[googlefont="Kranky:400;"] tagged @edmund words 251 notes Super excited for this. | Cameron had no idea what to do. He had finished all his homework that he needed for the day. There wasn’t much he wanted to do because he wanted something new to do. He had pretty much done the same thing for five years while at Hogwarts. He wanted something new to explore but he didn’t have his friend Louis to show him any of the things he usually does. It was times like this that he could find Louis, but today was not the day.
He decided to go on his own to find some adventure, but he wasn’t the best with them. Usually he needed Louis to encourage him before he dared anything other than his norm. He left the Ravenclaw Tower and made his way down the stairs. He stopped by the kitchens and got a sandwich since he skipped lunch. He ate it on the way outside, which is was finished by the time he got outside. He just started walking trying to bring in some thought of what he would want to do as an adventure.
His hands were stuffed in his pocket as he walked around the grounds. His head was down a little so he wasn’t paying attention to where he was going, thankfully he was far from the lake. He kicked at the grass as he walked thinking. He heard his name called and looked towards the noise as he accidently ran into someone. Oh, hey. Sorry about that mate he said quickly.

Edmund was in a foul mood, which was a shame. He'd been doing so good lately about being positive and cheerful with those around him but now ... now his attitude was nothing like that. He felt angry at the world for no particular reason at all. Funny how that could just happen on its own. He went through his classes moodily, saying nothing to those around him or even his professors. Granted, they knew that to try and get him to talk when he was in a mood like this was pointless. He wouldn't respond no matter how many detentions he got, so they'd stopped giving them to him when he wouldn't talk.
Now he was storming across the grounds, with the hope that if he just let his emotions out while outside, he wouldn't have to let them out on anyone. It wasn't a foolproof plan, but he hoped it would work. Then, he ran into someone. Edmund glared at the person in front of him. It was a boy, but he didn't recognize him. He apologized and if he'd had an accent Edmund would have assumed he was a foreigner, but there was no accent. Great. "Watch where you're going," he growled, though he was just as much at fault as the other boy.
@cameron (I apologize in advance for anything Ed might do or say here ...)

[googlefont="Kranky:400;"] tagged @edmund words 220 notes Cameron already accepts the apology in my head. | He had wondered who had called his name when he looked over. They had only said a brief hello to him as they walked on. Of course, that was when he accidently ran into someone. He apologized but that didn’t seem to work for the boy. He had told him to watch where he was going, and granted he should, but it was the way the boy said it. It took him a while to recognize the boy. He was on the Slytherin Quidditch team. He didn’t know the kids name though. He sighed wondering if this was going to have a good outcome.
Look I said I was sorry okay. There is no need for this to get…ugly he told the other boy. Cameron wasn’t much of a fighter like some guys around here. He would fight back though if someone was trying to hurt him or any of his friends, he just wasn’t that good at it. He hated making enemies and hoped this kid would reconsider his attitude since it was only an accident. He wondered how he was going to make this situation better for the both of them, so that neither one of them would get detention for anything that might happen during this confrontation, especially if it was on a day of quidditch practice.

Edmund knew this wasn't right. Really, the guy hadn't done anything to him except for accidentally bump into him, but Ed's mood was foul and he couldn't help but take it out on the poor guy. It really was a shame, because he wasn't normally as big of a jerk as he was definitely going to seem now. Still, he couldn't seem to help himself. The boy sighed at his response, which only infuriated Ed more. "You know, everyone says that all the time, but saying sorry doesn't fix things right away. It's not like saying reparo, which just automatically makes everything alright again!" His voice was filled with venom, but somewhere in the back of his mind, Ed realized that this wasn't about running into the boy at all. This was all about Addi. Again. Ugh, he needed to get her out of his head! At least, he needed to stop taking his anger at her out on others. He sighed and raised a hand to rub his right temple as he shook his head. "Sorry," he said, realizing the irony of the apology. "I shouldn't be taking this out on you. My bad," he muttered as he turned away, already starting to feel guilty. What was wrong with him? @cameron (sorry ... I guess he's too much of a marshmallow to actually fight over someone bumping into him )

[googlefont="Kranky:400;"] tagged @edmund words 231 notes Poor Edmund. | Cameron had no idea what was going to happen next. Was he going to have to fight this kid? He hoped not because even though he would if he had to, he didn’t want to really. Cameron could fight but he wasn’t very good at it. How could someone get so offensive or something that happened accidently. He wasn’t like the usual I am better than you kids who would have already pushed him down or said something awful. He was generally mad and angry. After the boys’ words Cameron wondered if this had to do with something else. If that were true then Cameron didn’t have a chance to get out of this without a fight. Something had happened to this kid and he was about to take his frustration and anger out on Cameron.
Then something happened that gave Cameron hope that a fight wouldn’t occur today. He said sorry was well. He then confirmed what Cameron suspected, that he was angry at someone else and he was taking it out on Cameron, well was going to. Cameron nodded at the boys’ apology and said it’s okay. May I ask what is bothering you so much? He hoped that he could be helpful to the kid if only to keep him from losing it on someone else, and that someone else may not be as forgiving as Cameron was.

The kid was quiet. Maybe that was a good thing because it gave Edmund a chance to think about what he was doing, in picking a fight with someone else. Honestly, the boy didn't look like much of a thread and Ed was pretty sure that if it came down to a fight he'd be able to hold his own, but that wasn't the direction he was headed in anymore. Now that he had the chance to think if over a bit, he decided that it would be better to just let it go. To let the boy go in peace without starting anything. Besides, he didn't want to get a detention or something, so that was probably the smarter thing to do.
The boy accepted his apology, nodding as he asked what was bothering him. Edmund took a deep breath. He was not good at opening up to people. In all honesty, he'd never been quite good at that. His specialty was bottling things up until he exploded at people. Still, he was being nice and probably thought that he could help somehow. "It's old news," Edmund said after a while. "I just can't get over it. My ... well, now-ex-girlfriend was kissing another boy at the Yule Ball and thinking about her makes me moody sometimes." Most of the time. However, lately he was getting better at thinking about other things, as a general rule. Hopefully that would keep on getting better because Ed was tired of letting his anger at Addi control him.

