@braelynn @emily - later The day was his. Andrew had the day off and was ecstatic about it. However when he woke, he realized Emily would be at Hogwarts covering the triwizard tournament. Which was also where Ranger was. So he was alone. Alone, except for his brother's fennec fox. somehow he had gotten ropped into watching the cute little terror. Andrew wasn't much of an animal person. He hadn't thought Zander was either, though apparently he was wrong. So, it was Andrew and Lynn. All. Day. Long. There was only one thing for it. He was going to have to watch that movie again. Surely it couldn't be as good as he remembered. There was only one way to find out. Thankful that Emily had a muggle television and had taught him how to use it... once. He grabbed the movie and the stick that she called a remote. If he pushed a button it should turn the thing on... After a few minutes, many buttons, and only one frustrated spell, the movie was beginning to play. He plopped down on the couch, some chocolate frogs and a muggle treat, pop-corn, his company was the credits rolled through the screen. He settled into the cushions and got ready to enjoy his movie fest, when he saw the fox out of the corner of his eye. He glanced at herand purced his lips. then he rolled his eyes at himself, sighing. "Come here, Lynn." he said in a sing song voice, patting the couch next to him. He probably could use some company to watch Pride and Prejuidice. He was not going to cry this time.

Braelynn felt like she'd been spending a lot of time at Andrew and Emily's lately. Zander had been picking up a lot of momentum with his music, and so, on days when he wanted her to get out of the apartment she was over there. Chilling as a fox. Typically, those days were spent just staring out a window until Andrew or Emily got back form work. Then just watching them for awhile, pretending to be a normal fox, until Zander picked her up. Today though Andrew was home all day. With her. Definitely would be interesting. Currently, she as perched up in the windowsill, tail swishing back and forth as she watched Andrew attempt to get the muggle technology working. If she could, she'd probably be smiling, maybe even laughing. He was struggling, and it was hilarious. She had no idea what he was trying to do though.
Eventually, the dark screen of the 'tv' light up, and he seemed to have accomplished what he was doing. Her little fox eyes widened, and her ears perked up as he said her name. Andrew was calling her to him. She stared at him for a moment, her little head tilting dramatically to the side . After a few moments, she finally stood up, hopped off the windowsill and silently crossed the room. Might as well indulge in whatever it was he was up to, they had the whole day together after all. With another hop, she was on the couch next to him. She chirped ever so softly, as if to ask what he was up to.

@braelynn The fox, Lynn, jumped down from the window and jumped up to the spot he patted. Well at least it was obedient. It chirped, a kind of cute little noise, yet inquisitive. He scratched the top of her head. "We're just gonna watch this movie. And you watch, Lynn, this guy is going to keep dry eyes the whole time." he said absently then realized he was talking to a fox. He looked down at her then decided he didn't care. The credits ended and the movie began. "It is a truth universally acknowledged, that a single man in possession of a good fortune, must be in want of a wife" He nodded. "True, even though I didn't know it before." he muttered, which was weird, cause he didn't normally talk to himself. It was the darn fox, whom he couldn't seem to stop petting.

Braelynn really liked being scratched, especially on the top of her head or behind her ears. Immediately she leaned into his hand, moving her head against his hand to encourage him to keep petting her. As he went on about watching a movie, and him going to be dry eyed, she chirped again. Did he think he was going to cry? She wouldn't hold it against him. After all, she was just a fox right now. And the only one she'd tell would be Zander.
The movie started, and she turned her head to watch, her eyes wide. She'd never watched a movie before. Heard of them, yes, but seen? No. She was from a wealthy Pure Blood family that was disgusted with muggles. This would be her first movie. Whatever this movie was. Her ears rotated as he spoke, and she looked back at him, an almost... curious look on fox face. Did he mean himself and Emily? It was always interesting how people felt such a need to 'talk' to her when she was a fox. Even though it made them feel silly. So, lightly, as if to reassure him that he wasn't being silly by talking to her, she licked the tip of his fingers on her head, then looked back at the tv to watch the movie.

