@lestrange if there was an award for sitting in awkward positions, jay was sure that he'd win at the moment. he was currently sitting in the window in the common room of his house, the angled window sill made it difficult but he'd wedged his legs in so that they held him there, his back against the wall as he had an opened book in his lap. homework was never the highlight of his day but it was important. he'd taken a break for a few seconds though, long enough to start chewing on a stick of gum. he chewed it for a few seconds before blowing out a bubble, letting it pop before he chewed on the substance again. he glanced back down at his book and lifted it against his leg a little, turning the page as he heard movement in the common room below him. he took his attention off the book again, slowly coming to the realization that he'd probably have to read it later, and he smiled when he saw the familiar face of his adopted sister.

Andy was looking for Phil, but she really had no idea where he was right now. That didn't really worry her, he had all kinds of classwork to do to make up for things he didn't get to do in Brazil. She still preferred to know where he was... but that wasn't really a realistic wish. She found herself in the Common Room, and her eyes landed on Jayden, sitting in the window. She smiled, shaking her head a little at the site of him. She crossed over to him and nodded in greeting, "giving up on your homework already, Jay? I'm afraid as your older sister I must encourage you to preserver," she said, feigning a serious tone.

@lestrange "giving up on your homework already, Jay? I'm afraid as your older sister I must encourage you to preserver," he smirked a little and rolled his eyes, leaning the book down against his knees and then resting his arms against it, leaning his back against the wall. it shocked him how much he'd come to love andy in the last year and a bit. she was his sister in every way that alice was now, he felt the same about the two of them and nothing would be able to change that. "well as my older sister you should know that i buck authority and do my own thing." he teased. the last time he'd listened to his sister had .. he couldn't remember. though he did know that alice had given him a knuckle on the head for it. he smiled at the memory and shifted, spinning his body so he slid out of the window sill and landed on his feet next to her. "you looking for phil?"
