Life at Hogwarts was quite pleasant for Peyton Bainbridge, besides all the drama that was happening around the school and in the entirety of the Wizarding World. Now that the Triwizard Tournament was over, things were going to change once more. The students from the other school, some of which she hadn’t had the pleasure of actually talking to, would be leaving Hogwarts behind until the next tournament happened, something that wouldn’t be during Peyton’s time at Hogwarts. But with the close of the competition, it just meant that the school year was soon coming to a close, it made her a little upset. Hogwarts was home away from home, something she had heard many tell her before she even came to the huge castle filled with magic, and now she could agree. While she loved going home to see her parents, including whenever Dustin was around, she still enjoyed spending time with friends and her Hufflepuff family. As a type of celebratory day, or just a day that included getting some candy from Honeyduke’s, she found herself wandering through Hogsmeade, a place that was fantastic. It was just a little bit away from Hogwarts, a place that was filled with types of places, from places to shop and places to eat. But it also included Honeyduke’s, everyone’s favorite candy and chocolate shop. It was warm out since the spring weather was coming about in the early time of April, and she loved it. Sporting a pair of white sneakers that she paired with her grey cross-back romper, she walked through the familiar surroundings. Her natural curly pale blonde hair was pulled up high in a messy bun, but some strands had fallen out and caused her to brush pieces back with her fingers. Maybe she’d get candy just for herself? Though she knew that if she wasn't careful, her sisters would go stealing it, not that she minded; but sometimes a girl likes her sweets, right?

Dominic wouldn't mind living in a place like Hogsmeade someday, if he intended an ordinary life for himself. Which he didn't. He didn't expect to settle down with someone lovely in a small town and live a quiet life full of love, acceptance and attention. No, he didn't expect any of that. He expected to be a powerful, terrifying being whom people admired respected and well, of course, feared. That was the path he had chosen for himself.
Part of that path was having 'lesser' people to do your bidding, and Peyton Bainbridge was just one of those people. She had somehow become like a little... slave was a harsh word... 'maid' for him in their time at Hogwarts. She delivered messages to people for him, she ran errands. She was basically his pet, which was kind of fun. Plus, she was a Bainbridge, so it somehow made an accidental collection start happening.
He saw her up ahead in the village and smirked, sauntering over to her. "Peyton," he greeted casually.

The thought of which candy she was about to buy was on her mind. So, lost in thought about what she’d get for herself, and what she’d get for her sisters because she knew she’d have to share, was clouding her ears and her attention. So, bad that she hadn’t heard someone following her, nor did she see anyone out of the corner of her eye. The moment she realized she wasn’t home was when a cold chill sent a shiver down her spine, and she almost screamed at the sound of her name being said from somewhere near her. It was Dominic, a bully that had somehow gotten her to do his bidding. Why? Because he was a rude jerk that Peyton rather do stuff for him then to let him pick on her. He was one of the reasons she hated bullies, she rather it be her then someone else. But, while she could stand up to him, she was still a bit afraid of the older and taller boy. “Dom,” she breathed out before swallowing back her fear, placing a brave face on her porcelain skin and plastered a forced smile upon her lips. “You going to enjoy a lovely day in Hogsmeade as well?”

She said his name and he smirked. He knew the affect he had on people, especially those that he tormented. That was the whole point of tormenting them, to get that reaction from there. She asked if he was enjoying 'a lovely day in Hogsmeade', her smile fake and everything he expected. "I am, and yourself? I think I'd like to join you," he took a step closer, "that is, if you don't mind." He was tall, which served him well when it came to these situations. It was better for him to have the upper hand in the literal sense of being, even if it was only a little, taller than the person he was speaking to.
When it came to Peyton, he didn't really need to use his height, though it was advantageous at times, too. His tone worked, as well as his muscular build, and the fact that he had his mismatched colored eyes, which could very easily make people feel uncomfortable because they were so strange. He was basically built to be a bully.

Dominic Dippet was not her friend, was not someone that she enjoyed the company of. He was a bully, and she was the bullied, he was the cat, and she was the mouse. She hated it, but she did nothing about it. Each time she wanted to speak up for herself, to say something that filled her chest with noble intentions to get the bully off her back, all she did was look in his mix match colored eyes, and she felt herself shrink. Hell, his muscular build and tall height, that was enough to make her want to cower in the corner. And why? Because she was small and petite, almost fragile like broken glass; sometimes he made her feel like the stereotype of women being weak was true, but only in her case. Her other sisters probably would have stood up to this meathead, maybe the older ones at least, but here she just wanted to disappear. ‘I’d like to join you,’those five words played over and over in her mind, especially after he said it like she had a choice. She wanted to tell him that she did mind, that she wanted to spend the time to herself, but instead, she found herself shrugging her shoulders and falling right into his spider web. “No—I don’t mind,” she breathed out, forgetting the fact that he questioned her back on enjoying the day in Hogsmeade. Her mind was elsewhere, oh how she wished she could just have the nerve and hex his smug face. But no, instead she just stood there like a deer in headlights, waiting for the car that was Dom to spook her.

He waited for her to answer, and it seemed like a lot longer than she really should have taken. Still, he was patient. She shrugged, eventually, saying that she didn't mind. He grinned, then lifted an arm to drape around her shoulders, turning forward, "should we head to the candy shop first? I'm not really one for sweets but I have no doubt that you would like some," he assumed. "Maybe tea would be nice, too... you lead the way, Pey," no, he did not mean to rhyme. "I'm all yours." She would know that the second he wanted to go a different direction than she chose than they would go that way. He still had the power, even if he was giving her a little semblance of some.

