Dastan nodded at her invitation, not really sure what else to say, so he didn't say anything at all. Then she started moving on to the struggles that Hogwarts was having lately and Dastan's smile faded, "Yes, I know," he told her, wanting to let her know she didn't have to inform him about everything that happened last year. "I had not thought about it like that before. I guess I will not worry about talking to other professors then," he concluded, offering a small smile. "That is okay. I have found a few friends here that I can talk about Quidditch with." Really, as long as he could play Quidditch, he didn't care who saw him or who was watching.

“May I inquire as to whom?” Zytka asked when Dastan said he had a friend to discuss Quidditch with. “Anyone I would know?” Even if it wasn’t someone she taught, Zytka was familiar with most of Hogwarts, at least in being able to recognize their faces. And if it was a foreign student, then Zytka now had an excuse to talk to them, which she was never going to say no to. “If you ever have an itch to know about anything outside of the European scope, I hope you will know who to turn to.” Rarely did students seem to care much about Uagadou, but Zytka made a point of mentioning it as often as possible in hopes that it would spark at least some kind of interest.

She asked who Dastan talked about Quidditch with and he smiled. "Well there are two of them. One is from Durmstrang and his name is Daniel, so I don't know if you would know him. The other is from Hogwarts. Her name is Jamie. I don't know either of their last names though ..." he trailed off, thinking about that. Why hadn't he asked for a last name? It would be much easier to reference them if he knew their last names. Oh well. He smiled and nodded, "When I have questions I will come to you then," he told her. Realistically, he probably would take her up on that offer. Dastan just liked to learn about things.

Not one, but two Quidditch friends? Zytka was beginning to think that she needed lessons on friendship-building from Dastan, considering he had now successfully made twice the amount of friends that she had at Hogwarts, despite the fact that he had only been there for a fraction of the time. Dastan was right in assuming that she didn’t know the Daniel boy, but Jamie, she had a guess at. “One of the Quidditch team captains is Jamie Greyback. Is that perhaps who you’re speaking of?” Zytka asked. She didn’t recall any other students with that name, but she didn’t see every Hogwarts student, either. Dastan agreed to come to her if he had any questions, and Zytka nodded happily. “Please do. I love to talk.” Which wasn’t always evident, but was the truth.

He smiled and shrugged when she said that his friends might be Jamie Greyback. "Probably. I don't remember getting a last name, but if she's a chaser then I would have to say that it's her." He remembered her position, so that would probably help him narrow it down. He wasn't sure if there were lots of Jamie's in the school or not, but he might as well give it a try. He chuckled a little when she said she liked to talk, "Oh really? What do you like to talk about most?" He knew that she might not want to answer that kind of a question, but he couldn't keep himself from answering it. He was curious.

Zytka blinked when Dastan said if Jamie was a Chaser, then that was probably the girl he had met. From what Zytka had learned of Quidditch since she was at Hogwarts, the Greyback girl was indeed a Chaser, and the professor nodded. Dastan asked what she liked best to talk about, and Zytka smiled. “I like to talk about my home.” Zytka answered, eyes shining. “I am from Uganda, and very rarely do students wish to talk about it, I’m afraid.” Students rarely wished to talk, period, it seemed, but even when they did talk, it seemed hard to direct the conversation to the village where she had grown up, or even the country or continent at a whole.

Dastan was surprised when the professor told him that she was from Uganda. To be entirely honest, he wasn’t entirely sure where it was, other than in Africa, but that was very interesting. He smiled and shrugged a little bit, “I am probably not like the rest of your students. I am not from here either so I would love to hear about Uganda, as long as you are willing to listen to me talk about my home.” That was a fair trade, wasn’t it? However, now probably wasn’t the time. He looked around himself once more and realized that it was starting to get dark and even fewer people are on the grounds. “However, it seems as though it is time for dinner, so we’ll have to talk about this another time, if you don’t mind,” he added politely, hoping that she would not think he was being rude. Still, it was dinner time and food was rather important. Surely she would understand. “It was nice to meet you Professor Kamuntu.” Dastan started to walk away quickly, in a rush to get back to the Great Hall. Maybe there would still be a seat near Gwen.
