"Of course," Hugo answered simply when his father thanked him for his willingness to help. How else did he expect Hugo to respond. He most certainly wasn't going to forget something like this when it obviously meant so much to his dad.
He smiled when his dad asked for suggestions of what they could do. "Well we could leave the house, stay here and eat or ..." he paused for dramatic effect, wiggling his eyebrows at his father. "We could play some Quidditch." Hugo was trying to be silly on purpose. He knew that whatever was happening in the shop was stressing his father out and he also knew that some time not thinking about it would probably be a good thing for him. "Any of those sound good to you?"

"All of them sound good actually."
Ron smiled at the thought of leaving the house and going somewhere with his son, and even better idea of sitting and eating. He almost laughed, however, when Hugo went for the dramatics when mentioning playing quidditch. Ron loved that game, and everyone in his family knew that, so it wasn't any surprise that his own son would suggest that for a way to spend time with his old man. Ron, however, decided to have a little fun with the young man. He crossed his arms and raised an eyebrow, smiling a bit as he looked to Hugo.
"But quidditch? Do you really want to go one on one with me?" He took a proud stance, "I was trained in quidditch under Harry Potter himself. Victor Krum couldn't best me."

His dad was smiling again and Hugo was glad. He hated seeing his father upset and was trying to find ways to help him out, to lift his spirits. Apparently his ideas were good enough, which was a relief. He laughed when his father challenged him on Quidditch. He held his hands up in the air between them. "Hey now. Just because I'm not on the Quidditch team doesn't mean I'm not good. Besides, you and Uncle Harry have helped teach all of us. It wouldn't be that big of a shocker if I was able to take you down." Hugo laughed. He wasn't really sure if he would be able to beat his dad, but it would be fun trying and he was ready for that. "Are you ready now then?" he asked before turning and walking out of the shed.

"Oh really. Well let's see what our training has helped with, shall we?"
He had to admit, a little game of quidditch would probably help ease his mind a bit. He always enjoyed watching it when he was young, and even more enjoyed being a part of it when he was in Hogwarts. Though, unfortunately, he'd never been able to see any of his children play, which was a bit of a bummer. So when Hugo suggested that the two of them have a little one on one match, he was more excited to see what his son had learned from both him and Harry, and his time at Hogwarts. When Hugo turned to leave, Ron was following behind.
"You know, I'm not sure where, exactly, we put up that old quidditch set." he said, looking around as he tried to remember.

Hugo laughed, "Yeah, I guess we'll see how good you all are at teaching," he teased as he left the shed. "I think we have the equipment by the back door." At least, isn't that where he saw it while he was searching for his father? Hu wasn't entirely certain, but he was willing to look for a while so that he could enjoy his time with his father. He strolled up to the back of the house and called out, "I found it!" He picked up the box and moved towards the field behind the house, waiting for his dad to show up beside him before he got on. Once he put the box down, he summoned a broom and looked around himself. It had been a while since he played here last.

"Yeah, I guess we'll find out, won't we?"
He laughed at this, inwardly hoping that he had taught Hugo well enough at Quidditch to be the best he could be. He followed his son out, looking around back of the shed that Hugo mentioned seeing it. Their search ended in triumph when Hugo found the box and headed out towards the field. He followed his son out into the open field, looking around at the open area as he did. He couldn't remember the last time he played out here, which wasn't a good thing since the Weasley family always had time for playing games with each other.
"I can't remember the last time I actually played." he stated, "Sure hope I haven't lost my touch."

Hugo smiled wryly, "We sure will." Really, he was sure both he and his father would do well enough against one another. The main point of this was the opportunity to spend time with one another, which wasn't something that happened a lot lately. Not since Hugo was busy in school and his father was busy with the shop.
Hugo mounted his broom as his father spoke. "Well I hope you have," he teased as he pushed off, and soared into the air. He loved flying. Hugo didn't do it often, but being in the air was a good sense of freedom that he didn't commonly feel otherwise. "So you want to play with the Quaffle right? One-on-one?" Hugo wanted to make sure they were about ready to play the same thing with one another. It would be weird if they were expecting different things.
