Eleanor beamed brightly as Cyrus suggested they leave tomorrow. “We could leave tonight, when the clock strikes twelve. Disappear into the night, not caring about leaving anything behind,” she declared, planting a kiss on his lips. Tomorrow would of course be better; Ella had some things packed already due to just being excited about taking a real vacation with Cyrus, but it was all her basic amenities and not clothes. First vacation with her boyfriend; they’d obviously spent time together over summer holidays while they were dating in school, but it was always supervised, usually by one of her parents. Mostly her dad; he was more accustomed to his daughter being a witch and dating a wizard, and as a sports enthusiast got along with Cyrus well. This time it would be just the two of them; they were adults now and didn’t need a chaperone. They could stay out as late (or early) as they wanted, or spend the entire day in bed enjoying each others company. It didn’t matter what they did to her - just so long as he was there. Of course, Ella already had done her research on Paris; when Cyrus had suggested a vacation, she had looked up the best restaurants in a few cities, but her Paris list was the most detailed. “I have a list of places we need to eat, and we need to climb to the top of the Eiffel Tower,” she said, almost breathlessly. “What is on your list of things to do in Paris?” she asked him with a smile.

Cyrus could not help the smile that spread across his lips when Eleanor's lips met his for a moment, after she suggested they leave tonight. "That sounds like a lovely idea," he agreed, pulling her in closer to him for another kiss. It wasn't actually as far-fetched as it sounded. Cyrus had, naturally, packed a day or two ago since he had been planning the whole thing. And since he had been planning on her not saying no to leaving tomorrow, he had packed prior to the ball so he could enjoy it. So this was just even better! "No one I'd rather disappear off into the night with than you, Ella," he beamed at the brunette.
It was only natural for Eleanor to have come up with lists of places to eat or things to do in potential cities. The very thought of Ella sitting at a desk, daydreaming and writing it all down brought a huge grin to Cyrus once again. Merlin, he was still head over heels for this girl. "I was thinking we could also take a night cruise on a boat along the Seine River. Visit the Sacré-Cœur, as well." Paris was the most romantic city in the world. So, why not do all the corny, romantic things!?

Eleanor smiled as she turned her body to face his so she could wrap her arms properly around his neck. "Right back at you Cy," she said, accepting his kiss with a small smile. She stood on her toes before letting out a small, exhilerated sound and her smile widened into a beam. "Oh this is going to be amazing," she breathed, twirling around in her dress before looking back over at him. It had been eleven years since she had first laid eyes on the man in front of her, but Cyrus could still make her heart beat faster and slower at the same time. She had no idea how he did that, but it made her feel like the most important woman in the world, because he only had eyes for her. She stepped forward and took his hand in hers when he listed off a few more places they should go. "Ooh yes, lets watch the sun set from the Sacre Coeur steps and then head to La Tour Eiffel for the lights show. Drink French wine, eat French cheese in the Jardins de Luxemborg like the locals do." Ella stopped her rambling to give a contented sigh. "But let's not plan out too much," she added with a sheepish giggle. Things just seemed to fall into place whenever she was with Cyrus; she knew whatever they got up to it'd be wonderful, if only because they were together. "As long as it's you and me, it'll be the best trip," she confirmed, squeezing his hand before tugging him back towards the Great Hall. "Come on, let's go back and waltz around some more, then we can do a different kind of dancing later on," she suggested, a sly smile gracing her lips. @cyrus

Seeing the look on Eleanor's face brought the utmost joy to the Quidditch player. It was so hard to look at Eleanor Percival and not smile on a regular day, but when she was happy too, it was positively radiant all throughout her body. When she stepped back to twirl in her dress, Cyrus didn't even bother to hide his smile. There was no doubt in his mind as he stared at the happy woman in front of him that he was the luckiest man in the world.
Cyrus was happy to hear all of the things Eleanor wanted to do. And while planning little and being spontaneous did sound fun, Cy wanted to make sure he helped Eleanor do everything she wanted to do. This was their dream vacation and they were finally going together. It had to be perfect. Though, he knew as long as he was with her, it would be. Cyrus held tightly to her hand just as she did to his. "This will be the trip of a lifetime, I promise you that," he smiled at the brunette When she began tugging him back toward the Great Hall, Cyrus did not object. And at her suggestion for later in their evening, Cyrus couldn't help the laugh that escaped his lips as he wrapped both his arms around Eleanor's waist and lifted her up once, twirling her around before setting her back down when they were back on the dance floor. He stopped for a moment before putting his forehead to hers and looking closely into her eyes. "I love you, Ella."
