[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] There's a Song in my soul, try and beat it out [attr="class","itokaytext"] It was just like very other day and having been through all the classes, Thalia just wanted to escape from the castle. She had been sitting inside for quite a lot of time, and not to forget the assignments she completed all in one go. Looking out of her dorm room she saw that it was evening time and she decided to go out and walk. And as such she walked out of her common room and towards the pond. Lately she had been feeling odd, and she just could not figure out why she was feeling such. All she could say was that it was because of her realization that she would be graduating soon. She does not know if it was because she was leaving the castle, or because she was not going to be with her dorm mates and best friends' anymore. She just does not know why all the unhappiness and gloomy feeling was coming from. But whatever it was, Thalia did not like it anymore. She needed to find a way to over come those feelings and she was sure that she could find it.
As Thalia walked to the pond, she settled down under a tree and leaned against it. Looking out at the pond, and the sky, she sighed. And just then she heard footsteps appraching to where she was seated, and wondered who it might be. As far as she knew, none of her friends were going to come over here, for if they wanted to come, they would have joined her. And that left someone whom Thalia was not acquanited with, and even then she just sat there, looking at the dusk sky.

It was unusual to say the least. The day had been - normal, completely and utterly normal. Just an average day of classes and revising a bit for her OWLs that were fast approaching. She had spent time with her friends and caught up with her sisters for a bit as well. All in all it was a normal day, until Raina had found herself on her own for a bit. Lately there had been a few moments like this - when the usually happy and bubbly girl just... was quieter. Thoughtful. It had happened a few times recently and only in the past week did she manage to pinpoint on what was causing it. The year would be ending soon though, and with that came changes.
Changes were something that Raina had always struggled a little with, even as a child when her family moved from Bulgaria. She had struggled and clung to what she knew. Now more changes were happening and - there wasn't as much to cling to anymore. Her brother had already graduated - but this year, Irina would be too. She had always been a little closer to her oldest sister and the thought of next year not having her here, it was a little unsettling. Of course she'd still have Nevena here which was a comfort, at least her other older sister was in the same house as her as well. But - changes were always hard.
To clear her mind she had slipped out to go for a walk, managing to sort through her thoughts a bit and enjoy the cool air, the sun disappearing slowly for the day. Slowly bringing a light smile to her face as she continued her walk until she came closer to the pond, her eyes catching sight of someone settled beneath a tree. She didn't recognize them at first but after a moment it clicked in her face that they were familiar - from her house.. a seventh year if she remembered correctly.
It only took a moment before she smiled and moved a little closer, offering a half wave as she spoke up. "Hey, do you mind some company?"

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] There's a Song in my soul, try and beat it out [attr="class","itokaytext"] No matter how much Thalia wanted to run away from her thoughts, the more they seemed to plague her. While they were never bad thoughts, they sure were not good too. An in the end she was usually left with a bitter taste of her own medicine. All these days, Thalai did nothing but reminse her days in the school. While many were great memories, mainly when it was a memory with her best friends aka her dorm-mates. And there were just as many with other people, her seniors, her fellow yearmates and a few with some of the younger students. Everything she had grown used to in these six years would be gone in a few months and she did not know what to think of that. Should she be happy that she was ready to take on the next step as an adult or should she be bundled up inside her room and cling onto the things she was leaving behind. Thalia was just soo confused by this all. And this was not very like her usual self.
When Thalia could hear the footsteps getting louder, she became a little more curious and looked up to see the person approaching her. And turns out that the person was not someone she did not know, nor could she say that she knew her. It was the youngest of the Krum girls' and while Thalia can say that she never talked to this one in particular, she did have a good friendship with Irina considering that they were in the same year. She gave a smile and returning the wave, she said "Hello, come over. I would like some company"as she adjusted herself so that the other could have the option of sitting if she opted. "You're Raina right? "she asked with a casual tone and then added "I'm Thalia by the way."

