but she didn't care. She was positive that Oscar would be here soon.

It was funny, Oscar thought, that the Charms classroom happened to be located on the same floor as all of his accidental meetings with Anna. He wasn't sure what to think about the Charms lesson that they were going to have today; the history lesson hadn't gone exactly the way he had planned it, and he was worried that going in with no plan at all would end with the two of them just wasting time or goofing around. Of course, goofing around with Anna was different than goofing around with most people, because it seemed like that he managed to learn something new even when he felt like he was doing nothing at all. Anna was teaching him a lot about Hogwarts and a lot about the world at large; she was more down-to-earth than anyone else that Ozzy had met.
Upon his arrival on the third floor, Anna was easy to spot, given that there weren't all that many redheads at Hogwarts. "Anna!" Oscar said, calling her name like he had not long ago when their history lesson had begun. He was considering commenting that it was a beautiful day again, but decided the better of it. Instead, he decided to exclaim a single word, the purpose of their meeting. "Charms!"

Anna grinned when Oscar showed up, calling out a greeting to her. "Oscar," she answered, copying him and really not caring that she was doing so. She nodded when he stated what they were going to be doing. "Yup, Charms. Follow me!" Anna turned and led him to the door of the charms classroom. As fond as she was growing of the third floor corridor, she didn't want to be doing magic in it. They might get into trouble or something, which would be annoying. She'd rather just have a good time with Oscar.
Once inside the room, she turned to face Oscar, holding her hands up and shrugging at the same time, a kind of what-do-you-want-to-do gesture. "So ... what kinds of charms do you think we should practice?" Really, when they agreed to meet for this, Anna had every intention of looking up Charms and thinking about which ones would be best for the situation, but between then and now she just didn't have time. So now, here she was hoping that Oscar had an idea of what they should do. If not, they were going to have to come up with something together. Well, either that or Anna would have to do some pretty quick thinking.

Anna led the pair of them into a classroom, which Ozzy assumed was the room that they practiced Charms in. She was smarter than he was; he would’ve probably started flinging charms around in the corridor, and that would not have been the easiest way to make friends. Anna asked what kind of charms they should practice, and Ozzy was at a loss. “The fun ones?” He suggested weakly. Charms was a large area of study, and “fun charms” wasn’t that much more specific. Then again, if one, or both, of them was going to be Champion, maybe they ought to practice charms that were actually going to be of some use. “Arresto Momentum?” Oscar suggested. He looked around for something that he could throw towards Anna, so she could use the momentum-stopping spell to stop it. The more powerful version of the charm was good if a human happened to be falling and needed a quick way to stop before breaking their neck, so if there were any tasks that involved heights, it was a good place to start. Finding a pillow in a corner of the room – Ozzy didn’t know why they needed pillows in a classroom, but Britain was a strange place – Oscar threw it at Anna without warning.

Oscar suggested that they should practice the fun charms and Anna grinned. She was about to tease him, asking what defined "fun" in his mind when he suggested one. Arresto Momentum. As soon as he suggested it, she smiled and nodded. That was probably a good one to practice, since it could be used with practically anything. She watched curiously as he walked around the room, looking for something. "What are you-" Anna broke off when a pillow came flying at her without warning. "Arresto Momentum," she said quickly, stopping the pillow a short distance away from her. She started to laugh, unable to help herself even thoughshe didn't really have a reason to laugh. She grabbed the pillow and hugged it, turning away from Oscar before whipping around and flinging it in his direction. Since he threw it at her without warning, she was trying to catch him off guard also, though she doubted that would actually happen. Still, why not try to get him? It would help him practice, in the least. And if she actually did hit him, that would probably be funny too.

Oscar let out a short laugh when Anna’s sentence was caught up by the need to cast the spell on the pillow. He had been expecting her retaliation, but Oscar attempted to do the spell nonverbally. In hindsight, that probably wasn’t the best decision, considering his command of nonverbal magic was tenuous at best. The pillow didn’t slow down one bit, and it hit him square in the chest. Oscar clutched the pillow to him, making fake gasping noises. “I have been slain!” He proclaimed, slumping down onto the floor and twitching melodramatically. When he was fairly certain that Anna would be distracted by laughing at his performance, Ozzy sat up and flung the pillow at her. This had probably been the worst spell to start with, if only because they were already getting way, way off topic in order to have their impromptu pillow fight. Still, it was fun, and Ozzy let out another laugh despite the fact that his hair was definitely not looking its best after his brief romp on the floor.

