Work at the Ministry was proving to be, so far, far less stressful than Rose Weasley had initially thought it would be. Though, after her workload her last year of school she supposed anything would see more easy. Granted she knew that work would get far much harder the further along into her internship she got. One thing she found herself wanting to contest one day in the Ministry was the Tri-Wizard tournament. Rose wanted it abolished once and for all. However she knew full well she would likely see a few more in her lifetime before she had any sort of clout in the Deptartment for International Magical Cooperation.
It was lunch time and Rose found herself particularly not hungry. So instead of eating a proper lunch, the Ravenclaw alum headed to Florean Fortescue's for some delicious ice cream. She settled on strawberry, of course, and then took the cone outside to the outdoor seating and found a nice table in the summer sun to enjoy her ice cream as she watched the hustle and bustle of Diagon Alley during lunch hour.

It was a wonder, really, how different life was out of school. So many of the things Scorpius had taken for granted about there being someone to spend time whenever you were bored or something to do at any hour of the day were becoming apparent, and unlike the previous summers, this time it was all the more obvious because it would be permanent. At least he had his job to look forward to, and Diagon Alley had enough going on that the difference didn't hurt. He was taking in the summer bustle in his lunch break when he spotted Rose at Fortescue's, and really, he couldn't not go see her. Their relationship had been through too many bumps to take it for granted. The way her hair glistened in the light was nothing short of stunning, and he caught more than one wizard looking. But that was okay, because she wasn't. And as Scorpius sat at the table across from her, he reminded himself just how lucky he was, because he had done nothing to deserve her. The present moment demanded attention though. He smiled softly. ”Rose darling, what a pleasant surprise to see you here. How’s your ice cream this sunny afternoon?” Rozalina Antonina Nightshade
