Theodosia had been patrolling this area of the dungeon for quite some time now. She had met the most interesting girl the other day - a Hufflepuff who wasn't afraid to fight her - and the Slytherin had to admit that she was intrigued, especially since said Hufflepuff had also called her attractive. The other girl was a GSA member, and Theodosia had seen her at the meetings before, so it was likely that she meant attractive in more than just complimenting her in a polite way. Theodosia had gone back and forth with herself in the time since they had last seen each other, trying to decipher whether or not it would be worth stepping a foot out of the closet in order to have a new plaything. Theo wasn't sure how far she wanted to take the whole flirting thing, but depending on how far that was... it was entirely possible that she would have to come all the way out, and that would cause a whole chain of events she wasn't sure she wanted to happen. Zaire would be furious, for one thing, and then she'd probably have to deal with the taunting of all the stupid Mudbloods who thought that her sexuality was a way to get back at her for all of the times she had snapped at them about being of impure blood. Theodosia wasn't expecting it to go that far, though, so she saw no problem in having a little fun toying with the poor girl's heart. She had never really tried to use her sexuality as a weapon (not the way some girls did). The one time she had kissed a boy was to figure some things out about herself, and she had erased his memory, so it didn't really count. The only thing that showed it happening was some little comment in the Gossip Witch, which was dubiously trustworthy to start with. Now, Theo was waiting to see if she would actually get the chance to make the choice, or if the Hufflepuff would never walk by.

She was exhausted. Incredibly, unbelievably exhausted. She couldn't sleep last nigh for some reason and so she'd had to fight through the day. She fought sleep through classes and fought sleep through breakfast and lunch and more classes. And now at the end of her day, her last class having just let out, she was ready to go back to her dorm and fall into her bed. The staircase reached the dungeons and she carefully stepped off the stairs, rubbing her eyes. She was relieved at how close to her bed she was. A short walk down the hallway, a quick password and she'd be able to get some sleep. It was a little early for sleep and dinner had not come just yet so she'd have to go grab something from the kitchens at some point when she woke up but she'd be fine. That was when she noticed her, just a little ways down the hall. Was she really going to have to deal with her again today. Theodosia Washington. She'd remembered her name much later after their last encounter but now she knew it and knew it well. And there she was, in the hallway blocking her path to her nap once again. After having encountered her in the hallway the last time, she'd hoped to never encounter the girl again, here or in GSA. It seemed that Zita's luck had run out. Their last encounter had been anything but friendly, the snake deciding that kicking someone was a good idea. Zita had argued and insulted her and she'd done the same back. She'd almost lost it, the urge to fight her pretty tempting but she didn't want to get in trouble and have to sit out any Quidditch games or practices. She'd walked away then. And she absolutely expected another fight this time as well. She hoped for the best but expected the worst. She yawned then, pulling her bag upon her shoulders a little more before she begin her walk down the hallway. As she got closer to the girl, she became a bit more alert in anticipation for what she would do this time. If she tried to kick at her or harm her again, she'd be ready.

Theodosia had to suppress a giggle of glee when she saw the Hufflepuff walking down the hallway. In the time since they had met, Theo had considered asking who the girl was – since she was both a Quidditch player and a club co-captain, it wouldn’t have been hard to find someone who would tell her the girl’s name – but had eventually decided against it. There was a certain level of fun that came with not knowing, and the Slytherin was determined to get the Hufflepuff to tell her her name herself. Maybe that was stretching far, since Theo was certain after their last meeting, the other girl wasn’t going to want anything to do with her, but since the younger girl was changing her tactics, she was hoping that the older girl was going to be a little bit more…receptive. It wouldn’t even really look like bullying, not even if you squinted. That was what was beautiful about the whole idea – Theodosia got to have her fun and break a heart, and no one could even say she had done anything more. People got their hearts broken all the time, and the heartbreakers didn’t wind up in detention. She was a little disappointed she hadn’t thought of this earlier – so much time had been wasted! When the other girl began to approach, Theodosia noted the yawn. She was tired…Which, naturally, gave the little Slytherin exactly the line she needed to start the conversation. Theo smoothed down her robes, and then stepped out in front of the Hufflepuff, much in the same way she had the last time the two had met. This time, though, the look in Theodosia’s eyes was different. There was hunger there, but not the hunger for pain, or anger. Most people, if asked to describe the look in Theodosia’s eyes, would say that it was lust. Theo smiled. “You look tired, darling. Do you need someone to take you to bed?” The Slytherin’s words were smooth and she didn’t hesitate at all – simply held out her hand, eyes still sparkling.

