Riley asked if she was older and River nodded. Riley suggested that it could remain unspoken until it came up and River nodded again, waving a hand. "Yeah, yeah. It's fine. We're going to be fine," he was mostly talking about himself. He sighed, looking down at his hands and then back up at Riley, trying for a smile. "Thanks for the chat, Riley. How do you always know when someone needs to talk?" he chuckled a little. Riley was good at that kind of thing. River overthought things immensely, but Riley seemed to have the right answer come naturally to him. It was a gift, clearly, and River didn't have it. Not that he exactly wanted it. He didn't mind the journey so much, to be honest. The confusing stuff was kind of fun, if he let it not stress him out so much. Still, it would be nice to come to a quicker conclusion in some cases. @riley (maybe one or two more )

River seemed to be feeling a little more confident with his concerns now after talking with Riley, which pleased the Ravenclaw. He liked helping people. That was why he wanted to become a therapist and help people, even if it was just giving them a person to vent to and work through the things that they didn’t have anyone else to talk about to. “It’s my job.” he laughed. “Err… my future job I guess.” he shrugged and corrected himself. As much as he wanted to be professional already, and while he had been studying for nine years to give himself the skills required to be hyper-observant, he was still a child, he was still in school. So he wasn’t a professional, even if he knew what he was talking about and studied for as long as some professionals did. He knew he wouldn’t be taken seriously until he was at least a graduate. “I think I’m gonna head down and get something to eat. You wannah come? Or shall I leave you with your thoughts?” he asked, standing up and leaving his book on his bed.
@river ((go ahead and end it ))

It was his job. Future job. Interesting. When Riley asked if he wanted to come down with him River hesitated, but ended up nodding and standing, too. "Yeah... yeah, that sounds nice," he said, following RIleys lead. He wasn't really that hungry, but maybe it was a good thing to actually spend time with people who were nice to him... he hadn't done that since January, really. His best friend Liv had stopped talking to him. Or rather, he stopped talking to her first. But one meal with Riley couldn't hurt, right?
