Zytka was prone to taking walks. Lately, she had been taking walks in hopes of running into a certain nurse, but no one needed to know that. In any case, Zytka wasn't expecting to see Caro on her walk this morning. The first task of the Triwizard Tournament had been the day previous, and Zytka was certain that the nurses were busy making sure that all of the Champions were healing correctly. They had all taken quite a beating, in Zytka's opinion - she was glad she wasn't in their shoes. It was only when Zytka reached the Whomping Willow that she realized she had traveled much farther from the castle than she had originally intended. She was about to turn around and return so that she could be back at the castle in time for her first class of the morning when Zytka noticed someone - a student?! - sitting on the lawn near the Willow. Zytka wasn't sure whether or not they were within in the tree's range, but she still felt like it was her responsibility to make sure whoever it was was alright. She took a couple steps closer, eyeing the tree suspiciously, before calling out. "Are you alright?"

@zytka stay away from the tree they'd told him. if you found yourself near it go around it. well he had tried it and he was pretty sure that he'd have been safer running between the branches of the tree. he'd been trying to pick his way around it on some of the rocks that bordered it and it hadn't ended well. he was sitting just out of the tree's reach, which was a good thing because his wand was back in the carriage. he hadn't thought he'd need it while he was taking a walk on the grounds but he'd lost track of where he was and thought going around the tree would be safe enough. he was hunched forward, his hands gripped around his knee as it throbbed painfully. he was sure it was at the very least dislocated. he'd felt a similar sensation when he'd dislocated his shoulder falling off a broom back at home in the previous year. "Are you alright?" he heard the voice and lifted his gaze to her. he swallowed slightly as he looked up at the woman who he was sure was a teacher but it was short lived. he jumped when the tree slammed one of it's branches down just near him and he cried out in pain as he gripped his knee as the jump jolted it. he felt like a baby but this was painful. he took his lip between his teeth to stop himself from making any noise as the tree continued to try and reach him with it's branches. "i can't get up!" he called out to her over the noise the tree was making. he'd tried to stand up once but it had made him see stars so he didn't plan on trying it again.

It seemed like the only time people ever needed Zytka was when they were in pain. She didn’t exactly mind it, since she got to go to the hospital wing with them and see Caro, but every once in a while, it would be nice to have a conversation with someone who wasn’t hurt or asking her for help in Ancient Runes. It wasn’t the time to complain about that, though, and when Zytka heard the cry of pain, she began to hurry over to the student. It was at times like this that she wished Apparition was allowed on the school grounds – Zytka didn’t know what was wrong, and in this case, quicker was better. “My name is Professor Kamuntu.” Zytka said, introducing herself to the boy quickly, since she didn’t recognize him from any of her classes. “I’m going to move you a bit further away from the tree and then we can see what’s wrong, hmm?” Without pausing for an answer, Zytka motioned with her hand, and the boy floated a few feet into the air. Zytka guided them both about ten meters away, safely out of reach from the Willow’s branches. “How did you do this?” Zytka asked the boy as she knelt down beside him. It looked like it was a knee problem, but she didn’t know how to begin fixing it without knowing how he was injured in the first place.

Dastan was out looking for his brother. What was the point in having a twin if you couldn't find them when you needed them, after all? Or just when you wanted them too. Either way, Jesper was nowhere to be found and Dastan was annoyed. Then he felt it. Something was wrong with his brother. Dastan was familiar with the sensation, it seemed to happen occasionally, generally when his brother found some way to injure himself. The only problem was, the stupid sensation didn't help him find Jesper, it just let him know he was in trouble. Great.
He started jogging around on the grounds, looking for something that could possibly resemble his brother. In the distance he saw someone sitting a short distance away from the dangerous tree, with someone else walking toward them. He heard the familiar sound of his brother's voice and knew he'd been right. Dastan moved faster toward his brother and whoever was with him, nodding as he watched the sitting person float away from the tree. Probably a good idea to get farther away from that thing. As he got closer, he realized the other person was an adult, probably a teacher. Dastan didn't know what was going on, or what she knew of the situation, so he focused his attention on his brother.
"Jesper, what did you do?" He said in a somewhat accusatory tone as he approached his brother, who he could now tell was gripping his knee. He moved immediately to the other side of his brother. He looked up at the woman and shrugged apologetically, "Sorry to interrupt, he is my brother. Do you know what is wrong with him?" Obviously something with his knee, but Dastan didn't know if she'd had a chance to look at it or not.