The closer she got to the Slytherin girl, more alert she became. She hated the feeling really, having to wait and just knowing that something she didn't like was about to happen. And she became annoyed all over again because she even had to deal with her. Why couldn't she have just remained a pretty face in GSA? Someone that Zita could just admire and move on instead of having to deal with this. She stood up straighter as she watched the girl smooth down her robes. And she stepped out in front of her. Zita released a very audible and annoyed groan, pausing in her steps so she didn't run into her. Or maybe she should have, kept walking as if she didn't even care that she was blocking her pathway. Maybe she should have pushed her out of the way because this would be the second time that she was going to interrupt what could be a very good nap. She actually needed it now, unlike last time. She expected her to step out in front of her. She was expecting her to say something she deemed to be an insult, something rude and out of left field. What she got was definitely out of left field. The look upon the snake's face was... hmm? Why was she looking at her like that? Then she smiled and the words that came out of her mouth were equally unexpected. From anyone else, paired with that look, she would have said it was a pick up line and that they were coming on to her. Coming from her, she didn't believe it. It was such a corny pick up line too and if she hadn't been so tired she would have laughed. She'd held her hand out to her as she said the words and Zita just looked at her hand, looked back up at the girl before taking her pointer finger and pushing the girl's hand out of the way. "Haha. Screw with the lesbian and all of that huh? Tú eres estúpida y piensas que soy demasiado," she sniffed though the last part was mumbled slightly. She was sure the girl didn't speak Spanish so her words were her own. Her annoyance though could easily be understood.

Theo thought she probably should have been offended by the fact that the other girl groaned at her presence, but considering how their last meeting had went, a groan was actually on the tamer side of the spectrum. There was no kicking – which would have been poetic justice – or running away, like Theodosia had almost hoped there would be. She had long since realized that one of the most attractive things about some girls was the thrill of the chase. Things that were forbidden? Instantly more attractive, and this Hufflepuff girl was the definition of the forbidden fruit if there ever was one. The Hufflepuff made a comment about screwing with the lesbian, and Theodosia blinked. “Now you’re catching on, hmmm? I really would like to screw you.” And in this case, there was no malice behind the word ‘screw’ – it wasn’t meant to tell the other girl to go away, but rather to come closer, and Theodosia didn’t hesitate to take another step forward, even as her hand was batted away from her. The other girl said something in Spanish, and Theodosia raised her eyebrows. She didn’t speak the language, but the word ‘estupida’ was really telling. It was time to double down on her efforts. “Darling, I don’t need to be gay to know a pretty girl when I see one.” And Theodosia was gay – really gay. That wasn’t something she was going to go bragging about in the hallways to a girl she still wasn’t sure wanted to talk to her, though. It was still a secret, and giving secrets to someone who hated you was just a bad idea. “Come on, just one little kiss? Then I’ll leave you alone, you know.” Theodosia said, voice light and inviting. She probably wouldn’t end up leaving the girl alone, especially if she enjoyed the kiss, but the Hufflepuff didn’t have to know that, and to some, a kiss was a small price to pay for peace.