[googlefont="Kranky:400;"] tagged @edmund words 152 notes sorry its a little short. | Cameron waited for Edumund to tell him what was the matter. He seemed distracted as if recalling the event was too painful now, or like he didn’t want to talk about it. Cameron was just about to tell him that he didn’t have to when he spoke. Cameron didn’t know anything about having a girlfriend, or the heartache that would come from one person hurting the other especially when they cared so deeply for that person. No, Cameron was not experienced in such things. What could he say to him that would make him feel better? Nothing really. Cameron sighed running a hand through his hair. That is horrible. I am sorry. Do you want to talk about it? Get all your feelings out? It might make you feel better. I am not an expert really on this but I am a good listener he said with a smile on his face.

Obviously the kid didn't know what to say to his revelation. Really, what was there to be said? It wasn't like anyone else had any control over it other than Addi and Daryl. Now Edmund felt bad for loading his problems on the poor kid. He didn't even know his name, for goodness sake, and here he was snapping at him and then confessing all his problems like a child. He shook his head in frustration, shrugging when the kid said he felt sorry for him and asked if he wanted to talk about it. "I don't know what else there is to say," he muttered. He wasn't angry, just resigned to what happened. "I'm Edmund, by the way. Edmund Windsor." Maybe he could just change the subject. He felt bad practically yelling at the kid, apologizing and then leaving. So he'd stay for a bit. Hopefully something interesting would happen.

[googlefont="Kranky:400;"] tagged @edmund words 222 notes anything here. | It was like sorry had washed over Cameron. He had no idea how it felt to feel the pain of seeing something like that. He had no idea what to say to this guy. He heard about things like this from his older brothers but never probed too deep into their dating lives. He sighed a little feeling a little sorry that the guy was having to go through this. The kid said that he didn’t know what else to say. I don’t know but I do know that talking makes a lot of things much easier. Maybe you should talk to her about this. Get her side of the story and why. That might help clear up things for you Cameron said to the guy. He didn’t know if it would fix it right away but it was probably a good place to start. The guy introduced himself as Edmund Windsor and Cameron remembered who he was now. Oh yes, you play on the Slytherin quidditch team right. You’re a chaser he said. He held out his hand to Edmund. Cameron I also play keeper for the Ravenclaw team he said with a smile. Maybe sometimes we can meet up and play a little game one on one. It could help take your mind off that girl of yours he said.

Edmund didn't know why he told the kid this. His reaction was much the same as everybody else's, but Edmund didn't want to talk to Addilyn about this. Every time he tried to talk with her the two of them got into a fight and he just ... he didn't want to make things worse. Besides that, it'd been months. She probably didn't want to talk to him about it at all anyway. "I'll think about that," he answered in what he hoped was a calm voice, trying not to bit the kid's head off again. Edmund smiled when Cameron- the boy introduced himself as that- mentioned that he was on the Slytherin team. "I am," he confirmed, reaching forward to take Cameron's hand. When the boy said he was on the Ravenclaw team, Edmund looked at him more closely, nodding when he recognized him. He gave a small chuckle, "You mean I haven't scared you off yet?" He then shrugged, "It would be a fun way to practice." Ed's practicing hadn't been the best since there weren't any matches this year, but he loved every excuse he got to get on a broom.

He hoped that if Edmund took his offer to do a little scrimmage themselves it would keep his mind off his relationship troubles. He smiled when the guy recognized him and asked if he hadn’t run him off yet. No, not yet. I can take a few hits here and there he said. He smiled when Edmund took him up on this offer. Good want to start today. Say meet up at the quidditch pitch in like an hour, unless you have something better to do than lose he said with a grin. Yes he was taunting Edmund a little but all in good fun.

Edmund smiled at the guy in front of him as he said that he wasn't scared off yet. He was being very nice for someone that Ed was taking his frustrations out on only a few moments ago. Ed appreciated that. Most of the time when he got frustrated and took it out on people, they tended to avoid him. Not that he expected any differently, but it was a bit disappointing. That was one of the reasons why he was trying to hard to get control over his emotions and actions. He was tired of scaring people off. "Good to know," he answered with a nod. Cameron asked if Ed wanted to start today and he was taken a bit by surprise, but smiled. "Sure, today sounds great," Ed could feel the excitement already rushing through him at the idea. "Oh, don't you worry about me. I can take care of myself on the pitch. You just focus on yourself," Edmund teased. "I'll probably be here in half an hour though, so when you get here feel free to join me in the air," Ed suggested. He now had every intention of grabbing his broom and coming straight out here.

[googlefont="Kranky:400;"] tagged @edmund words 000 notes anything here. | Cameron knew everyone lost their cool every now and then. This guy had just seen something no guy should, his girlfriend cheating on him. Knowing about it was one thing, but seeing it was a whole nother level of crazy in Cameron’s mind. Both were bad but the latter was the worse. He felt for the guy he did. He cared about a girl, which he was just starting to realize though he wasn’t sure what exactly it meant. He already cared for her they were friends, but there were new feelings he didn’t know. He would have to talk to someone about this soon. He smiled when Edmund agreed to a quidditch match just them. It would be interesting to see who could keep out the most quaffles. He grinned and said oh don’t worry. I am focus. He nodded when he said they would meet up at the pitch soon. Yeah I am just going to change real quick and grab my broom. I will meet you there he said.
