Sure, Lily snuck into the prefects bathroom often. It wasn't that hard to do when you had connections. She was in there now, and forgot to lock the door. Oops? Okay, wasn't it supposed to lock itself? She didn't know, but she didn't bother to check either. She had just finished taking a nice, long bath there when she heard someone outside the door. Oh, were they going to open it? She squeaked as the door started to open. She wrapped her towel around herself quickly and ducked behind the shower spout thingymicgigger.
She giggled, covering her mouth with her hang after a moment. Maybe the prefects had some special way of locking the door that she wasn't aware of, or maybe someone was told that there was a non prefect in here. Still, she had snuck in via not the door after all so... maybe it was just someone coming to take a bath.

It wasn’t often he got the chance to actually use the prefect’s bathroom. To say it was a luxury was an understatement. The other prefects had decided on using a system so that they could each have an allotted amount of time to use it each week. Not a bad idea. He wished he had come up with it. Finally it was his turn. Towel and bathroom necessities in hand, Scorpius waltzed into the bathroom, positive that he was finally going to have a few minutes to relax, something that had become increasingly more difficult in the common room. He was so preoccupied with this thought, that it completely slipped by him that the door was already unlocked, or opened for that matter. It didn’t take long for him to put two and two together once he was all the way into the bathroom though.
As far as he was concerned, no one else had been granted time before him today, so the draining tub, the semi-translucent steam floating around, and pile of clothes laying on the floor meant that someone other than a prefect was in there. The door wouldn’t have let him in if it had been one of his associates. “Come on out.” He took a second glance at the clothes. They belonged to a girl. Scorpius rolled his eyes. He could hear the giggling too, he wasn’t stupid. “I’ll step back out so you can get dressed, but we’re going to have a nice little chat when you come out.” He turned back around and headed for the door, hoping that the girl would do as he said. The last thing he wanted to do was contact the prefect on duty, seeing as it was most likely going to be Ondina that came along.

Lily's eyes widened as she peaked around the corner to see Scorpius freaking Malfoy walking in with all his bath necessities. She tried really hard not to gasp or laugh, but it was getting difficult as he came into the room further and found her clothes and other evidence of her being here. But, alas, a small giggle escaped her.
“Come on out.” He said and she froze, her eyes going even wider and her laughter bubbling up in her stomach even more. He turned around, saying that he'd let her get dressed before talking with her. She giggled again, coming from around the corner.
She did not pick up her clothes, however, but instead took her sweet time walking over to him before tapping him on the shoulder.

The giggling didn’t cease as he walked towards the exit of the bathroom. This was just a slight annoyance, on top of many others that had been building up. Once the girl came out, he’d probably just give her a warning and let her off. Unfortunately that meant the password would have to get changed again. One of the prefects had let it slip earlier in the term as well.
The pattering of feet across the bathroom floor told him enough that she was doing as instructed, so he didn’t have to fear giving more orders. This situation was laughable on his end, probably embarrassing on hers. The last thing he wanted to do was make it harder on both of them.
Taking a few more steps, Scorpius felt a small tap on his shoulder. He froze. There was no way the girl had enough time to get her clothes on. There was also no way that he was going to turn around now. Thankfully the mirrors over the sinks that were in front of him were still fogged up. “Sorry, not taking any questions right now. Get your clothes on and we’ll talk about it in the corridor.” Scorpius said sternly. Maybe that would get through to the girl.

Lily waited as Scorp froze at her touch. He spoke, being rather stubborn, which wasn't surprising for the Malfoy child. Lily giggled again, "awe, come on Scorp," she said sweetly, flattening her hand on his shoulder and using her other to make sure the towel stayed in place, "afraid if you see another Weasley naked you'll completely explode?" okay, okay, so that was kind of rude, but it was funny!!!
She sighed, "I mean, I guess I don't actually have the same last name, so maybe that's my problem," she pouted, even though he couldn't see her. She didn't move yet, though, she was having far too fun making Scorpius feel uncomfortable. "I have a towel, kid," she added.

The voice that accompanied the hand that was now pressed against his shoulder definitely explained some of the things that were going on in the bathroom. Of course it had to be Lily. He didn’t like to think that whenever there was trouble, she was attached to it in some way, but it happened more often than not. He couldn’t recall ever hearing about her breaking into the prefect’s bathroom before though. Scorpius sighed. He definitely hadn’t anticipated going to the bath ad being greeted with a ball of energy. That was the last thing he wanted. “I-” he started on about the comment concerning seeing Weasleys naked. He caught his tongue in time though.
Before he could respond, Lily was off on a tangent about how technically she wasn’t a Weasley and what not. Wasn’t her mum one? That was close enough in his books. Not that he was keen on seeing “another one” naked. There wasn’t even “one” yet. She continued on about having a towel on and Scorpius shook his head. “You also have clothes right over there.” He lifted his arm up to point in the direction of them. Albus would kill him if he ever caught wind of this, even if it wasn’t really his fault to start. Let the imagination run wild and any kind of strange stories could come out of it.

