The caste was quiet today. She hardly saw anyone while she roamed through the corridors. Her sketch book was safely in her hands after having lost it just a couple of days ago. For the time without it she was constantly searching for, but she did do some reading when she wasn’t searching for the sketch pad. Some people told her that she drew too much. That was never such a thing. It was like telling someone they read too much. Nevena couldn’t even think of lessening the amount of time she drew or read a book. It wasn’t a good thought in her opinion. That was just something else that separated her from the rest of the crowd. She got that a lot since she was born, but she enjoyed being different. A lot of people expected her to play quidditch, just because of her parents and her family name. The fact that she didn’t even like quidditch, like she absolutely hated it, was enough for some people to think she was weird. She liked some muggle sports, including soccer. She didn’t mind going for runs either. She just couldn’t stand quidditch. It wasn’t even a hatred when she was younger, she just didn’t care for it then, but ever since coming to Hogwarts and being expected to play she had grown to hate the sport. She often wondered if her parents were okay with her not playing or liking the sport. Were they just saying that to hide their true feelings? Was she disappointing them? Was she a constant disappointment? She couldn’t think about that now, she had an appointment with the school counselor today before classes. She had skipped breakfast so she could get there early. She didn’t eat a lot of the time anyway. She just did a few snacks here and there. She made her way to the office and knocked on the door hoping that Madam Macmillion was also here. |
