Lucy walked out of her audition and back into the lobby of the building feeling pretty good about the work that she had done in front of the director. It wasn’t a huge show, but it was something. And Lucy really needed to get something, it was getting hard to explain to her family how she was supporting herself as an out of work actress in London since they didn’t exactly know about her...side work… which paid her well enough to accept acting work without pay, but she wouldn’t tell anyone that. The whole point of her work with the agency was that it was so confidential. But she needed a gig to be able to tell her parents about at their next family gathering, so she continued to audition for whatever she could find. Lucy Weasley set her bag down on a chair to dig out her sunglasses before going back out into the English summer when another girl walked into the building. There were quite a few sitting around already, but the girl entering caught her eye as someone who was familiar. She knew her, she had been at Hogwarts last year, but Lucy knew that she wasn’t a Hogwarts student. They had spoken a few times, Lucy had gotten to know quite a few of the Durmstrang students and she was sure that the woman was one of them. “Hey, Adonia, right?” Lucy asked the newcomer.

Adonia had a nice audition and felt like it was a lot of fun. She just liked meeting other theatre people, whether she was cast or not. She was just glad to be in the world of theater and learning everything that she possible could. And what better place to do stage than London!? The home of William Shakespeare! Where he put on all his place! Okay, she was getting a little excited. She entered the lobby and got settled in in a chair so she could change her shoes from her heals to tennis shoes. She wasn't a big fan of heels, but she sometimes wore them to the auditions if she thought the character would wear them. She started to take off her shoes and looked up as someone nearby spoke to her. "Yeah! You're... Anna?" Adonia, in fact, had no idea that Anna Weasley - the Champion - had a twin sister. She was not paying close enough attention for that. Aside from a vague memory of 'Anna' in green instead of red. @lucyweasley

The woman whom Lucy had decided to greet did recognize her… kind of. “Lucy, actually. Anna’s my twin sister.” She admitted, feeling a little annoyed by the mix up but not letting it show on her face. The twins had been getting mistaken for each other since they were born, they were just so identical. Lucy had almost come to resent being mistaken for Anna over the past year though. Everyone knew Anna, everyone wanted to talk to Anna. It was all about Anna. And Lucy loved her sister, she really did. She wouldn’t have let the girl and her fiancee move in with her in her tiny apartment if she didn’t love them. But she didn’t want to be Anna. She didn’t want to be anything like her twin sister. Lucy was really good at putting up the front of being like Anna, but there were certainly things about her sister that Lucy would never appreciate or understand. Lucy, who also submitted her name for the tournament, had to watch her sister become chosen and then win over herself. And while she was so proud of the girl, she was also a little jealous. “It’s okay - people mix us up all of the time, we’re completely identical.” Lucy could help but wonder though, since she and Adonia had spoken a few times before, had Adonia just assumed she was talking to the Hogwarts Champion the whole time? Would Lucy always find herself in Anna’s shadow?

Oh! A twin! She vaguely remembered hearing something about that, but it didn't stick in her mind, clearly. Lucy said it was okay but Adonia was already shaking her head, reaching over to grab both of Lucys hands and holding them tightly, pulling them close to her and leaning forward so her face was just inches from Lucys. "Lucy. Lucy. Lucy." She repeated, her eyes narrowed as she made intense eye contact. "I promise to remember that. I've been silly," she said, shaking her head and then releasing Lucys hands. "Are you an actress!? You must have just been in the audition. Oh my goodness, I've never met a fellow - " she paused, giggling and leaning forward, "well, I've never really had someone to talk to here that understood all the aspects of my life. Not a lot of people like us acting, back in Sweden. Not a lot of theatre either," she explained. "Gods, you're gorgeous. Has anyone told you that?" Adonia shook her head as if she couldn't believe what she was looking at. @lucyweasley

While Lucy was slightly bothered by someone mixing her and Anna up, the woman who did the mixing up seemed to be even more bothered by it, which honestly caught Lucy off guard, she wasn’t used to anyone saying something more than oh, sorry, you two look so identical and then just going along with the rest of the conversation or encounter. She never told new people that she had a twin sister, not because she was ashamed of Anna, per say. There were, of course, things about Anna that Lucy wasn’t a fan of. However, the reason she didn’t tell people was because she didn’t want them to ask questions about Anna. She had spent the last year at school being asked questions about Anna after she became to Hogwarts Champion, and, she had spent her whole life being mistaken for Anna. So, she was happy to finally have a world in which Anna didn’t exist. “It’s fine.” Lucy insisted again, a genuine smile on her face. Why make it a big deal when they were both going to forget about it in a few hours?
Adonia asked if Lucy was an actress too and Lucy nodded, “Yeah - that’s why I’m here.” Lucy smirked. Adonia admitted that she had never met another magical actress, in fewer words since they were in a muggle part of town and surrounded by other people getting ready for, or leaving the audition and who knew nothing about their magical world. “There were a few people like us back at school, I did a bit of acting with some of them. Not all of them are cut out for it.” not that they ever did anything big at Hogwarts, but oh well. She had at least stayed on top of her techniques. And, she got lots of practice at home and at family events, though, that wasn’t something she’d ever say out loud. That was a character that she wasn’t sure she’d ever be able to step out of. “Have you moved here full time then? I’m glad we didn’t scare you away.” she admitted with a smirk. Obviously, Adonia was one of the survivors of the explosions, and Lucy was kind of surprised that after all of that trauma, she hadn’t wanted to go home. Adonia admitted that Lucy was gorgeous and, while Lucy knew that and had full confidence in herself and her beauty, she still allowed her cheeks to go red and she batted her eyelashes a bit, feigning slightly embarrassment. “My goodness you’re sweet.” Lucy gave a giggle, trying to decide whether or not the girl was actually just being sweet or putting on an act, they were both actresses after all.

Lucy confirmed she was indeed an actress and Adonia grinned happily. She said that there weren't many who did acting back at school, but they weren't all cut out for it. Adonia laughed, "I understand that. I auditioned for a play earlier that's touring in New York for a while, can you believe it?" she sighed, shaking her head in disbelief. That would be amazing! Then, Lucy asked if she moved there full time, Adonia nodded. "Yes! Aside from doing touring shows, I hope to make a home here," she sighed. Lucy said she was sweet, batting her eyelashes in an endearing way. "I'm always honest, Lucy. Especially with good news," she said, offering a wink. "I hope to see you at more auditions love, I've got to run!" she blew her new acting friend a kiss and skipped out. @lucyweasley (the end XD)
