A little birdy - several, actually - told me that there's been some posters hung up around Hogwarts warning about the dangers of love potions. I don't suppose you know anything about who could have done that, hmmm?
P.S. Is it true that Minerva McGonagall is your new headmistress?!?

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred,
That would involve going out when I wasn't supposed to, secret cloning of thousands of posters, some degree of art skills, thousands of modified temporary sticking charms, flying through the hallways, the idea in the first place, and general mischief making. I would never.
The art skills is the least believable part, I know.
She is!!! I've only seen her at meals, but it's so exciting! Mum talked about how enthusiastic she was about Quidditch, so I hope that she still is, and that she still cheers for Gryffindor (subtly, of course, I shouldn't want her to be too obvious about her biases). And you know, she's just so... badass. I have her Chocolate Frog Card! D'you think she'd sign it?
Although I do hope Professor Longbottom is better soon.
Roxy
[ooc: included is a handful of what appears to be glitter. If Fred throws them, then whichever room he is in will be covered in the same posters.]

Of course you wouldn’t. Good to know.
I have to admit, I’m caught between jealousy and fear. If she catches anyone so much as looking at a Weasley product – well, from what Dad has said, she would not be my biggest fan. I think that, as headmistress, she’s supposed to cheer for everyone, but who could blame her for cheering for the house from whence she came? She does seem really, really cool. I just wonder if all of Mum and Dad’s stories are overblown, or if they’re true, or if they don’t even come close to doing her justice. I think as long as you don’t pull any more postering stunts, she might sign it for you. Do you suppose…you could get her to sign mine, too?
He’ll be fine. Don’t worry so much!

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred,
You're the first person I've had to deny it to. I'm almost disappointed.
You're not here! The worst she can do to you is take away your market. I'm the one at school. She seems slightly terrifying if you got on her bad side, but so cool. I hope the stories are all true. They're great stories.
I'm doing some postering stuff with BSU, but I'll see if I can't get Professor Kamuntu to make it all official, and that should solve that. And I will try, but you have to send it!
I like worrying, it gives me something to do!

Let it be known that your big brother knows you better than the rest of the world. I’ll try to keep Mum and Dad off your scent, if it ever comes up in conversation (which I doubt).
Roxy, the market is the most important part of maintaining a business! You should know that, or did you fall asleep during all of Dad’s economics lectures? I don’t think you’ll get on her bad side, though, Rox. You can be damn charming when you want. Learned it from me, I know.
As long as it’s official! How is the BSU going, by the way? I know it’s one of your pet projects.
Don’t tell me you need stuff to do, or I’ll put you to work.

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred,
Well, to be fair, that's not exactly news. But it is so. And it's not exactly a secret, I just haven't told anyone. But if Dad asks, I know nothing, that's true.
Daydream Charms, not sleeping. And anyway, damaging the market is not sitting through detention! Not that I do much to merit detention or getting on the Headmistress's bad side, beside guerilla social justice postering campaigns. And I'm pretty sure the charm came from everyone expecting me to make mischief, so I had to look twice as innocent to not be in trouble. I guess you can take credit for it, but only because you were the one making mischief in the first place.
BSU's awesome. It's my favourite, after Quidditch. Rose comes out, and a bunch of the Slytherins, and me and... you know Simone Higgs, right? Her. And it still manages to be a positive environment! We had a Beauxbatons student come for a while too! It feels like half of us graduate this year though, so I'm not sure how it'll last, but I'm super proud of it.
Alright, I won't.
Love you!
Roxy

There were a lot of ‘not exactly’s in that, and I’m not sure how many I believe. I will follow the script you have laid out for me, only because my life is a lot less interesting when you’re being punished.
Either way, you should have been paying attention. His lectures can be pretty interesting. Don’t tell him I said that, though. I trust you not to do anything to merit detention, but if you need any more incentive not to get into trouble, see my point about my life being less interesting. I can take credit for it, and I will. The reason I taught you to be charming isn’t important, just that I was the one to do it!
I didn’t know that you talked to dear old Rosie-poo. I don’t think she even remembers I exist, bless her soul. I know of the name Higgs, but not the person. Even if the BSU does die after this year, it made a difference for at least a little while, right? I think that if you look you’ll find that there is someone willing to continue it, though, even if it’s not the person you would prefer.

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred, I did pay attention periodically. But I thought the point was to test the Daydream Charms!
I solemnly swear to keep your life interesting, and mean you don't need
I was going to protest that I talk to all my cousins, but that'd be way too much work for more than the holidays. And I avoid Ondina and Lucy. Anyway, I like Rose! I think she despairs of you, which is an excellent point of similarity between the two of us.
Simone's a Gryffindor the year below me. You'd probably recognise her if you saw her. The point being, people aren't there just because they're humouring me.
You're probably right about there being enough to keep it going. I'm still going to fret, because it's my baby. But you're also right about it would have been worth it anyway. Don't let it get to your head.
Love you! Roxy

Was it? I wasn’t really paying attention to the plan…Like I said, Dad’s lesson was interesting! And useful in my line of work. I don’t suppose they teach Quidditch players about economics, do they?
Mean I don’t need…!?!?
That’s way too much work, even for the holidays. I barely keep up with James. I talked to Anna a lot before the holidays, but I think our letters might have gotten lost or something. Maybe I should send her something new… Of course I am the only thing that you can bond with our cousins over, because I’m infinitely cooler than anyone else in the entire world, you included.
Send her picture or something then! I can’t live with the suspense of not knowing. Are you implying that there are people who are just there because they’re humoring you?
Please don’t talk about babies ever again. You’re too young for babies.

