Cara asked how she balanced acting with school and Doni had to finish the bite she was chewing before answering. "Well, when I'm in school I mostly just read plays and study techniques, I don't get to do shows or anything," she explained. It was sad that Durmstrang didn't have a more active dramatic community. Cara stopped fiddling with her food as Adonia brought up that she may be acting now. The girl asked if she was and Adonia leaned forward a little more, her smile soft and her gaze focused. "Maybe I'm adding a little charm just to catch those eyes of yours for a few seconds longer," she admitted. "And people are often serious, even when they're choking. All jokes are laced in truth, I think," she added in reference to Caras issues understanding her sisters intentions. Then, Cara said she did indeed write fiction, which made Adonias eyes brighten. Then Caras eyes widened as Doni offered to help, which made Adonia smile even more. Adonia nodded, "of course I would," how adorable was Caras voice right now!? "I would love to be that second pair of eyes, Cara. I can help with character work more than plot, but I'm sure that could help," she said, excitement building. cara june bainbridge

@adonia Reading and studying. That seemed to be the foundations of everything. Cara had done the same with writing, though a lot of the ideas had come to her naturally in the first place. All she wanted to do was create something that other people could find entertainment and solace from. That was what she was always looking for, but could never really find. More so the latter. Peace of mind knowing that she was doing the right thing was difficult to find when no one else wanted to listen. Not that she ever asked them to, nor did she give them the chance. She was half the problem after all.
The more important question here though, was whether or not Adonia was acting this entire time. Cara didn’t want to think she was…but it was hard to tell, obviously she had admitted that part already. The response the other gave her though – well, Cara did exactly what Adonia said. She stared at her trying to process it all, before finally responding to the second bit. “Maybe. Like I said, I don’t really understand it.” She also didn’t understand the flirting bit either, seeing as the majority of her conversations dealt with her barking orders at the other person. This kind of thing didn’t happen often, or at least she didn’t notice it.
Adonia said that she would love to be the second pair of eyes. Cara had heard the correct, right? That alone was enough to get her brain racing, trying to figure out where exactly her new friend could help out. There was so much there, but also a lot that probably wouldn’t work. They would have to wait and see though. Maybe it wasn’t all bad content after all. “I…I would like that,” Cara responded happily. It had been a long time since she was last excited this much. There was the possibility that this was the spark she needed to get everything going.
