Calliope nodded in agreement. “It doesn’t matter where you come from, dance seems to always be a part of growing up in some way,” she said, smiling. Her mother, not retired, had been a famous opera singer in her day, so the arts were very important growing up in the Stephanidis household. She remembered growing up dancing and singing, more singing of course, while her sisters excelled at their instruments. Thalia, her eldest sister had had two left feet, but Ariadne had been the most graceful of the three of them. “I think it depends on the time commitment, some people can handle it longer than others. Then you have Hogwarts where dance lessons aren’t offered, so there’s no way for anyone to commit to it,” she reasoned with a small shrug of her shoulders.
She smiled widely as Zytka agreed to give her lessons a few times a week. “I can swing two, sometimes three depending on meetings. We have Frog Choir once every other week of course, and we have Heads of Houses meetings once a month, then I try to check in with my Prefects every few weeks to see how things are going,” she told her, ticking off her growing to do list. “Not to mention grading and teaching,” she added, laughing a little. Speaking of teaching, she checked her watch and noticed what t ime it was. “Oh goodness, I told a student I’d meet with them in about ten minutes time,” she said, cursing softly under her breath. She untied her shoes and stuffed them back in her bag. She stretched a little, then gave Zytka a little wave and slipped into her shoes, walking out of the Room of Requirement to attend to her student.