Zita stood there and blinked ever so tiredly when she responded. Such an odd response too. The snake's attempts at playing off of her words had been boring before and were boring now. And unbelievable; there wasn't any way she would get her to believe that she had any real interest in her. She peeked around the girl, practically ignoring her words and looking down towards the Hufflepuff common room. There were a few of her housemates entering but no one she actually recognized so she couldn't call out to anyway as a distraction. She yawned just before Theodosia said something along the lines of 'I'm not gay but I think you're pretty' and stepped closter to her. There was really not need for further conversation then was there? She wasn't into women, she was engaged or betrothed or whatever, and her previous performance had already made her rather unattractive in Zita's eyes, previous attraction forgotten. Maybe. Okay she was still cute or whatever, especially this close. The brown of her eyes was intense and alluring, ringed by long lovely lashes. That definitely didn't change the fact that she was unbelieveably rude, engaged, and most importantly, not into women. The rude part could definitely make her overlook the 'her being cute' thing. "You definitely need to be into women to get my attention though," she muttered tiredly, scratching the back of her neck and stifling another yawn's attempted escape. She continued her oddness, annoyingly asking for a kiss with promises of leaving her alone. First, she highly doubted the girl would leave her alone. Second, how stupid did the snake think she was? Very because she would have to be stupid to take her up on that. She ignored the way her heart jumped in her chest a little as she kept her eyes from trailing to the girl's lips, purely out of curiosity. What would it be like to kiss her...? She scoffed instead. "I really don't have time for this," she rolled her eyes before stepping around the girl and walking in the direction of her common room. She wouldn't allow her to keep her away from much needed sleep any longer.

Theodosia couldn’t believe that she was still being denied. Well, she could believe it, since the girl had more fight in her than most anyone Theo had met before, but that didn’t mean that the Slytherin liked the fact that she was being denied. She had been trying hard to get the other girl to kiss her, and she always got what she tried after. Her father made sure of it when she failed on her own merits. But now she wasn’t succeeding, and she couldn’t well tell her father that she wanted another girl to kiss her. Which meant that Theodosia was going to have to pull out all the stops, and… admit what she wasn’t sure that she was ready to admit yet. Because the Hufflepuff said that one needed to be into women to get her attention, and Theo was going to get the other girl’s attention if it was the last thing that she did. “Do you think that I go to the GSA meetings just because there’s free food?” Theodosia asked with an exasperated sigh. “It’s not like it’s easy to be out of the closet when your life partner has already been chosen for you since before you knew what love was, darling.” Theo said. She didn’t flutter her eyelashes, didn’t do anything, really, and she realized her mistake too late. That was too honest, too open. You weren’t supposed to be honest to people you were trying to fool, or trying to seduce. And Theo had all but bared her greatest secret to someone whose name she literally didn’t know. This was a bad idea, she knew, but she wasn’t going to run away now. Theodosia Washington did not run away. She got what she wanted, and she wanted the girl, whether she was out of the closet or not. “You’re going to have to make time, darling.” Theodosia growled, once again moving to block the Hufflepuff’s path. “Now, kiss me, or I’ll have to ask in a way that’s not nearly so nice.” Theodosia had many ways of getting what she wanted, and if she couldn’t call on her father… she had other tricks up her sleeve.

