Seeing Dustin stick his tongue out at her, Vinnie just smirked proudly to herself. She figured the nickname probably annoyed him and if that were the case, she made a mental note to use it again one day. Viovinnia playfully rolled her eyes as Dustin moved over to her and placed a kiss on her neck, making her usual smirk turn into a small, happy smile. If she could affectively move her arms to wrap them around the Gryffindor she would have, but her arms were far too heavy with blankets to do so. Vi made a huffy sound in response to Dustin declaring the blankets made her too heavy, wishing she could also cross her arms. "I hope you know when I get out of these blankets, you are in for a world of trouble," she said with a playful glare. It was already so hard not to want to be constantly close to Dustin somehow, and with all these blankets between them it was even harder.
Dustin said he had a better idea then, and Viovinnia raised one eyebrow skeptically at him. In her eyes, this had all been for nothing - there was no way there were going to... Suddenly, Viovinnia was hoisted into the air by what felt like an invisible force on her ankle and flipped upside down. The look on her face pure surprise, and maybe the smallest hint of fear brought on by said surprise. It wasn't until she was dangling in mid-air by her ankles that she realized Dustin had cast the 'levicorpus' spell. "Dustin. Ariel. Bainbridge. I am gonna murder you," Viovinnia drawled out, but with each word her smile grew wider and by the end of the sentence she, too, was laughing.

Dustin stepped away from Vi long enough to grin at her when she said that when she escaped her blanket prison, he was in a world of trouble. “Whatever for?” Dustin asked, feigning innocence. At least he hadn’t told Vi that she herself was fat – he would have gladly accepted any and all ramifications for that, because that would have just been stupid of him. It was a little weird to have Vi swaddled the way she was, because it greatly inhibited her movements and made it difficult for him to get close to her – unless he was directly behind her, and that wasn’t going to happen, mostly because of his other machinations.
Vi looked so surprised for a moment that Dustin genuinely felt bad for not giving her any warning. His guilt didn’t last for very long, though, because Viovinnia was saying his full name in a tone that should have reminded him of his mother but definitely gave him feelings he did not ever want to associate with his mother – ever. “Viovinnia Nott, you wouldn’t murder me.” Dustin said, swishing his wand so that Vi would follow him, floating, as he traipsed out of the door and into the snow that had collected on every surface around the cabin, at least a foot deep. “The real question is whether or not I’m going to let you fall into the snow or catch you myself…” Dustin said, tapping his chin contemplatively. “Now, why would I want to catch someone who threatened to end my life?” He asked, eyes still glinting as he looked at Vi.

Vi looked at Dustin's face as he feigned innocence and she thought how lucky he was that she thought he was so cute, even pretending to be innocent, because if he hadn't been looking at her like that she wouldn't have had a smile spread across her face the way it did. "Oh, you know what for, Bainbridge," she said, unable to stop the little laugh that escaped her lips as she pointed threateningly at him.
If anyone else had done this to her, Viovinnia would have certainly cursed them by now. But this was Dustin, and even though the Slytherin would never admit it, she actually didn't mind Dustin playing around like this. If anything, it made her feelings for him stronger. And that was weird. The way her name sounded in his voice caused her to bite her lip to hold back a smile. She wondered if the butterflies she felt whenever he said her name would ever go away, but really hoped they didn't. "Watch me," she challenged the Gryffindor as her body had no choice but to follow him out into the snow. Her eyes widened at the sight of the foot-deep snow. "Dustin..." She said his name slowly and what she hoped sounded threatening, but she knew her smile was breaking through. "I swear, you better catch me or Merlin help you!" She shouted helplessly, yet still grinned like an upsidedown fool.

Dustin just raised his eyebrows at Vi when she said to watch her, an expression that clearly conveyed his disbelief. There was no way that Vi would try to actually kill him – then she’d have to explain where she’d been all Christmas while also coming up with an alibi for murder, and while the Slytherin was talented, Dustin didn’t think that she was quite that talented. Vi said his name after his threat to drop her into the snow, and Dustin blinked up at her, the very picture of innocence. If she was trying to intimidate him, then she was failing miserably, because he could see her smiling and hear it just as clearly in her voice. She said that he’d better catch her, and Dustin just batted his eyelashes before releasing the Levicorpus – and stepping forward so that Vi would land in his arms.

Viovinnia knew she could be fairly intimidating. Years of practicing her poker face had perfected her mean face which usually kept people away. Well, everyone except the Gryffindor that currently held her in the Levicorpus spell. She was glad she didn't intimidate him, but he sure as hell intimidated her. Despite the smile she wore, and failed miserably to hide, she watched as if in slow motion as Dustin released her from the levitating spell. She thought for sure she would be falling into the snow beneath her but she was relieved to land instead in Dustin's arms. It was like something out of one of those muggle movies she had always heard about. Not that she had ever seen one, but she imagined the scene had to be plucked directly from one. She looked the Gryffindor in the eye as she raised an eyebrow at him, always having to keep up the "cool girl" facade. "A wise choice. You live to see another day," she said giving him one pat on the chest.
