The moon outside was barely close to being half of its full shape, a good sign for any werewolf that was looking for a break from it all. The small pub was rather packed considering it was only a Thursday night, the weather outside was rather nice for a change. The wind blew slowly and it was comfortable outside enough to not need a heavy coat on. A new occupant for the pub's small space walked into the pub as if he owned the place, indicating that he was a regular. On some nights, the pub did not appear to be the cleanest place to go though tonight it was much well kept than usual, given the upcoming weekend. Walking over to the bar, he took a seat next to an empty stool which tended to become occupied, not long after he entered the pub. Having ordered a firewhiskey, he turned around on his own stool when the bartender handed the drink to him. His attention was on some girls in the corner of the room, a few with their eyes on him as they talked to their friends. The man sitting on the stool was Jason Greyback, the son of Alecto Carrow and Fenrir Greyback. It was not an easy introduction to give whenever he had to say his last name. Greyback was a last name known for striking fear into others. It was well associated with the werewolf known as Fenrir, who would have bit anyone that offended him. Most of the time when Jason would introduce himself, he would see the fear in their eyes. Jason had grown up around his father, practically looking up to the man a lot. Jason had always sought after the man's approval since he was younger, stealing things at someone's house for him or simply being used as that innocent child that Fenrir unknowingly used to threaten anyone who defied him. Those threats were that the person would have to watch the boy get attacked by him, something he had never heard of. Some people did not understand the boy's blinding faith for the man especially if they knew of how he became a werewolf. Fenrir had bitten him after he was sorted into Gryffindor because the boy was different than Fenrir had wanted from his only son. Having lost his mother to Azkaban, Jason has always held onto the belief that he has had to prove himself to Fenrir. After all, the two were the only ones left of the small family. Before he had been sorted into Gryffindor, he had fond memories with his father though they were only fond for him rather than his father - who didn't care much for the boy except raising another man like him. Occasionally, Jason would shift his eyes away from the girls to two men arguing with one another in another corner of the pub. As a hit wizard, he was quite capable of breaking up a fight though took to being a bystander for now.

The Leaky Cauldron was not typically Odette's pub of choice. Then again, the brunette witch was also usually only at pubs on the weekend. But tonight was different. She had just had a pretty imcriminating argument with one of the goblins at work just before leaving and it had landed her in the office of the Gringott's bank owner's office. Odette wouldn't be fired, she knew that. She knew that the bank valued her curse breaking abilities far too much to let her go. She could probably curse the pants off of all of them at once if she wanted to, as she had always been gifted with curses. But nonetheless, the argument had been enough to give the girl a pounding headache so she was on the search for a drink.

The closest pub, of course, was the Leaky Cauldron and at that point she really did not care. The pub would be slow, and if she got extremely tired, she could ask for a room. Didn't sound too bad. So the witch entered the pub, immediately scanning the place as she always did before entering a pub. Odette avoided interaction with others while at pubs. She really avoided interaction with others period. She lived alone, had little to no friends, and no living relatives left. She didn't seem to know anyone or even recognize them. There were a few women in the corner, two older men who seemed to be arguing over something and then... there was a rather handsome younger man at the counter. Odette stood in the doorway a moment, looking the man up and down before she continued her way over to the counter.

Odette didn't want to seem to eager, but she definitely thought the man was attractive. She ordered a Beetle Berry whiskey, her favorite drink, and settled herself into the stool, comfortably and coincidentally just one stool over from the handsome young man. She looked at him out of the corner of her eye as he seemed to be watching the people around the pub himself. There was something about him... that seemed so familar... and what Odette was about to do surprised even herself.

"You look familiar," she blurted out, without even thinking. For some reason, she didn't regret it, though. There really was something familiar about him, but Odette was sure she had never met him. If she had, she would certainly not have said anything to him... but she really couldn't put her finger on it. After realizing she may have sounded too blunt, she blinked a few times and smiled a little flirtatiously at him. "What is it you do?" She asked, her curiosity getting the best of her. That... and she did find him attractive. Might as well act on it.

jason had been watching the other people in the pub, no one looking entirely as interesting as he had hoped for. some of the girls had their eyes on him, but they weren't exactly his type. normally, jason was the center on attention. he loved showing off for the girls and occasionally ended up with one at the bar. however, none of the girls with their eyes on him appealed to him. well, it was going to be a boring night. the two men in the pub that were fighting, were actually bickering. they were merely older men, no one of interest. a majority of everyone in the pub was nowhere near as young as he was which was strange. there had always been a good amount of people that were his age whenever he went to the leaky cauldron since it was a well known place. the night was just different from all the rest. a woman caught his eye when she walked into the pub, she was beautiful. however he wasn't about to get up and walk over to her. for some reason, she looked familiar to him though he wasn't entirely sure why. he had turned back around on his stool, looking over the other people at the bar. again barely anyone of interest until the woman had sat just a stool away from him. jason had seen her look him up and down, checking him out when she had entered the doorway. it wasn't long before she began to talk to him after ordering a whiskey. she claimed that he looked familiar. he said, "i could say the same for you." truthfully, he felt like he had seen her in diagon alley before. however his instinct was telling him otherwise. he just couldn't put his finger on where he knew her from. she asked what he did for a living, smiling flirtatiously at him. jason said, "just go after the scum of our world, ya know keeping people safe." the bartender came by and he ordered another drink for himself, a shot of firewhiskey. he looked over at her and asked, "so, i'm taking a guess you work for something important. the ministry or the bank?" jason knew an independent woman when he saw one and majority of those woman held an important title to them. they were never just an ordinary worker in diagon alley. he said, "my name is jason by the way." for now, he was leaving out his last name for it had always brought upon a hint of fear in anyones eyes. as for himself, he had his own smile on his face though not nearly as flirtatious as hers. merely cause he felt that he knew her from somewhere else and the full moon hadn't been long ago. anyone could have seen the marks on his own neck, the tips of the marks showing from under his shirt collar.
