@jessica
So these films were about ghosts? Figured. For once in his life, he was glad that his wife dealt with the more sophisticated side of the film industry. None of that garbage that scared people. If only they knew about the things he could do to people. What he had done to people. There were things that would horrify even Jess. He was a hitwizard at one point in time after all. They didn’t take the average Joe for a reason. At the same time, labeling the hitwizard department as a group of assassins was silly. They were just better aurors. Ones that weren’t easily expendable. “Muggles scare from everything. Not their fault though. They’re only limited to their imaginations.” And oh the terribly wonderful things they used those for. It was hilarious.
Blaise tried not to show his distaste as Jess said that her mother liked The Beatles. At least she had been subjected to Pink Floyd as well. There was some hope there still. “I’ll take one over the other,” he stated, trying to keep it hidden which one he didn’t like. There had been times where he would have debated vehemently over how The Beatles were all hype that had yet to die down. But they had been around long enough now where he was in the minority that believed in that philosophy. The saving grace was that Jess didn’t say which one she was partial to, which meant that he wouldn’t have to force her to listen to actual quality music. She was luck in that sense. Watching her sort her files in, Blaise set his down on top of one of the drawers, waiting for his turn. This was the part where he was glad magic existed. A quick flick of his wand and everything was in the proper place. And that was exactly what he did. Content with how it looked, he stepped back out into the hall. “Let’s hope that’s all we have for today. Last thing I want to do is more paperwork tonight.”