He sighed, naturally. He tried to speak, but she had stumped him. Sadly, he shook his head and pointed out her clothes again. He was stubborn. She huffed, removing her hand from his shoulder and crossing over to them. "Fine, don't peak," she said, grabbing her clothes and moving to hide again, getting dressed. She took her very, very sweet time doing so. She feigned a yawn and poked her head out from her hiding spot partway through, "sorry I had to interrupt your bath time, Scor. Had you come twenty minutes sooner..." she laughed loudly and it echoed throughout the room. Now that would have been embarrassing.
She was fully clothed now as she came out of her hiding place and used the towel to dry her hair. "It's safe now. Not as fun, but safe," she called over to him.

She finally walked away. Scorpius assumed that meant she was listening to him and putting her clothes on. That was confirmed as she told him not to peak. “I wasn’t planning on it. Unlike some, I have morals.” At least enough not to look, those same morals told him it was fine to flip-flop back and forth between snogging Ondina and Rose almost effortlessly. There was something wrong in his head for that to seem normal. “It’s fine.” He lied. Scorp wasn’t angry at her, more annoyed that she was wasting his time alone. Putting it that way made it seem like he had something to hide. It was more like this was the only place he knew he could think freely without being bombarded with prefect duties or classwork. Lily laughed loudly about him possibly getting their earlier. He almost had, thankfully he had been held up in the common room for that amount of time. That definitely would have been awkward, mostly for him, since it seemed like Lily really didn’t care.
Half-turning his head around to make sure she was actually clothed, Scorpius was relieved to see he wasn’t being tricked. Completing the turn, he couldn’t help but laugh at her comment. “Not everything that’s fun has to be reckless.” He could think of quite a few things actually. Snapping his fingers together as he thought, Scorpius remembered one of them. “Ever been to one of those muggle amusement parks? They have these things called roller coasters and they drive you around extremely fast and go upside down. It’s probably as close to flying on a broom as they can get. But they’re really safe and fun. At least that’s what I’ve heard.”

Hah, morals. From what she had heard she wasn't entirely sure if that was true, but Lily did like to give people the benefit of the doubt. Plus, she could understand not committing to one person romantically. She'd never done that and couldn't see herself doing it in the near future, as far as she was concerned. His little 'it's fine' wasn't convincing, though, but Lily was fine to just let him lie. There was no reason to press the issue, at least not yet. Pestering him about other things seemed like much more fun, anyway.
He didn't turn all the way around at once, which was a smart move on his part. Lily was known to be tricksy, so he'd made a good choice. He said that not everything fun had to be reckless and Lily scoffed. But then he was snapping his fingers and talking about... roller coasters? Was he crazy? She laughed, walking back over to him, "of course I know what a roller coaster is, Scor. My father was raised by muggles after all," she said, rolling her eyes at him. "They are safe and fun. Maybe a little too safe sometimes," she challenged. "Come on," she said, reaching her hand out and grabbing onto his before moving to back toward the door, "Didn't you want to do this talking outside? Or would you rather stay in here with me? We can get the bubbles going again," she grinned mischievously, the joke was still not old to her!

That’s right. The great Harry Potter was raised by muggles. His own father mentioned that every now and then, but as far as Scorpius was concerned, there was a sense of respect to it. He knew the stories, the relationship his father had with Lily and Albus’s, so it was strange to see that it had all changed over the years.
Scorpius shrugged his shoulders at the comment about roller coasters being too safe. Muggles loved their safety contraptions, always afraid that something terrible was going to happen to them. They needed to learn to live a little. Then again, they weren’t lucky enough to have the medical skills that the magical folk had, so maybe it wasn’t right to hold that against them. “But you have been on one right?” That seemed like a stupid question to ask, but there was no way Lily hadn’t. She probably would have begged and pleaded to go.
She reached out and grabbed his arm, trying to drag him back towards the door. At this point it didn’t matter where they had their little chat. Inside the bathroom or out, the conversation was going to be the same. Scorpius stayed planted where he was, unmoving. He wasn’t sure why, it just seemed useless to walk out into the corridor. It was warmer in here anyway. “Neither, since I’m still trying to decide what to do with you.” He was pretty sure he was going to give her a slap on the wrist and let her off with a warning. Breaking into a bathroom like this was at the bottom of his list of things to be concerned about.

