Not even two weeks after talking with Scorpius had she found herself in the exact same position as he. She'd gone to the libarary early this Saturday morning to begin studying for her Divination N.E.W.T. Her motivation had come after she'd been owling back and forth with her father over the past week discussing what her future plans were and what her next step would be to reach those. She shouldn't have been surprised when the owl came; she hadn't been really. When she'd seen the handwriting on the envelope she'd known exactly who it'd been and exactly what it was about. It still didn't help the tremor that ran through her. Nor did it help that feeling that always seemed to rise in her of wanting to please her father, wanting to do whatever it took to get him to tell her that she was doing a good job or that she was making good decisions. It'd been that way since she was a child. She was going to have to get over that at some point lest she make all of her decisions because of him.
She'd spent all day in the library today, trying to anticipate what may or may not be asked of her during the Divination N.E.W.T. and to say this was only day one was a bummer. It'd gotten later and later surprisingly. She'd never stayed in the library so long. It was dinner now and she hadn't brought enough snacks to hold her over so she was now in the Great Hall. Walking along the tables, the meal had already started so she took a seat in her usual spot and began placing different foods on her plate. The food wasn't too bad at Hogwarts if she was honest. It wasn't as high quality as she was used to having but when you had to eat it for going on seven years in a row she'd gotten used to it. As she began eating she started running through the things she'd studied in her head, only a little distracted.

Ichabod was a bookworm, through and through. He found great pleasure in finding a place to sit down with a book and relax and just really take in all the information from said book. Today, Iggy had chosen to read a book on the laws of wands and wandlore out in the courtyard. He had just finished up a chapter when he decided to sneak out a cigarette to take a few drags off of before dinner. Usually Iggy could get away with smoking every now and then, but he had been told several times since Professor Longbottom was sent to St. Mungo's that the new Headmistress was not tolerant of that type of stuff, and she would surely have his head if she caught him. Iggy hadn't met the old woman yet, but he was certain he could talk himself out of any trouble he may get into. Like he always thought he could.
Ig had just finished his cigarette when he caught the scent of dinner being made inside the castle. He hadn't realized it was already time for supper and so he headed inside, putting his wandlore book in his bag and swinging it over his shoulder. Iggy found a fairly empty area at the Slytherin table, which was how he preferred it, but he knew it would fill up fast. Within a couple minutes, he had other snakes surrounding him as he began to fill his plate. Iggy paused and looked around at the food in front of him and saw the mashed potatos across from him next to whom he recognized to be the eldest Zabini. Iggy gritted his teeth, knowing he would have to ask her to pass them to him and he let out a quick breath before doing so. "Uh, would you pass the mash, please?" He asked the girl, who didn't seem to hear him oddly enough. "Pass the mash?" He repeated once again. Liona really seemed distracted by something, so Iggy took it upon himself to address her by name. "Zabini. Earth to Zabini?"

Astrology, practically the study of personality using the movement of the planets and even some of the planets' moons as well as the seasonal calendar, of course depending on which form of astrology you're using. Ovomancy, predicting the future by way of studying the way the yolks of eggs landed. Yolks that fell to the left of the white portion without breaking usually meant... She was going over and over the things she'd studied that day. And it was going to be like that for at least the next few weeks. Not to mention that she had to keep up on all of her other studying and homework along with the copious amount she was doing for Divination. Everything else would pile on top of that. A little bit of exhaustion began to creep into her just at the thought of that.
As she continued to go through the lists of notes in her head, she thought she'd heard a voice call out to her. Somewhere far away? She focused only for the smell of cigarette smoke and for a voice to ring out in her ears, harshly calling out her name. Probably to get her attention. She looked up to see Ichabod Nash sitting near her. "Hmm?" She furrowed her brow momentarily. He'd said something... What was it? "Yes? Did you need something?" She wasn't worried about looking silly. Her distracted state was reasonable just based on the sheer amount of time she'd spent in the library today. If it was important, whatever it was, he was sure to repeat himself.