The moment that his arm got thrown and draped over her shoulder, she wanted to cringe but refrained from doing so. He was a bully in her eyes, but probably not to others. Plus, she didn’t want to seem like he was affecting her with his presence. At least, not any more than she already let on when she first ran into him a few minutes ago. He began speaking, bringing up the candy shop and how he wasn’t one for sweets but there was no doubt that she would like some. Before she could even open her mouth, he also brought up that tea would be nice. She nodded her head, “Both sound like a good choice…do you want the candy shop or tea first?” she questioned, but he was already telling her she could lead the way and that he was all her’s. She nodded her head, perhaps going to get tea first would be the better option, mainly since he wanted that more than he wanted the candy. Thus, Peyton found herself walking in the direction of the local tea shop, Madame Puddifoot’s, and it also happened to be where her friend Miss Angie worked.

She asked what he thought would be better and he didn't answer. He had already told her to choose, so he wasn't going to. She started toward the tea shop and he followed her lead, doing more of the steering than she once the direction was chosen. "Have you spent any time with your sisters today? I'm supposed to be meeting up with Cara later," he said casually. She would know how attached he and Cara were, how he was basically always around her and laughing with her. Being close to Cara was another way he controlled his Bainbridge collection. Peyton and Kinsey, his biggest targets, would have a hard time 'telling on him' to their big sister when she was so close to him.

Silence was her only answer when she questioned him on his feelings towards candy and tea first, and she knew that even if she headed somewhere, he would be in control of the location once they grew into view. That was why, she picked the tea-shop first, and they were off. During the walk towards the tea shop, him following her lead slightly, though he was the one calling all the shots on this walk, he asked a simple question. She shook her head, “I haven’t seen them much today, though I did see them the other day, not today specifically,” she said truthfully. It was true, while she saw them here and there around the school, she didn’t interact with them, each sibling doing their own thing within the walls of Hogwarts on that fine day. However, when he said that he was meeting up with Cara later within the day, she only found herself nodding her head and putting on a smile, “That sounds like fun, tell her I say hello,” she said, but she knew that he wouldn’t.

She shook her head, saying that she didn't see them today but did yesterday and blah, blah, he hadn't asked about yesterday, had he? She nodded as he mentioned Cara, saying that it sounded fun and for him to say hello to her. "I will I get around to it. Cara and I get rather caught up in other things when we're together," let Peyton think what she wanted, all the better. That was one little Ravenclaw trick he had learned -- how to put an idea in someones head and stoke it til it festered and until they believe it to be true. He thought it was pretty brilliant, in all honesty. He wanted to be able to see into Peytons mind to know what fantastical ideas she was churning up about him and her older sister.
They arrived at the tea shop quickly and he held the door open for her, gesturing for her to step ahead inside.

If Peyton had a dirty mind, it would have instantly gone into the gutter at Dominic’s words about getting caught up with his sister, but luckily for Peyton, her mind has remained innocent. Some might say she was lucky in that regard; others might concur that she’s just naïve in that sense. She nodded her head, “If you find the time among the other things, that’s fine. If not, I’ll see her around,” she said with a small smile, her voice filled with the innocent and naïve thoughts that she was currently filled with. Luckily for her, they arrived at the tea shop quickly, and she was somewhat surprised that the door was held open for her by the blonde male, but muttered her thanks anyway as she entered. Her eyes quickly wandered around, and her luck instantly disappeared, Miss Angie was nowhere to be seen. She almost sighed in defeat but remained composed as she leads Dom over to a table that was somewhat in the back but not. It wasn’t that she didn’t want to be seen with him, it was more that she knew that he would lead her a different way if this wasn’t the table that he wanted.

Peyton didn't quite catch what he meant, it seemed, which was a challenge to him. Make as many uncomfortable comments as possible until she got the picture. Oh, this would be fun. "I'm sure we'll both see her around. I've seen more of her lately than I used to," he said, tone casual, mind reeling with the hilarity of it all. He was having fun. She led them to a back table and they sat down. When the waitress came over, she looked a little surprised, mostly because Dominic and Peyton didn't look even a little bit like a couple, and couples came here all the time. Dominic leaned forward, putting on his best grin, "two cups of whatever tea you most recommend, you look like you'd have a good opinion," he said, in his best smoldering voice. Yes, he was flirting with the waitress.

When Dominic said that he saw more of Cara then he used to, she still didn’t get what he exactly meant. The young girl took it as him having seen her around, maybe the two of them had hung out more lately then what they had done before. “That’s nice—you two are close friends now then?” she questioned almost confused by why he was bringing up Cara and such. The moment they sat down, however, a waitress came over and asked for their order. Peyton went to open her mouth, but Dominic had already beat her to it, ordering two cups of whatever she recommended, causing the blonde to shut her mouth. She watched as the waitress blushed and disappeared. Peyton rolled her eyes as she slipped back in her seat, crossing her arms over her chest like a young child as they waited.

Peyton asked if he and Cara were close friends now and he grinned. "You could say that," he said, casually, leaning forward, "about as close as a male and a female can get, I'd add," that was a downright lie, but Peyton wasn't even reacting at all to his implying he had been hooking up with her older sister! That was no fun. The waitress blushed as he flirted with her and then vanished. He chuckled, a low and cocky sound, turning back to Peyton who had her arms crossed over her chest. "Do you flirt, Peyton? I'm not sure I've seen you ever give a guy, or girl, the time of day," he asked, raising an eyebrow at her. He would stay silent until she answered, he wasn't afraid of letting silence brew between sentences. Especially if it made her uncomfortable, or even if she was just thinking it through.