"Of course I have," Lily answered with a scoff. Who did Scorpius think she was? Some kind of goody-two shoes church girl who sat around and knitted? Still, if he had asked then he must have not known so there was no reason to be hard on him. He was Albus's best friend, though, which made this all the more fun. Especially if she told Albus that she was in the same room as Scorpius while in nothing but a towel. Hah! That would be hilarious.
Scorpius didn't move as she took his arm and she frowned, stopping and turning back to him. "Oh?" Lily started, raising a sly eyebrow and taking another step toward him, her hand still on his arm, "well, you can do whatever you want with me, Scorpius. You just have to," she took another step closer, "ask nicely." Of course she was kidding. She knew Scorp wouldn't suggest anything crazy, he was a good guy. That's why she knew it was safe to tease him like this, because he'd never follow through.

Yup. He was right. The question about the roller coasters was a stupid one. Even if Lily hadn’t been implicitly taken to one by her family, it was quite obvious that she would have done it on her own volition. While he didn’t know her as well as Al, he had definitely heard the stories from her brother. She was a little on the wild side, this situation they were in right now was simply reinforcing what he already knew about her. “I forgot who I was talking to for a second there. No reason you wouldn’t have been on one.” That was more to affirm his dumb question more than anything.
It seemed like not moving had potentially given Lily the wrong idea. Or she was playing around with him. The latter seemed more likely. She had turned around and stepped closer to him. And then another one as she got even closer. Scorpius rolled his eyes as he looked over her head. “I have kind of a track record going already with two of your cousins. Probably not smart of me to make it a third.” More like he wasn’t going to make it a third. At this point his life probably depended on getting it back down to only one Weasley. “I’m sure there’s quite a few Gryffindor boys that would more than love to take my place. Ever think about asking one of them?” He grinned. Al would kill him if he saw this. And probably Rose too. He was surprised that actually hadn’t already happened. It was all innocent of course, but just having that thought planted was enough to cause issues. He knew about that.

"How could you possible forget?" she asked indignantly, "I mean, look at me. Psssh," she turned her face away for a moment but was soon back to him, of course, messing with him.
Scorps eye roll made her glare for a moment, though, but she quickly returned back to her sweetest face when he looked back to her. "Awe, but third times the charm, Scor," she said, giving him another one of her best pouts. Then he suggested asking one of the Gryffindor boys and Lily scoffed, lifting a hand to brush her hair behind her shoulders, "Gryffindor boys are lame. Plus," she shrugged, "I've already dealt with them all, so, you're turn," she said this with such casualness that it was almost convincing herself.

He caught the glare she had given him. So there was a way to break through the joking sometimes. Unless the glare was all part of the game too. He actually couldn’t tell. Lily was too all over the place for him to truly understand what her intentions were. Scorpius liked not knowing what he was getting into sometimes. Random occurrences like the one they were in right now were definitely highlights to his week, especially when things seemed to only constantly pile up lately.
Third time was the charm? Maybe. He wasn’t willing to figure that out though. Especially when he knew Lily actually wouldn’t go through with it. It was all fun and games anyways. Which was exactly what he was trying to escape with the other two. Scorpius needed to buckle down and be serious about all of it now. Still, that didn’t mean he couldn’t play her game as well. It definitely seemed interesting.
“You’re right,” Scorpius moved closer to Lily, looking down at her. He had decided to play along. Normally he’d give it a rest and tell her off, but this seemed fun for some reason. “Gryffindors are lame. Let’s me and your brother shine a little brighter. Can’t do that with all that bravery and chivalry crap.” He was joking of course, there quite a few good Gryffindors out there. “So, why me? Just because? That seems rather generous of you.” Scorpius grinned wryly, trying not to laugh. This was completely out of his league, but it was fun to play her game. He was also semi-interested in seeing where she’d take it.

Oh, he was playing along, was he? That was something she didn't expect. She swallowed nervously, caught off guard, but she held her ground. He was closer now, talking about how lame Gryffindors were and asking why him. She took even another step closer, her face only two inches from his now. Her voice was low as she spoke, "Oh, Scor. Don't act so surprised," she lifted a hand to gently place it on his chest, right over his heart, "it only makes sense that I'd have a thing for my brothers best friend. After all, as you said, you snakes are so much brighter than lions," she giggled, a soft, sultry giggle, to match this little game of chicken they were playing.
It was his move now, and Lily was mulling over how hilarious this was and how not hilarious. Albus, Rose and Ondina would all be incredibly not stoked about this entire thing. Still, how would any of them find out? Plus, this wasn't going to go anywhere, come on. It was just a bit of fun and avoiding getting busted.