Zita had only walked a little bit away from Theodosia, her movements a little slower than usual because of her exhaustion levels. In truth, she had no expectations that the snake would leave her alone. It just didn't seem to be in her nature to not get what she wants or to not get a reaction out of her and really Zita didn't want to deal with it. She would have just kept walking with Theodosia chasing after her until she'd gotten down the common room and left her behind, yapping like a needy puppy. She wasn't expecting what came out of her mouth next. The words were said with exasperation and they stopped her completely in her track. The shock was first but it quickly subsided. What if she was just saying that to get her to stop? She certainly didn't think she was beneath using something like her sexuality against her. She turned around and eyed Theodosia closely as she spoke about having her life partner chosen for her. Looking at her is what changed her mind, if only partially. There was no exaggerated emotion accompanied with the words. Theodosia just stood there and stared Zita down, almost like she was just waiting for Zita to say something. Instead, she rose an eyebrow at her. If she hadn't been alert before, she was definitely wide awake now. She'd chosen an interesting time and way to come out to anyone, and Zita was pretty certain that she was the only person Theodosia had ever said anything like that to. It really shouldn't be her problem. Not that it was a problem. It was a problem for her because she was engaged to someone and Zita didn't think her parents would like her attempts to be with someone else, in whatever capacity she wanted. Her mind was starting to wander but she was quickly brought out of her reverie as Theodosia growled before once again stepping in her pathway to the Hufflepuff common room. "You aren't really asking for this kiss you claim to want, now are you," she mumbled with another raise of her eyebrow. The idea came to her suddenly. It was a really bad idea too, but when had that ever stopped her, really. She walked up towards Theodosia, incredibly close. Kissing distance, her body was almost against the snake's, and she let her eyes wander to the softness of her lips before she met her eyes again. "You kiss me. If you want it so bad, take it. I'm right here." See, there was still just a little part of her that didn't believe the girl. She wasn't actually expecting it to go anywhere. She would wait for her to back away and make some excuse so she could leave in peace.

Theodosia had to hide the glee in her expression when the Hufflepuff girl turned around. She had been worried that the other girl would just keep walking away. Once anyone was inside a common room, Theodosia considered them off-limits. For Hufflepuffs, it was because she didn’t know how to get in, but even within her own house, Theo preferred to handle her business outside of the common room, where there was a plethora of witnesses. The Slytherin had hated that she had parted with one of her biggest secrets so easily, just for the sake of a kiss that may or may not have been coming, but it wasn’t like she could take the words back… Unless she Obliviated the other girl, which was a possibility. Theo had already proved to herself that she was at least competent at memory charms, since Edmund Windsor didn’t remember their run-in, but it seemed in poor taste to wipe the memory of someone you were trying to woo. Besides, then the Hufflepuff wouldn’t remember whatever emotion it was that had caused her to stop walking away from the Slytherin.
Theodosia rolled her eyes when the girl said that she wasn’t really asking for the kiss. That was the truth, but she wasn’t going to let the other girl to know that. “Consent is important, darling.” Theo had intended to take what she wanted by force if it was necessary, but being allowed to kiss the other girl would have been just as thrilling, if not more so. Later, when everything was shattered into pieces, she would have even more to regret because all of this would have been her fault. Besides, Theodosia thought – well, hoped, more like it – that the statement might earn her some brownie points in the eyes of her victim. Something about being respectful of sexual boundaries despite being a bully? That sounded about right. With someone who was so obviously stubborn, Theo was going to need to get all of the sympathy (or other positive emotions) that she could get. “I’ll take that as permission.” It was literally an invitation, albeit not a particularly enthusiastic one. She was going to be enthusiastic later, Theo was certain. The Hufflepuff needed to warm up eventually, didn’t she? Theodosia closed the gap between them and stood on the tips of her toes, pressing a firm, quick kiss to the other girl’s mouth. The Hufflepuff’s lips were cooler than Theodosia had expected, and the slightest bit chapped, but it was… fine, she supposed. Nothing like the rush of adrenaline she had expected from finally coercing the Hufflepuff into doing something, but maybe that would come with time, too? Theodosia hadn’t lingered long on the other girl’s lips, and now she was beginning to regret it, since it was possible that was the only kiss that she would get.

