On the outside, Bella looks like someone who might be, well, a little unhinged. And she is, to an extent. Bella is very eccentric, often getting lost in thought and speaking whatever happens to be on her mind – it usually has nothing to do with the conversation at hand. She is very easily distracted by people and things. She finds people with intense emotions fascinating, and she flocks to them, which becomes a very interesting sight around her casino. She is obsessed with emotions and is very empathetic to others’ plights and feelings. She is always willing to offer a kind word or a helping hand.
Bella has a very strong competitive streak, which is part of the reason she opened her casino at a young age. She loves card games, especially poker, and she hates to lose. She’s a good sport about it, but she hates it. A former player at Hogwarts, she’s also very fond of Quidditch, and the games can usually be seen playing on any screen at the casino. She’s very vocal about the sport and can be heard screaming at the television from her office when the matches get especially intense.
Deep down, Bella is very much a pacifist. She’s not afraid to stand up for herself or others by any means, but she hates fighting and discord. She is also very aware of the stigma bestowed upon her by her name, and she tries to be as neutral as possible when it comes to issues of blood status. She makes friends among the purebloods where it is necessary, but she typically avoids talking about blood or diverts the conversation away when it is brought up.

history:
It could be said that life growing up was easy enough for Bellamy. Her mother and father met at Hogwarts. Both were pureblood elitists, both in Slytherin, both fairly detestable people. Bella was spoiled from birth, but there was always something off about her. She never really clung to her parents’ obsession with blood or material possessions. She was kind and compassionate to everyone, even the Mudbloods she occasionally met. Her parents didn’t like that, and they tried their hardest to train their daughter to live up to their expectations. It didn’t work.
When Bella began attending Hogwarts, her parents were mortified when she was sorted into Ravenclaw instead of Slytherin. It had less to do with the house’s “evil” reputation and more to do with the fact that their family had been in Slytherin as far back as anyone could remember. But Bella felt very much at home in Ravenclaw, where her curiosity was free to expand and grow. And she was very curious when it came to people. She was above average at most of her classes, but she really wanted to know what made people tick. She decided to take Muggle Studies, making sure to keep it a secret from her parents. She found Muggles to be fascinating people and wondered why her parents would hate them so much.
Shortly before Bella graduated, Lance walked out on the family. No one really knows why, but rumors went around that he was seeing a much younger woman. Bella didn’t really care, having distanced herself from her parents, but her younger brother was devastated at losing their father. Bella tried her best to be a father figure for River, but she knew it wasn’t the same.
After graduating, Bella began traveling. She discovered a love of gambling while traveling in North America. She returned to Europe a few years later and quickly opened Gambling Galleons at the age of 25. The magical casino rose in popularity and became the hottest gambling attraction in England. It was populated mostly by Purebloods who recognized Bella’s prestigious name, but all were welcome. It was because of this and the young woman’s kind heart that she was approached by the Order of the Phoenix to serve as a spy.
Bella was more than willing. She had grown to love all people and despise her name so much that she jumped on the opportunity. She had plenty of connections, and she could easily keep tabs on most of England’s notable Purebloods.
During the terrorist attacks, Bella reluctantly kept her head down. She wanted to help her friends, but she was needed at her casino to listen out for any more attacks. That’s where she now spends most of her time, on the lookout for anything that might help the Order and bring an end to this nightmarish regime.
The Triwizard Tournament offered a decent amount of gossip, and was good for business, but Bella found it extremely distracting. With everyone placing bets and waging all-out knockdown, drag-outs, she found that she couldn't keep up with her main goal, which was espionage.