@braelynn Andrew glanced donw at Lynn, briefly. She was pretty cute. She licked his finger and a smile crept onto his face. They both had their eyes glued to the TV. It didn't take long for Andrew to lean forward in his seat, hand still absently scratching Lynn's head. Why were Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy so mad at each other? Couldn't they see they were made for each other? He shook his head at the screen, speaking quickly to the fox. "This is why communication is important." Which was the truth, but movies like this just made it hit home for him. It was only a little while later when the tears started coming. At first he didn't notice them. He was still leaning forward, glued to the screen. He only noticed when one dripped from his cheek onto his hand. Looking at the treacherous tear he let out a sigh, shaking his head at himself. A hand went up to wipe his eyes. "Don't tell Emily." he said to Lynn.

As the movie started, Braelynn was immediately confused. What was going on? They weren't using modern English, which immediately gave Braelynn, who was natively french, a hard time. As it went on though, it started coming to her. From what she could tell, the one girl hated the one guy, but she didn't really get why. His comment on communication made her nod her head.
Braelynn settled down on the couch, curling up into a tight ball next to Andrew, his hand still on her head, and her head resting on the fabric of the couch beneath. Her eyes were positively glued to the tv. The movie was starting to make more and more sense, the farther they watched. And for some reason... Well Braelynn felt a connection to the movie. It was all about marriage, and finding the person you loved, even though society was trying so hard to tell them to marry for status. She could relate to that. Her parents had tried to do do that to her. His sudden motion got her attention, and she lifted her head to look at him. Her ears perked up and rotated forward as she spotted the tear. Hah, hadn't he said he would't cry? She chirped as he asked her not to tell Emily. It was almost like she was agreeing to not tell the other woman. It wasn't like she could, anyway. She was a fox, remember?

@braelynn Andrew nodded to Lynn. Her chirp was a bonding agreement to his emotional mind. He was suddenly glad that she was curled up next to him. The amout of emotions coming from this movie was not something he had anticipated. Sitting back, he took a deep breath, letting the tears flow freely as the movie came to it's climax. He was such a wimp. Continuing to scratch her head, he snuggled down so he was closer to the small animal. He could see why Zander got her now, she was an amazing comfort, not to mention kinda cute.

It seemed after her 'promise' not to tell Emily Andrew stopped holding back. Like, serious crying. Periodically as the movie went on she would turn her head and look at him, amazed by the amount of crying going on. She never would have taken him for a crier! And for such a... romantic, sentimental story! Aw, it looked like someone had a soft side. If she could smile, she would. Actually, it almost looked she was, in a foxish sort of way.
Along with petting, Braelynn also liked cuddling when she was a fox. As the movie progressed, Andrew and settled down and pulled himself closer to her, and so had she. Eventually though, she let out a large yawn, stretched, and stood. She wasn't leaving though, Instead, she turned to look at him, nuzzled his hand before settling down next to him once more. This time her head was resting on his lap.

@braelynn Had Andrew been able to look away from the screen he would have seen the smile, thought it was odd, and probably given himself a headache thinking about it. Luckily, it was getting to his favorite part of the movie, so he didn't look down. Lynn earned herself a glance when she stood up and nuzzled his head. For a moment he panicked, she was going to get up and leave. Which was a strange sensation, fearing that he wouldn't be able to snuggle with a small, furry animal. But then she settled back down, resting her head on his lap. She seemed just as engrossed as he was. He alarm settled into comfort and his hand found it's way back to Lynn's head. He should have gotten some tissues or something, but it was too late now. Lynn was settled, which meant he wasn't about to move. As the movie began to wrap up Andrew took a deep shaky breath and closed his eyes and the credits rolled. "Still good." he muttered as he rested his head on the wall. A smile fell on his lips. "Yep. Sill good. Did you like it?" he asked Lynn, opening his eyes to glance at her without moving.