Though Oscar probably knew that she had a lot of family (there were quite a fair number of red heads at Hogwarts, after all), there was no way that he knew how much the Weasleys thrived on things like this. Pillow fights? Anna knew how to combat them since she was a child. Now, she could have fun and defend herself better than Oscar probably imagined. Finally he would see her doing something she was good at. The moment the pillow left her hand, she waved her wand and non-verbally summoned two pillows from around the room. "I win," she declared, laughing when he said he'd been slain and fell on the floor, twitching. At least he was being a good sport about being hit, but she did wonder why he didn't just use the spell. He had plenty of time. She was still laughing when he threw the pillow back at her, but not so much that she couldn't stop it. However, this time she didn't use the spell. Instead she used the pillow in her right hand to deflect it while slinging the pillow in her left hand in his direction. "Not going to happen," she told him with a triumphant grin.

Anna proclaimed that she had won their brief pillow fight, and Oscar was inclined to agree. Apparently she had been prepared for this kind of situation before, and that put Ozzy at a disadvantage – his mothers were more of the erudite, read-your-books type people, not the pillow fight, laugh-until-you-cry type people. Oscar stood all the way back up, fake pouting at Anna for a moment. He did manage to catch the last pillow that she threw at him, though, so his pride wasn’t as horribly injured as it could have been. “I guess this means we need a new spell to practice.” He said, pondering what he could do. Anna had already Summoned all the pillows, but there had to be something useful in the room…Or, they could keep on using the pillows. Oscar pointed his wand at the pillow Anna was holding with a smirk. “Engorgio.” Ozzy knew that if the pillow got too big from the Engorgement Charm, it would explode, but what harm was a few feathers? They could just find another charm that would clean them up, and get more practice while doing it. And if it didn't explode, well, large pillows made for a nice bed.

Anna shrugged at his suggestion that they should practice something else, "Are you sure? I think you might want to practice that one again," she teased quickly. She couldn't help herself. If he was going to start throwing pillows at her and then get hit when she threw them back, she had to say something about it. Maybe more than one something. He pointed his wand at her and muttered something, but Anna didn't hear what he said. She jumped and dropped the pillow, taken completely by surprise when it started expanding in her hand. She bent down and picked it up as it continued to get bigger. She didn't want to give him that kind of a weapon. "What do you think you're do-" the pillow exploded in her hand and Anna shrieked for a moment, once again surprised. She blinked, trying to see Oscar through the haze of fuzz and feathers. "I can't believe you did that!" She accused with a stunned sort of laugh. What did he think he was doing? Whatever it was, there was no way he was going to get away with it. She grabbed the nearby, not-exploded pillows and dove behind a nearby table, planning her revenge as she simultaneously hid from Oscar.

Oscar waved his hands at Anna. “I could only not do it because I was stupid and tried to do it without speaking.” He told her. That was his natural cockiness seeping through a little, though being at Hogwarts had tempered it slightly. As much as he hated to admit it, the children at the English school were talented, and their professors taught them well. The one thing Oscar was talented at, apparently, was the Engorgement Charm. The pillow grew more rapidly than he had anticipated, and it therefore exploded before he could really get a handle on the size. At least it was something that had soft and fuzzy insides, Oscar thought with a laugh as fluff and feathers fell through the air like snow. Oscar smiled tauntingly at Anna when she said that she couldn’t believe that he allowed the pillow to explode. “Oh, but I did!” Oscar responded gleefully. Anna had beat a hasty retreat behind a table and a pillow, and Oscar frowned at her. “Expelliarmus!” He said, pointing his wand at her pillow. Normally the spell disarmed someone of their wand, but Oscar figured that the pillow was serving as Anna’s weapon of sorts and would be affected by the spell. If not…he was going to have to think of a plan B, and quickly.

