Aerick saw the look on his friends face when he stated the rather inebriated girls weren't really his type, and remembered Logan had a pretty serious thing going on with a woman at the Ministry. She had a nickname of an animal, Sparrow? Kitty...Kat, that was it. “Ah, how could I forget the lovely Lady Kat,” Aerick said with a smile. He wondered what it would be like to have someone like Logan had Kat; his thoughts flashed to the fellow American Madi. There had definitely been a spark there, and she would have been useful to the Dark Lady. But that plan had been dashed quite literally with her unfortunate accident. Then there was Clodagh. Clo was awkward, shy and a bit klutzy, but lately Aerick had been noticing she was crossing his mind more than he had ever expected. There was something about her; she was beautiful, no doubt that had something to do with it. But there was a sort of mysterious allure, something Aerick couldn't really explain. He hadn't told anyone yet about her, not even Logan. Logan was first on his list though once he figured out what he was feeling and what he was after; Kat had nothing to do with the Purifers as far as Aerick was aware, so Logan would understand the easiest. “And how is dear Kat these days?” he asked curiously. He knew she had some pretty bad social anxiety; the few times he had seen her she had had a labrador with her, which Logan had later explained was an emotional therapy dog. There was more to the story to that, like why Kat needed that kind of service animal but Aerick was never one to pry, especially with other Purifiers.

Logan smirked at his friend when he asked how he could have forgotten about Kat. Then he rolled his eyes, "Oh come on. Even before Kat, I never would have been interested in someone as drunk as that," he responded lowly, glancing for a moment back at the table. No, he couldn't remember a time when anyone that drunk would have appealed to him. Then he chuckled, "Still, I don't know how you forgot about her. I certainly can't." Aerick already knew this, of course. He was one of the people Logan actually trusted with his secrets. Aerick seemed to understand, or at least not judge and Logan appreciated that. "She's doing about the same as ever," Logan answered with a nod. He knew that Aerick was probably curious about why she was so skittish around people and such, most people were, but that was not Logan's story to tell. "Maybe I can bring her around to see you sometime," he commented offhand. From what he remembered, Kat liked Aerick plenty. At least, she didn't seem to mind him, so that was a step in the right direction. Besides, she needed to spend more time with people.

Aerick couldn't help but give a chuckle at Logans' comment. "True, you do always tend to stray away from those hen parties," he said with a smirk. In spite of himself, Aerick smiled as Logan admitted he couldn't ever forget about Kat. She was a pretty girl no doubt, but obviously her relationship with Logan went to a different level than he had ever witnessed. If his friend was happy, then he was happy for him. He wondered if he'd ever find someone like that, who he could never forget. Then again, he was having trouble forgetting Clodagh, though he wouldn't admit it out loud just yet. He had to have a proper date with her first at the very least.
"If you can convince her to come to this club with you, she's definitely a Keeper," Aerick remarked with a snicker. Kat didn't seem to be the most social person, and combining that with this sort of atmosphere would mean she must really love Logan. A tinkling of broken glass was heard and Aerick groaned. "Time to kick out that lovely party," he said exasperatedly, slinging a towel over his shoulder and heading over to the drunken party who happened to look incredibly guilty.

Logan nodded decisively. "I most certainly do," he confirmed, glad that the other man remembered that. He didn't really want to be looked at as the kind of man that went after anyone who was drunk. Besides the fact that it wasn't true- mostly because of Kat- it would be a hard reputation to overcome, were he to earn it. Logan wasn't into that. He grinned back at Aerick. "Just you watch. One of these days I'll see if I can't get her to come with me," he teased. It actually sounded like a fun idea. He knew Kat didn't like being with other people, but if he brought her here, he wouldn't leave her alone for a second. She'd be with him, so she'd be fine, right? Hmm ... that was definitely something to think about and perhaps talk with her about. He liked dancing with her. When Aerick said that he had to go kick out the group of women, Logan took that as his opportunity to leave. "Well, here I go then," he answered with a smile. "It was nice to see you." Logan walked out of the club and apparated home, ready to relax for a bit. --- the end --- @aerick