Raina had often found herself recently feeling far from her usual happy-go-lucky self. Her mind was a mess and her heart was aching at the thought of all of the changes that were soon to be coming. There had always been a slight issue with change when it came to the youngest Krum child, she had never really been the type to just 'go with the flow' - instead it was always better to plan it out, to cause as less stress as possible for her. Now though - this change that was coming was one a little harder to swallow. Ever since she had started at Hogwarts - her oldest sister had always been there - not as close as Nevena was of course, different houses made that harder. But she had always been close by, always there when she needed her. But it was almost time for Irina to graduate - to go off into the world and become a curse breaker for Gringotts - or something else maybe, depending on what her sister decided. Raina couldn't be more proud - but at the same time she felt like that scared first year all over again, clinging to her older sisters hand like her life depended on it.
She shook her head slightly, shaking the saddening thoughts as she focused instead on the older girl she met outside, when she was offered to join the older girl, she gave a wide smile, carefully stepping closer and sitting down close by, "A lot on your mind or just looking to escape revising?" The question was innocent enough, her head tilting slightly to allow her currently blue hair to fall across her face when she heard her own name spoken, brown eyes darting over - she was certain the other girl was familiar, "That's me - its nice to meet you Thalia, are you friends with 'Rina?" now she was closer she was certain she had seen her before - likely with her sister at some point. @kyles2

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] There's a Song in my soul, try and beat it out [attr="class","itokaytext"] Suffice to say, Thalia was not going anywhere with her thoughts these days. All the thinking was only making her feel more and more dreadful about her graduation ceremony. She was definitely not looking forward to the day when she would no longer be considered as a Hogwarts student. But then again she was sure that she would always be a Hufflepuff. no matter where she would go, she hoped to retain her personality which was what had sorted her into the house of badgers. While it was not something her parents had expected, nor did she as a matter of a fact, in the end she was happy. She was happy to be a puff, and she was more than happy to have many memories in this place. After all she had never expected to be able to make soo many friends, she now has.
Looking up at the younger girl, Thalia smiled at her question and said "bit of both actually, wanted to be out of the castle for a bit". And then asked back "what about you?"She knew that the other girl was a fifth year and that meant that she was going to sit her OWLs that year, and from what she remembered from her own trials and troubles for the preparation, she wondered how the other on was doing and spoke up "how are your OWls preparations going?" It was only two years ago she sat for her exam and now she was ready to sit for her NEWT's . While her choice of career did not involve any particular newt's to be achieved, she still wanted to have them, for one never knew what her future might hold. And she was not going to take any chances. For all she knew, Thalia might take up healing if the current situation continues. At Raina's confirmation, Thalia smiled back glad that she did not mess up the names. And when asked about her and Irina, she gave a nod and said "yes I am a friend of Irina, that's how I could remember your name."

The end of the year was honestly something Raina had been trying, and mostly failing, at simply pushing out of her mind. But it kept coming back, with talks of OWLs being brought up again and people talking about trips and plans for the break. It was becoming harder and harder to actually avoid that it was coming closer as each day passed. Soon enough she'd be watching as her oldest sister graduated. Irina would be going on to bigger and better things - she'd be far away from Hogwarts. While Raina was certainly already proud - she was also nervous about what the following year was going to hold without knowing her oldest sister was nearby.
Raina smiled, she understood what Thalia meant, "Basically the same.. my brain is about to overload with all the revising - and... getting out of the castle helps a bit with everything else going on," as she settled down, sitting close by, her knees tucked up and pressing her back against a tree as she looked back at the older girl, a small sigh escaping her, "Alright enough - I'm more worried about my Potions than anything else with my OWLs - but hopefully I will pass them well enough." Her smile faltered slightly as she let her eyes drop to her hands, giving a small giggle before shaking her head and looking up again.
"I knew you looked familiar - I was a little worried for a moment I might have been wrong but, I guess I remember better than I though I did." she smiled brighter before sighing and leaning back, her head gently bumping against the tree, "How are you feeling? About.. graduation and stuff? Is it scary or.. exciting?" Maybe talking with someone else about to graduate might help her a little. She hoped Thalia wouldn't mind though.