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred, Well, it must have been interesting if you still remember it. But economics isn't something required for Quidditch. I can see why you'd find it interesting though. Maybe he had different plans for each of us?
... Don't write letters right before class, children, you might leave half finished sentences you don't understand.
I've talked to Anna! It's all an awful lot easier when you share a dorm, though. Bet she'd like to hear from you - the next task's coming up soon. And I bond over things besides you, and am perfectly cool in my oown right, thank you very much.
No one's at BSU to humour me. That's the best part, because the people who might do something like that aren't there. It's just people who're actually interested.
Not that kind of baby! I don't want that kind of baby for decades thank you very much.

I think Dad has known for a while that you weren’t going to join the family business. It’s a shame, really, because I was hoping at least one of our cousins would want in so I wouldn’t have to be responsible with creating an heir or whatever, especially considering I don’t even know if I want kids, but, you know, I’ll figure that out when I get to it.
Class. Ha. I remember when I went to that.
Yeah, sharing a bedroom with someone does tend to make you closer. Hence why James and I are friends and all. Are Ondina and Lucy close? I haven’t talked to either of them in a while, either. Maybe I ought to send a lot of letters sometime.
I’m glad to hear that, little sis. Both the BSU and the baby thing. I can’t handle children. They smell funny. (And before you make the joke for me, yes, I smell funny too. Ha ha, you’re so funny.)

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred,
Yeah, it's about the opposite of a surprise. I'd offer up my firstborn for an heir, but you said you didn't want to think of me having kids. So... make up your mind.
Stop your bragging about not having class. It's only four more months!
I'm pretty sure Lucy and Ondina are close. I don't know, I avoid them. I'm still ticked off about the love potion incident (obviously), and House grudges may not be what they used to be, but it's a mess I don't want to deal with.
Speaking of Slytherins, one of them cornered me after breakfast the other day to ask if I was responsible for the posters - finally, I was about bursting to tell someone (besides you, obviously) - and she wrote an article for the paper. None of the professors have cornered me on it, so I guess I'm getting away with it! I'm pretty pleased, not going to lie.
You said it, not me!

There’s this thing called waiting, have you heard of it? It means that if you don’t want to do something now (or if your brother doesn’t want you to do something now), you can wait until later. Novel idea and everything, but it means you can still offer me your firstborn – just in ten years or so when you’re happily married and I don’t have to be anything other than your child’s ridiculously cool uncle. Speaking of which, why don’t we have any cool uncles? Things suck when your dad is the cool uncle.
Four months is a long time, sister. You will figure out on the last day of classes that even four hours can feel like an eternity when all you want to do is get out.
House grudges suck, so I’m pleased to hear that you’re not subscribing to those things. I understand not wanting to meddle in others’ affairs, though… kind of. Meddling is also my favorite thing to do, though, so maybe not.
They’re probably not punishing you because the message was worth sending out… and there’s not much they can do, anyways. Detention until the end of the year? Not that big of a punishment. I wouldn’t advise trying something like that again – and if I’m saying not to make mischief, you best not do it.

[googlefont="Caveat:700"] Fred,
So the hypothetical, ten years down the line, first-born is yours to mold into your heir. Works for me. Hopefully works for them - you'll have to be a pretty cool uncle to make sure.
Bill's kind of a cool uncle. Fang earring, Cursebreaker, you know. And Charlie too, with the dragons. Dad's cooler, but it counts.
I like meddling, sometimes. But I'm not very good at it, so mostly I don't. It's more trouble than it's worth. And House grudges are only acceptable on the Quidditch Pitch, but I'm still not really close with any Slytherins. I guess that kind of thing has some sticking power, even if you don't mean it to.
You're advising me not to cause mischeif? Are you sick? Anyway, I solemnly swear that I will not cause any mischeif that breaks any rules, unless there's a very good reason.
Roxy

Trust me, it’s going to work. When you grow up the firstborn Weasley in the Wheezes family, you accept your fate long before you have a choice. No one wants to be the reason the family business goes under, after all. And I am going to be that kid’s coolest uncle, so it won’t matter exactly how cool I am.
Bill and Charlie are both too old to be cool. Dad probably is now, too, but don’t tell him I said that.
I like meddling when it comes to James. He’s a right tosser, that one, so without a little meddling he would never get anything interesting done with his life. I still need to meet his girlfriend and make sure that she’s sane, given who she’s shacking up with. You still have a chance to become close with a Slytherin before the end of the school year!
I’m advising you not to get expelled from Hogwarts mere months before graduation. Take that as you will.