@zytka “My name is Professor Kamuntu.” jesper nodded as he looked up at the teacher. well professor. he bit his lip hard as a pain shot up from his knee toward his hip and he gripped the fabric of his jeans. "i'm j-jesper" he said to her as she started to talk again. “I’m going to move you a bit further away from the tree and then we can see what’s wrong, hmm?” he nodded but he didn't think she'd been waiting for him to say it was okay. he was suddenly lifted into the air and it took all he had in him not to yell out again in pain as he floated away from the tree. it seemed to be any sort of movment in his lower body was enough to send his injured knee into spasms of agony. “How did you do this?” he swallowed as he recovered from being put back onto the ground. he closed his eyes and took a few deep breathes, trying to settle the stars he could now see and the churning in his stomach that he was certain was being caused by the pain. "i s-slipped on a rock .. trying to go around the tree. my knee hit a rock" he ground out of his mouth, hoping she didn't take offense at his tense manner. it just hurt. a lot. "Jesper, what did you do?" he looked up to see his brother there, the mirror image of him. he'd been wondering when he'd turn up. they were twins that knew when the other was in trouble. "fell .." he said as he breathed out and lurched to the side suddenly as his body let out more than just air. he retched his lunch onto the grass next to where he'd been sitting and he brought a hand to his mouth when he'd finished. "oh go .. i'm so s-sorry" he said as he closed his eyes. "i can't feel my toes now" he said quietly as he looked back to the teacher. this was bad right? it was really bad. she'd moved him ten meters and it had hurt him that much he'd thrown up! how on earth were they going to get back into the castle ..

Zytka wasn’t pleased with the way the situation was panning out. Moving the student the small distance she had to get him away from the tree had caused him to vomit, which meant he was in a great deal of pain. Then his brother appeared on the scene, and Zytka was left supervising not one injured student, but one injured and one healthy ones. It wasn’t difficult for her to stay calm – that was who she was – but the situation was spiraling beyond what she had expected when she had seen the figure form the difference. “I don’t know what’s wrong with him yet.” Zytka replied when the brother of the boy – Jesper – spoke. It was important for Zytka to emphasize the word yet. She didn’t want either of the students to panic because they thought that the knee injury was incurable or something along those lines. Severely damaging, yes, but Zytka was confident that the moment they got back to the school, Caro could fix Jesper up.
Knowing how the situation came to be helped Zytka somewhat, but the fact that Jesper could no longer feel his toes wasn’t comforting. “Jesper, how do you feel about being Stupefied?” Zytka asked. It was the only way she could think that would keep him out of pain long enough to transport him to the castle. Zytka looked at Jesper’s twin, and blinked at him, trying to find a way to make him useful. “If he’s not comfortable with that, or even if he is, I’m going to need you to go ahead to the castle so that the nurses know he’s coming.” Zytka was certain they could move quickly, but a little bit of advanced notice was also helpful. If Jesper did agree to be Stupefied, Zytka was left only with the conundrum of how to move him. Levitating him would be dangerous if his muscles were limp, and Levicorpus would injure his knee…Zytka had just solved one problem with another.

Dastan knew that this was a whole lot worse than he thought when Jesper vomited on the ground. He nodded when the teacher told him that she didn't know what was wrong. Yet. He noticed the word, but he didn't worry about it. Somehow, Dastan felt completely calm. He didn't know what he was supposed to do to help, but at least he could be there for his brother. Then Jesper said that he couldn't feel his toes and Dastan looked to the teacher, waiting to see what she thought should be done. After all, she was the authority figure in all this.
He nodded when she told him he should go to the castle. "Now?" Dastan asked, ready to do something but also hesitating at the thought of leaving Jesper in such obvious pain. He knew he'd be helping, but if she was going to wait before doing anything, he didn't want to leave. "Do you need me to do anything before I go?" he added, just wanting to make sure that he didn't leave both Jesper and this professor in trouble because he was anxious to do something.

