Zander didn't like this idea. Braelynn didn't blame him for his caution, after all she'd been in hiding since April for a reason. Nine months in hiding. Where the number of people that knew of her survival could be counted on one hand. Braelynn was done hiding though. She didn't want to sit back, and... cower. She should have done something to stop this all sooner, and she hadn't. Those deaths at Hogwarts were her fault, and it was time for her to atone for them.
Braelynn had arranged this meeting between herself, Harry Potter, and Hermione Granger through Susan. Bay had asked her friend to let the Headmaster know of her survival not to long ago. It was with his guidance that she'd decided to meet these two individuals. They'd know how she could help.
The meeting was set up for a quiet and small farm in the country side. Far from any prying eyes. Where no one would expect any of these individuals. Between herself and Zander they'd not only charmed the house, but also the entire farm. They would not be disturbed. Speaking of Zander, he'd decided to sit this one out. He wasn't far though. Braelynn was watching him through a window in the farm house, chasing a few birds in his fox form. It made her smile, shake her head at his silliness then blush when she realized that she did the same thing when she was a fox. With a sigh, she stepped away from the window and moved to place a few more logs into the fireplace. Hermione and Harry should be here any moment....

Harry was told about this meeting by Hermione, though she hadn't said who they were meeting with. He wasn't even sure if she knew. Either way, he trusted her judgement and accepted the challenge, but not without being on guard. He arrived at the farm in Ireland, using the necessary directions to get there since it was surrounded by protective enchantments. A part of him hoped that it was one of Elaine's lackeys wanting to assist them, wanting to stop helping her, but he didn't know.
He arrived first, having told Hermione that he would have preferred it that way. He approached the farm house and stepped inside, wand out. "Show yourself," he said firmly, stepping into the house and walking toward the room where a faint light was coming out of. He turned, looked inside, and his eyes widened.
Was that Cecelia Rosseau? Wasn't she in school? He knew what she and her twin looked like, of course, ever since finding out that Desirae was Elaines right hand all those months ago.
The twin.
He lowered his wand. "Braelynn Rosseau," he said.

Hermione had been surprised, to say the least, when Neville had told her that Braelynn Rousseau had survived her torture from her sister Desirae. In the hours after learning this though, it made sense. Her best friends had been very good actresses, according to Neville as nobody had suspected anything other than what had been reported. Now that Desirae was dead, in part with the assistance from Theodorus Nott's information, Braelynn could start thinking of the possibility of returning back to life, so to speak. She still would have to deal with Elaine of course, but her sister had gone to her grave thinking she was dead. She didn't think the other twin, Cecelia, knew just yet, but that information would be released when Braelynn felt comfortable to do so and not a second sooner. Harry had insisted on arriving first; as Head of Magical Law Enforcement now, it made sense for him to want to scope things out before Hermione arrived. Even though Hermione had known who they were meeting to begin with. As Hermione stepped into the house, she heard Harry speak Braelynn's name, and she smiled grimly. "I see you have identified our mystery guest, Harry," she said, stepping in the room to join the other two. She gave Braelynn a once over, motherly instincts stirring within her. The girl was just barely a year older than her daughter Rose, and she had dealt with three lifetimes worth of pain. "How are you, Miss Rousseau," she asked softly. @braelynn HARRY JAMES POTTER

Braelynn had just finished stoking the fire and straightened when Harry Potter entered the room, wand drawn. She didn't blame him, of course. Considering everything he'd experienced in his life and the impending war looming over head one was bound to be cautious. Braelynn personally left her wand in her pocket, making no move for it. Though, soon his wand lowered and he spoke again. Realization must have struck because all he said was her name.
Before she could respond though Hermione Granger appeared, complimenting Harry on identifying Braelynn. As the woman addressed her though, asking how she was, Bay slowly smiled. It was small but genuine. "I'm well, thank you." Despite nine months in hiding Braelynn couldn't forget her manners. "Thank you for being willing to meet with me. Especially so far out of the way." Bay couldn't risk anyone that worked for Desirae seeing her.

Hermione nodded with an understanding smile. She couldn’t imagine what the poor girl had been through, and part of her didn’t want to know. She knew of course that only Zander Lloyd, Susan Windsor and Andromeda Lestrange had known about her survival up until recently, along with Carson Abbott, Zanders’ uncle. She knew Carson and his wife were currently in Brazil, living somewhat of a peaceful life, which made what Hermione had come to tell her all that much easier. “Of course Braelynn,” she said.
Hermione hesitated, then took a deep breath. “Braelynn, we need to discuss the future. Your future, and more importantly your safety. You obviously know that the death of your elder sister was a win for the side of good, but as I’m sure you realized it did leave a tenseness within the higher offices of the Ministry. What would Elaine do next? Would she strike like a wounded cat, violently and irrationally? With the passing months though, we have heard not a hide nor hair from her, not even from our inside source.” She paused again, filled with sympathy for the girl in front of her. “If Elaine was to catch any wind that you were alive, I do believe she would do everything in her power to kill you herself. With her going radio silent, we do not have an inkling when, where or how she will strike, and this greatly concerns me. So therefore, with your blessing, I’d like to send you and Zander to Brazil to live with his Uncle Carson. You would be able to live freely there; we’ve been in touch with him and he has assured me that you would be able to have at least a semi-normal life in the country. I know it’d be uprooting everything and everyone you love here, but the Minister and I both agree it is your best course of action.” Hermione paused one last time. “As a mother and a wife, I think that this is the best way for you to live your life to the fullest. Think of what you would be able to do without having to live with the constant fear that Elaine will appear at your doorstep? Please, consider it.” She made to reach out to squeeze the young womans’ shoulder, but thought better of it, and she swept her cloak back onto her shoulders, walking outside and after ensuring nobody was around, Disapparating with a CRACK.
END THREAD
