Well, here she was again. It seemed like only yesterday that Addie Lee had worked at her mother's shop, Ravine's Wizard Wear. In reality, it had been over the Holidays. But the rest of winter and spring flew by in a flash and here she was. Addie Lee was already missing the heck out of her friends, but she imagined that the summer would flash by as well. And it wasn't like she hated working for her mum. In fact, she loved it. She loved both selling and wearing her mother's clothing line, which had become more and more popular over the years. Still, she was anxious for her final year at Hogwarts.
She would make the most out of her time at the shop though. Sadly, most of her mother's clothing line was for witches, so she didn't see a lot of handsome blokes come in unless they were with their girlfriends. Most of the female customers were nice though. She guessed they'd hardly insult the daughter of the fashion designer whose attire they were looking at. Well if anything, Addie Lee didn't give them a reason to be angry at her. She gave great customer service, knowing her mum would not be happy with her otherwise. Currently, she was showing a kind, but eccentric old witch some dresses.
"Are you sure the wine-colored dress is the right one for me, Addie Lee dear?" asked the woman.
"Perfect, Mrs. Hollydrop." smiled Addie Lee. "It matches your lip color perfectly. You'd drive the blokes simply mad."
"Oh you lovely girl," blushed and chuckled Hollydrop. "I haven't driven the fellas mad in some time."
"You're kidding?" gasped Addie Lee. "Well, you obviously haven't been around men with good taste then. But in this dress, I think you'd have every head in the city turning."
"Well... well why not, and the sparkling blue one too," said Hollydrop.
"Now THAT one matches those gorgeous eyes of yours," smiled Addie Lee.
"Oh you're too much, my dear. Would you put them on my account?"
"Of course, Mrs. Hollydrop. Right this way and I'll wrap them up for you."