Zita had waited a moment for her to finally move away from her at the idea of actually having to go through with the kiss. She wouldn't have been surprised of course if she'd had. Actually she might have preferred that as opposed to what she got. She'll take that as permi-- Just before Theodosia leaned in, she raised her eyebrow in question. She was actually questioning her sanity because those weren't the words that should have followed her command. She should have made some excuse about somewhere else she needed to be. Probably with that boyfriend of hers. That was what she thought until Theodosia had placed her lips upon hers in a kiss. Her lips were warm and soft. Were they and soft? She couldn't really get a feel for them because she pulled away so quickly. Or at least that's what she told herself in place of 'Maybe we should try that again'. It made her realize how long it had been since she'd kissed another girl. It made her want to do it again, except maybe longer this time. Maybe with a bit more urgency too? And just maybe.. Theodosia was pulling away from her now and she still had one of her eyebrows raised. She had to think quick. Or maybe she just needed to leave. She didn't need to get herself involved in some silly game. That's when she did it. She laughed. She laughed pretty hard too before fixing her with a look of patronizing disbelief. "You're joking right? You're really trying to get me to believe you with that? Wow, you Slytherins are really willing to go far to get someone to believe your lies." she snickered before she gave a wave and walked around her. "Nice try snake but I know I have better things to do than that." She couldn't let her see how much she wanted to kiss her again. She really wanted her to stop her with another kiss. She almost held her breath in hopes that she'd step in front of her again to give her another kiss. A better kiss. Because, honestly, that kiss had been a joke. And if she was serious, she would have better in her. And if she didn't... well.. maybe it was for the better. Because she just knew that this was some kind of game the Slytherin girl was playing. Even if she was telling the truth, she knew that the girl was not doing this because she genuinely liked her. But she wanted that kiss.

Theodosia didn’t both looking at the Hufflepuff’s face after she finished with the kiss. She didn’t want to know what the other girl was thinking – it took the mystery out of the whole thing, and Theodosia was beginning to like mystery. Besides, no matter what the other girl thought, or said, about what had just transpired, the two of them were going to cross paths again. Theodosia would make sure of that. Just like the time they had met previously, though, Theo wanted to end on a bang, with something that the other girl would be sure to remember, and think about, often. The more someone else’s mind was wrapped up in her, the more Theodosia liked that person. She thrived on attention, even the silent kind. The Hufflepuff began laughing, and Theodosia rolled her eyes. That was a bit of an overreaction, if she was frank. Since Theo wasn’t looking the other girl in the face, she couldn’t read what she was thinking or feeling behind any of her words, but that was just fine. After the Hufflepuff had finished her mini-monologue, Theodosia just shrugged. “Do whatever better things you have to do, then.” She said, sounding altogether unbothered. “Just know that I don’t wait for anyone, darling.” The other girl was either going to learn how to flirt back with Theodosia and entertain her, or the Slytherin would revert to her old from of bullying… except worse, complete with some fisticuffs, as well. Fights left bruises, but Theodosia didn’t care about bruises – she could just use charms or makeup to cover them up. “Have a nice day, love. Sweet dreams.” Theo said, tossing her hair over her shoulder and then turning away from the Hufflepuff to go back to the Slytherin common room. The Hufflepuff’s way would be clear now, and hopefully the abrupt exit would once again leave her confused, disoriented, and somewhat intrigued with the girl who had just kissed her.

Zita was waiting for something, waiting for her to step in front of her again out of anger or frustration. But it seemed she just couldn't get under the snake's skin and it frustrated her to no end. What could she do? What would it take for her to show something other than that ever present overly self-confident tone? As she walked away from the snake she heard her say something about not waiting for anyone. She rolled her eyes. What made her think that she wanted her to wait? Or even wanted her enough for those words to effect her? She was just a momentary itch. Maybe that was for the best anyway that it doesn't go any futher than just that one peck? She didn't need to be messing around with some self-centered, rude, full of herself snake. She didn't have time for games. This year was winding down and she really did have better things she could be doing instead of playing into some silly girl's trap. She was just all around frustrated by the whole situation. So when she'd heard her begin walking away, she sighed and kept walking towards her own common room. She didn't need it. She kept repeating that over and over in her mind. Maybe she could find someone else to kiss. Someone she didn't have to worry about trying to manipulate her. Her earlier tiredness washed over her once again and she stretched, trying not to think about the unfortunately cute Slytherin girl with the soft lips that made her angry endlessly.
