He said he could do that, seeming pretty happy about the idea, Ethan guessed. At the mention of flipping his letters, Ethan waved a hand. "No problem, we'll work together. Team work makes things easier," maybe not all of the time, but for Ethan it was a really important part of his life. He had his Quidditch team, other prefects, friends, family. Every grouping that was important to him was a team, in his eyes. This was just another team, a special one. "I think I'll float off so I can be out of the way when the game ends, don't want to force people to walk through me," he chuckled. "It was a pleasure to meet you," he held his hand out and then shook his head, "I'm sure I'll get used to this eventually."

Séamus had never thought of letter-writing as a team activity, but he kind of liked that Ethan saw it that way, instead of getting annoyed by the fact that Shay might make mistakes on the letters that the Slytherin would write for the Ravenclaw. “M-my p-primary sc-school t-teacher used to s-say ‘T-team w-work m-makes the d-dream w-work.’” Séamus shared with a small smile. He liked the idea of being on a team, which was part of why he liked being in the orchestra so much – he got to be a part of something bigger. Ethan said that he was going to float off so that people didn’t have to walk through him, and Shay nodded. “S-see you l-later, Ethan.” He said, looking at the outstretched hand for a moment. “W-we’ll f-figure it out.” Séamus said. He hadn’t ever walked through a ghost before, so he wasn’t sure what it was like, but even if it was unpleasant, if it made Ethan feel better, than Shay would endure – for the sake of a budding friendship.
