"I'll be sure to hold you to that." Shawn replied with a smile before he had walked to his side of the street. She was definitely an interesting woman to say the least but that was in no way a bad thing. Interesting and different people were typically some of the best people. Who wanted to be boring and plain like a few other people he knew. That wasn't to insult those types of people but they were certainly less fun. Kara laughed before telling him it was sad that he was lonely over there. "That's just my life on this side of the road." He commented as they continued to walk. Shawn began to wonder if anything would happen, not that he was going to complain one way or the other. He was still having fun but they were out looking for trouble after all it'd be a shame not to find anything.
Shawn hadn't been paying much attention to noises or at least not as much as he should have. He did notice Kara stop and motion for him to be quiet. At which point he did hear whatever she had been hearing. He would have been terrible at this on his own if he wasn't even going to listen for noises. Still he followed Kara's lead and quietly made his way down the street toward the sounds. Kara got to the corner first but as Shawn got there he peaked best he could toward the sounds. From what he could tell it looked like two figures trying to break into a shop or maybe a home, it was hard to tell from where he was at. Shawn got closer to Kara all the while keeping an eye on the figures both still pretty focused on breaking into whatever they were trying to.
Shawn smirked slightly while they peaked, getting the slightest of ideas. He laughed quietly for a second before asking "Mind if take the lead on this one?"

Karen laughed, this guy was fun! Soon, though, he was coming to her side as she waved him over. They peaked around the corner and saw two people trying to break into a building. She turned to Shawn, wanting to see his reaction and he asked if he could take the lead. She smirked, "please do, darling," she said, stepping back just a little and gesturing forward. She was excited to see what he had in mind, actually. She usually did this alone or if she didn't she liked to take the lead. Well, with Finn there really couldn't be a leader. That got too complicated. If anything, Finn was more of the leader and Karen just admired her and did what she said. That girl was amazing, and gorgeous, and totally awesome. All American girl right there. Still, she was interested to see what this newbie had in mind. shawn lesley ashcroft

Shawn nodded as Kara gave him the go head to take the lead. He wasn't sure how well this would work but he was more than willing to give it a try. He always had back up waiting if this didn't work and he knew just how hard Kara could kick. He felt safe enough with however this went down. Shawn stayed low and snuck toward the street hoping to get to the car parked near the two figures without them noticing. They kept looking around while trying to fight the door but they didn't see him as he made it to the car in time. Now was the part where he actually had a plan, getting here was just winging it. While behind the car Shawn out of sight from the two would be robbers, Kara and anyone else who might have seen him he turned into his German Sheppard form. Shawn growled slightly just to get them nervous before running from around the car barking angrily. It took him awhile to master actually sounding mean and growling, when he first turned into a dog everything just sounded like a happy dog.
The two man were now pretty frightened by what they thought was a vicious dog. They dropped their tools and started to run down the road and Shawn gave chase just for a few seconds before letting them go. It was enough that they were scared and would probably stay away for sometime. Shawn returned to the corner Kara was at after hiding behind a car once more and turning back to normal. Really he used any excuse to turn into a dog, it was useful for so many things. "I think that worked." Shawn said with a laugh as he waited for her response. Sure it wasn't some amazing fighting moves like Kara could pull off but it got the job done and he didn't like being violent if there was another way. It brought up too many bad memories. "I'm just glad they ran and I didn't have to bite anyone."

Kara watched, hanging back. He stayed low and then -yes! And Animagus! She giggled and then covered her mouth as the German Shepard Shawn moved forward, growling and then barking. The men ran away and Shawn chased them. At that point Kara just laughed out loud, they were long gone and wouldn't come back to a barking German Shepard. She stepped out a little as he came back, turning back to normal. She applauded him as he approached her, jumping up and down. "Brilliant! I would have died if you actually bit one of them," she laughed loudly. Then she stepped forward to link arms with him, "let's get a quick drink before calling it a night. I like you, Shawn. You're funny. And useful," she giggled, "let this be the start of a beautiful friendship!" she took his arm, leading him along toward a pub. shawn lesley ashcroft(the end? XD)