@zytka “Jesper, how do you feel about being Stupefied?” his eyes widened a little at her suggestion. stupefy him? she wanted to stun him? wouldn't that just cause more damage? it was a spell used to take down people you were fighting against. not something he'd ever use on someone that was injured. he shook his head and looked at her. "n-no! what .. d-don't you guys have stretchers .. or something" he said as he bit his lip against the pain as it pulsed up from his knee and into his thigh. he groaned a little and leaned forward slightly as his brother and the teacher converesed over him about dastan going into the castle before them to let them know they were coming. "Do you need me to do anything before I go?" jesper reached his hand to grasp onto his brothers wrist and he lifted his face to look at him. "d-don't let her stun me" he said as he chewed his lip and closed his eyes, he was trying to stay calm and trying not to panic but it was hard in that very moment. he couldn't feel his toes, his leg felt like it was on fire and being twisted in a million different directions and he was trying to keep himself thinking clearly but it wasn't going well.

The two brothers seemed to be having two vastly different reactions to the situation, which might have been due to the fact that only one of them was injured, or that one of them was just a more even-keeled person than the other. Zytka dealt with the calm one, the uninjured one, first. “Now would be preferable.” Zytka said calmly in response to his question about leaving now. “I believe we’ll be fine here.” The boy on the ground would probably disagree, but Zytka knew that the most important thing in any sort of crisis was to be sure of yourself – any amount of doubt would just send things spiraling downwards.
Turning to the injured brother, Zytka responded to his question, too. “Yes, but all of them are back at the castle.” She said. “The students know better than to get too close to the Willow, and the only other dangerous part of the grounds is the Forbidden Forest which is, as you can tell from its nomenclature, forbidden to students unless they have a faculty member accompanying them.” Zytka paused to re-examine the situation, and then decided their best bet would be to immobilize the knee as much as possible. With a wave of her hand, Zytka cast an immobilizing spell on the knee. “Is that any better?”

Dastan nodded when the teacher told him he should leave now and Dastan moved, about to stand up and leave when Jesper grabbed his wrist. Dastan's eyes instantly met his twins as he heard the plea to not let her stun Jesper. Dastan looked up at the teacher once more, hoping that she had an alternative idea, because he had a hard time refusing his brother when he was clearly in so much pain. "Jesper, if you don't want to be stunned, I don't think she will stun you," he said, trying to be reassuring as he gently pried his wrist out of his brother's grasp. "I will be right back; I promise." Dastan knew Jesper wouldn't like him leaving, but he felt like he needed to do as the professor said. Let the hospital wing know that Jesper was coming. Once that was done, he would hurry back to his brother's side, of course. He stood and ran quickly to the hospital wing, glad that Gwen gave him a tour of the castle. At least he knew where he was supposed to go. Slightly winded, he informed the staff what happened and that his brother would be there shortly, that a professor was bringing him and then he turned around and rushed out of the Hospital Wing without another thought.
Jesper still seemed to be in the same spot, Dastan noticed as he raced back to his brother. He always felt bad being away from him when Jesper was in pain. As he reached the pair, he put his hands on his knees and gasped for air. He hadn't run that far that quickly in a while and was quite out of breath. "Th-they said that they are ready for you to bring him," he told the professor in between deep breaths of air. Then he turned his attention to Jesper, kneeling beside him. "How are you feeling?" he asked, wondering if the professor found some way to relief the pain even just a little.

@zytka & @dastan "Jesper, if you don't want to be stunned, I don't think she will stun you, I will be right back; I promise." he let his brothers wrist do when das pried it out of his hand carefully and he let his hand drop against the grass as he lay back, resting his head back toward the ground and stared at the sky above him, the clouds starting to look more fluffy than they had before. he blinked and took a deep breath against the pain that was still radiating out from his knee. he heard his brother's footsteps getting further and further away until he was out of earshot and while there was a teacher with him he still couldn't help but feel alone. “Yes, but all of them are back at the castle. The students know better than to get too close to the Willow, and the only other dangerous part of the grounds is the Forbidden Forest which is, as you can tell from its nomenclature, forbidden to students unless they have a faculty member accompanying them.” he lifted his hand to press against his eyes and he nodded his head slightly. "i t-tried to keep out of it's way .. i-it didn't hurt me" he said as he closed his eyes and took another deep breath. he didn't really feel like getting sick again and the breathing was helping. suddenly as if by some miracle his knee felt a little less agonizing than it had in the last second. “Is that any better?” he breathed a sigh of relief and nodded a little, taking solace in the fact that the pain had lessened. he heard dastan's voice in the next moment and he rolled his head back to see his brother as he kneeled beside him. "How are you feeling?" he nodded slightly and lifted his head slightly. "better .. " he said as he looked at the teacher. he still wasn't sure how they were going to get into the castle since they didn't have stretches down here.
