Eleanor smiled happily as Zeph agreed that it likely was not going to be an issue. It wasn’t as if Eleanor couldn’t go anywhere without Cyrus, it was more than she preferred not to. The four years from graduation to their reconciliation had felt like she was living in a different world, one without the true happiness she felt when she was with the dark haired Quidditch player. Sure, she had dated Nate in between, and the relationship to him had been more serious than Ella had expected, but it felt like a blip on her radar. She was immensely relieved, also, to not have to keep seeing him all the time at work. He did have a nasty habit of entering a room that she was in and throwing her a look of pure contempt before wordlessly leaving. They’d be back on their proper levels at the Ministry, and she’d know he would have to go far out of his way in order to actually try and see her. The fact that Cyrus was a Quidditch player would be a draw factor for Zeph and Mera’s children as well, so there was that extra perk. “Perfect! I’ll let him know once we set a date to clear the evening,” she replied with a small giggle.
Eleanor made a face regarding the nay-sayers of Zeph and Mera’s relationship. “I just don’t see how it’s any of their business,” she said, clucking her tongue impatiently. “Besides, if I can see the way your face lights up when you talk about her, then other people can too,” she added with a short nod of her head. She did not, for the life of her, understand why people thought it was their business what went on in a complete strangers bedroom. She knew some of her parents friends would be like those nay-sayers though, which was an unfortunate sign of their upbringing. “Well, I best be getting these filed. Thanks for your help again, and I’ll meet you around here tomorrow. What time are you usually in?” Eleanor said, shifting the papers again. They were getting rather heavy, so she wanted to file them away swiftly and call it a night.

Zeph was so excited for her children to meet a real Quidditch Player. She would keep it a surprise though, so that Cyrus could see how much his little fans loved him when he arrived. It looked to be a wonderful evening.
"I can't wait!" she said. "It will be so much fun for them!"
Zeph appreciated Eleanor's support, and the woman was right. She could never speak about Mera without a world of love behind her words. She was glad her new friend saw it.
"We don't really worry about them anymore," she said. "We have each other and our sweet children. Nothing could stand in the way of that kind of joy."
Zeph nodded about Eleanor having to leave. Zeph had to get to work soon herself. She began to walk off as Eleanor asked about the time.
"Same time I believe," she said. "Have a wonderful evening, and lovely meeting you!"

Eleanor nodded. “I’m glad to hear that. It sounds like your kids can look to you for examples when they get older and tread their ways through the tricky web of relationships,” she told her with a giggle. She was happy that Zeph had agreed to this dinner; after working so many hours, Ella needed to get out more and make new friends, and she loved when she had Cyrus by her side. Plus, she was curious to see how he would be around children; she knew that now they were back together it was for the long run, and she also knew that one day she wanted to be a mother. This would be a good chance to see his potential parenting skills in action.
Ella grinned at Zeph said she needed to get off to work as well. She would have waved, however that would involve moving her loaded down arms and likely toppling all of her paperwork over the ground again. “I’ll see you tomorrow then, it was lovely meeting you too!” she agreed. With a final nod of her head, Eleanor turned around and made her way down the hallway, treading carefully so that her shoe didn’t break, so she could finally go home and relax.
