Rosie sat in the corner of the empty classroom that had been assigned for the student newspaper with her journal open and her pen in her hand. As much as she loved using the traditional ink and quill, when she really wanted to get things done, she often used a pen. Rosie normally covered the student sports section of the newspaper, however with Qudditch canceled for the year due to the tournament that was taking over everything, Rosie had to think of other things to fill her section with. And while yes, the tournament was covered like a sporting event, there were only three tasks and they were in the middle of two. They had already covered the first two tasks and didn't yet have enough information to begin speculating about the third task.
Rosie sat with the recent copy of the Daily prophet in front of her. She hated stealing information, but she needed the scores of any recent professional Quidditch matches to add to her section. She knew they were on a deadline and she hated having to scavenge around for stories, but there wasn't much else that could be done. Her section would be light for this issue. Rosie wasn't alone in the crunch. The room currently housed a handful of her fellow journalists writing away, or editing page layouts, or researching stories, just like her. At least it was nice to know that she wasn't alone.

Olivia knew there was a group of the journalists in an empty classroom that day. She wasn't sure if they were all going over everything they had written, or just joining together to actually write things up for herself and Grey to look over. The students they had on the club were good writers, but they did have a few things to work on. Especially at the moment where all they really had to write about was the tournament and the things going on around in the world. There wasn't much they could add that was different, but Olivia wanted to see what they had going for them.
As she entered the classroom, she glanced around at everyone who was there. Rosalie caught her eye in fact, as she looked nervous and confused. Tilting her head to the side, Olivia tucked a red curl behind her ear and walked over to the Hufflepuff, smiling. "Hello, Rosie." Olivia took the seat across from her and glanced over what she had so far and nodded towards her notes. "How's it going?"

Rosie looked up from her desk when she heard the voice of Olivia greet her as she walked over and took the desk across from her. "Oh hey." Rosie nodded in greeting and picked up the yellow mug of coffee she had sitting next to her. She swirled it around a bit and then cook a drink. It was cold, but Rosie didn't really mind. She knew charms to warm it, but she kind of liked the taste of cold coffee. Only now it was more room temperature than cold, however, she knew if she left it a little longer it would come to the perfect temperature. March did promise spring, but that didn't mean it was always warm out.
"It's uh, it's going. Mostly without Quidditch the sports section is fairly lacking. However, at least there is the scrimmage game coming up." she had heard tell of a scrimmage with randomly assigned teams, which promised a good time. It forced the players to play with other houses and showed off more individual skill than when they played with their normal house team that spent hours every day practicing together. A good player could play for any team and make them great. "what are you working on?" she asked, happy for a distraction.