He was probably right; what reason did he have to lie to her? Still, Anna was in a teasing mood. "What if I don't believe you?" she challenged with a grin, hoping he wouldn't get offended but taking the chance.
"I think you did that by accident!" Anna accused lightly. Apparently something about competition made her not believe him. Or it was just the competitive side in her refusing to accept defeat. Either way, Anna wasn't sure if she could change her attitude when it came to circumstances like this, especially when he was there. She felt the pillow jerk out of her hand and her smile disappeared. So that's how it was going to be? She started summoning pillows from closets that she knew weren't locked, ones that they used in class. How exactly she was going to use them against Oscar, she wasn't sure. Now that she had a small mountain of pillows beside her, she was trying to come up with a plan. Should she just attack or ... Anna wasn't sure what to do and was deliberating longer than she would like.

Oscar pouted at Anna when she asked about not believing him. “Then you would not be a very good friend!” He shot back, hoping there was enough teasing in his voice to show that he actually thought of her as a friend, and one of his best ones at that. Second best friend was a great title to have, never mind that Oscar only had two friends to start with.
Anna said that she thought he exploded the pillow by accident, and Oscar just winked at her. It was the truth, but he was never going to admit that. Anna began Summoning pillows, and it made the one that Oscar had taken by Disarming her look small in comparison. “Truce!” He called, holding the pillow up in front of his chest in case Anna decided not to take his truce seriously. Oscar considered making a joke about how the French were always raising the white flag, but considering how their history lesson had gone, he didn’t think it would make much sense to Anna. “I do not want to go against that pile of pillows.” Oscar told Anna, approaching her slowly to see if she would still attack him.

Anna laughed, "You're right, I'm not a very good friend, I'm the best kind of friend!" She didn't care that it sounded cocky. How often did Oscar say things that came off that way? All the time. So now she was going to brag about herself a little bit. She couldn't help it.
She laughed once more when Oscar called a truce. She never would have considered such a thing, but it would make this easier, seeing as how she had no idea what her plan of attack was. Looking out from the desk, she saw Oscar approaching her with the pillow held in front of her. Her eyes narrowed as she looked at him. "I'm not sure I believe you," she hedged. "I won't attack if you give me that pillow," she suggested, her lips twitching into a smile. She'd keep her word, of course, but she wasn't sure if Oscar would believe her to begin with and she didn't want to be blindsided because she believed him and he was messing around. Either way, she was sure they'd end up having fun with one another.

Oscar let out a shocked laugh when Anna said that she was the best kind of friend. He would have made a joke about how she was being cocky at the moment, but he didn’t want to be the pot calling the kettle black, so he just shook his head at her, slightly exasperated.
“You find the idea of truce funny?” He taunted her, feigning a lunge forward to keep Anna on her toes. Still, she seemed amenable to the idea of a truce… on one condition. Oscar wasn’t sure that he liked said condition – if he gave up his pillow, and Anna didn’t actually agree to the truce, he would be defenseless in her attack. Part of being friends was trusting one another, but another big part of being friends was knowing when not to trust one another. “You better not betray me.” He grumbled, tossing the pillow onto the floor at her feet. After he did that, Oscar put his wand back into his sleeve and raised his palms in a traditional ‘I surrender’ gesture, making himself the perfect target.

Anna laughed when he started teasing her about the truce. She shrugged, "To be honest, in all the pillow fights I've been in, a truce has never been an option." It was true. She and her cousins battled it out until all the pillows were destroyed or until they were just too tired to keep going. The reason she laughed at the idea of a truce was that she'd never even thought of one in a pillow fight.
He was very hesitant to give up his pillow, and Anna was ready to attack if he didn't, but to her surprise he tossed it over to her feet and then put his wand away, grumbling that she better not betray him. Anna smiled mischievously- mostly to make him nervous- and flicked her wand, not saying her spell out loud. She wasn't going to attack him, but she could have and she wanted to see if he trusted her or not. All the pillows flew back to their places and Anna grinned at Oscar. "Don't you trust me?" she asked in an innocent voice.