The movie ended sooner then she thought it would, but to be honest Braelynn hadn't known how long she expected. For a first muggle movie, it hadn't been that bad. But the whole time she found herself wondering why the main characters hadn't just admitted they liked each other sooner. She didn't even realize it was over though until he spoke, saying that it was 'still good', and asking if she'd liked it. Oh, so that was what those names rolling across the screen meant. Bay lifted her head to look at him, ears perking back up. They'd almost been completely flat as she'd relaxed there, almost dozing at the end. A moments contemplation and then she cooed softly. It was good, people were crazy, but the movie was good. She rolled onto her back, stretching as far as she could on the couch. Rolling back onto her side, she nuzzled back up against him after, her nose pressed against the palm of his hand.

@braelynn @emily or @zander should probs come now Well the fox liked it. If that wasn't validation, Andrew didn't know what was. She rolled over onto her belly as she stretched, which was cute. The nuzzeled into his hand again. He scratched behind her ears, then on her belly. Maybe he should rethink the whole animal thing. Lynn wasn't bad at all. He sighed again. "That was what Emily and I watched on our second date." he said with a whistful smile, thinking back to the night. IHe was content to just sit there, basking in his emotions.

Emily had worked late as usual and was incredibly tired upon coming home. She arrived, opened the door and dropped her bag without even looking up. Finally, she did, and she saw Andrew and Lynn on the couch
Now, Emily had suspicions about that fox that she hadn't told anyone. Lynn? Come on. The way Zander panicked when he thought it was in trouble? Let's be real. Still, Emily wasn't going to call out her suspicions to Zander and Lynn. She was at least respectful of that.
She tilted her head to the side at the sight of them. "Puffy eyes and snuggles? You must have been watching Pride and Prejudice."

Braelynn's four little legs kicked a bit as he rubbed her stomach and chirped excitedly. It almost sounded as if she was laughing, in a while. Adorable little fox laughter. She wrapped her little paws around his wrist and lightly nipped at his fingers. Normally Braelynn was not the 'playing' sort, but as she and Zander had discovered, she took on a more normal fox personality when in animal form. Which meant.. playing. Randomly. She always felt so embarrassed afterwards, as if ashamed of her unladylike behavior. But right now, she wasn't in the regret stage. She was in the 'Oh look! Something to play with!' phase still.
That is, until Emily walked in. Now, Braelynn had absolutely nothing against the older girl. In fact, Bay liked her quite a bit. She was absolutely brilliant and Bay wished desperately to have intellectual debates with her. But she always felt like Emily knew more then she should. Like the way she'd look at Braelynn. Almost as if she could see through the whole charade. It was unnerving, and made Bay wary. The little fox froze, her large eyes trained on Emily while her paws remained wrapped around Andrew's wrist.

@emily @braelynn Andrew didn't notice the front door opening being too preoccupied in playing with this fox who was becoming known at the adorable fox in his head. Emily's bag dropping alerted him to her presence and he looked up, the fox doing the same though she tensed as well. A huge smile split across Andrew's face, as always she was the only person he wanted to see. And, as always, her observations were incredibly astute. "You guessed it. Did you know the movie gets better the second time you watch it? Seriously, Em, it is crazy amazing. I can't believe wizards are so stupid that they don't watch these dvg things." He said, leaning back on the couch and scouping Lynn up in his hands to set her on his lap, cradling his hand around her protectively. He patted the couch next to him for Emily, extending his arm as an invitation for more snuggles.

The more Emily eyed that fox the more she was convinced that her theory about that fox was true. Still, she wasn't going to say anything. She was just a tad weirded out by it snuggling her boyfriend, since she thought it was a human and all, but eh- it wasn't unlike animagi to act like their animal form while in it for a long time. "DVD, darling," she corrected, moving forward to take that spot on the couch and allow his arm to go around her. "And yes, I did know it gets better every time. There are a lot of muggle things that wizards are stupid for not using," she chuckled. She was one of those firm believers in mingling the two worlds together, but alas, she could see the bad in that too. "So, how has your day been?" she looked at Andrew first, but her eyes flickered to the fox.