[googlefont="Playfair Display"][googlefont="Josefin Sans"] There's a Song in my soul, try and beat it out [attr="class","itokaytext"] While at times Thalia got lost in her whirlwind of thoughts, today, especially now she decided was not the time. She has some company, and that someone happens to be the sister of a good friend of her's. And thus, she was not going to be lost elsewhere, not when Raina was talking to her. Besides she was only going to be here at school for a few more weeks, and after that she would not see many people. And the hufflepuff in front of her was one among them. She nodded at the reply, totally understanding what the younger puff meant. It was great that she was done with her OWls, but she did remember all those nights she stayed up and awake to get her studying done. And since they had soo many subjects to write, the preparation took a lot of time. Right now she only has a few NEWTs to write, having dropped a couple of subjects after her owl exams. And it was a wise choice as far as she was concerned, as it gave her more chance to explore more on the subjects she wants to learn more about. When potions came up, Thalia gave a sympathetic smile, and said that subject can be pretty tricky, but don't worry you will pass it. The written is the one which is tough to write, but the practical is easier."She hoped that her words might have helped the girl's concerns with respect to that exam. And who can she blame, potions was downright the most difficult exam, not that she was going to say out loud, no use worrying the girl.
Thalia had on a smile as she listened to Raina talking, about how she was right in recognizing her and truth be told, she kind of knew what that meant, as a few times, Thalia herself gets caught in situations like that. When she asked about graduation, Thalia wondered how to answer tat. While she would not be bothered by it usually, the girl was Irina's sister, who also was graduating. While Thalia never had siblings, she could hazard a guess that Raina was asking this with something on her mind. Well, let's be honest she thought with a small smile and said to be honest, it is a little sad for me and little scary."Thalia always found that talking out her internal thoughts, and worries with someone helped, and perhaps talking with Raina might help her after all. And so she continued on after her brief pause "I have been in this castle for the last seven years, and it was my home in all ways. And to leave it all behind me, it is soo sad"and sighed. "And I don't now if I will mix with the outside world, having lived in the safety of the castle for all this time, and it is scaring me a lot"she said and looked down at her hands.

Raina was already feeling most of her earlier tumble of thoughts getting a little quieter as she leaned back, enjoying the remaining daylight. Her worries were still there, bothering her - and she still had things to do that were going to need to be done - but for now they were a little further away. Having someone else to focus on, to listen to - it helped quiet everything else that was on her mind and weighing heavy on her heart. As she listened she smiled and nodded before letting out a tiny groan, "But its the practical that seems to just not like me.. no matter what I do - it doesn't turn out properly. Something always seems to go wrong.. I swear - with how good Irina is at Potions - she makes it look so easy. The Written, all the theory stuff - I'm okay with that, I can do that. But the practical.." Her brow crinkles slightly, a small frown on her lips, "I'm kinda worried I won't pass because my potion just seems to always blow up.. even my professor seems surprised at how often that happens."
She gave a little sigh, leaning her head back slightly before looking back at the older girl, she really did hope that Thalia wouldn't mind her questions - or her talking about her silly little potion problem, but the older girl seemed really nice, and most of the time Raina liked to think she was good at reading people. Her head jolted up, eagerly listening when Thalia began to speak in response to her question. Nodding slightly, it made sense that it'd be a little sad - after being at Hogwarts for even Five years, Raina couldn't imagine having to leave what was kind of her second home, she frowned and spoke up softly after a moment, "It's like a new adventure for everyone graduating - I-I know Irina's probably a little excited about starting her Career, so that is a good part - but.. its new, which can be scary as its something you don't know yet." She spoke quietly, her eyes moving to focus on the water, "But.. it's also leaving behind what you already know .. which is sad. Still, it'll still be here - like any home, it won't go anywhere - and - and your friends and other people you know... they will still be around, maybe not as close - but they will still be around."
